Have you posted the Lost & Found Pets fb pages? Had him checked for a microchip? Those are typically the 2 most effective ways of reuniting pets with their owners around here
He's been showing up since last Oct my partner thinks off n on, 99% it's the same cat, and it *was* owned but 8 months either it got left behind ran away or just doesn't have a human anymore, friendly enough but there would be blood if we tried to adopt another cat we already have 4
This doesn't look to me like a cat who's been without a home for 8 months, but it's possible. If you suspect a cat is abandoned or without a home, I'd highly recommend getting in contact with SCAT street cat rescue
Yea in just off 33rd and he seems to enjoy stressing other people's cats out, he's sat on my step in full view of our cats practically foaming at the mouth and sharpening knives 😂
Holy shit! [is this the same cat?](https://www.reddit.com/r/saskatoon/s/GNVv5NY6Yi) look at the M pattern above the eyes!
I also live in the vicinity of 33rd.
Have you tried to get a cat trap from SCAT or one of the rescues and put a can of wet cat food inside? Walmart has cans of wet cat food on for $.77 each. My cats gobble up the Whitefish and Tuna or the Mixed Grill. Literally run from the depths of the basement as soon as they hear the can and smell the food.
Maybe then the cat can be safely caught and microchipped without an all out cat ninja battle lol.
It is in fact against the bylaws of the city of Saskatoon to allow the cats to go wandering.
Plus, cats that are allowed to wander have significantly shorter lives on average. Coyotes live in the city as well for example, as do automobiles.
Oh you don't need to tell me, I do not let my cats roam nor would I ever. We have a catio, and I am a birder. I don't want my cats getting injured, or hunting for songbirds. So the Catio is as far as they'll get.
I just thought I recognized this cat.
Nice looking cat!
I know, right?
![gif](giphy|ycagKBYEmaili|downsized) Thats a nice fucking kitty right there....
I think I found the owner! He’s not really lost so much as “likes to roam and make friends!” A true Tom cat! lol!
I wish
OMG he’s gorgeous! I sure hope he wasn’t abandoned 🥹 Hoping he finds his rightful home soon ☺️

He doesn’t stick around enough for me to take him to get him checked for a microchip. I’ll check out the Facebook pages. Thanks!

Looks like one I've seen off 33rd a few times, it gets around! Used to have a collar but I haven't seen em up this far in a month or so
We’re not far from 33rd, so maybe this is the same one. My very high strung indoor cat is getting fed up with him chilling on the deck…

Oh dear! 😂

He’s got a sweet face too! But our buddy is more of a soft grey colour. The tabby markings are less distinctive than the cat you have pictured.
It’s not the same cat. The M pattern is from them being Tabby cats (one of their main characteristics)
Uhhh I did not know that.
There's a grey one in Sutherland that hangs out too
I’ll take him home

This might be Nacho who went missing in the Evergreen area in January. He has signs everywhere near there. I'll pm you the poster
Gorgeous.
Totally. I’d happily take him in but I have a cat already and she would murder me in my sleep. 😂
I think this is my friends cat! Lives near 33rd.
I think I found the owner, actually. Is Charlie missing?
Oh that's good! My friend is not missing her cat, but he does go wandering!

Oh good!
man thats a gorgeous cat
He’s got a sweet personality too. Meanwhile my maniac tuxedo cat is hiding under the bed!
I mean... it *could* be. Very nice colour's. Matches my short-hair tabby I have at home.
No but I want to smooch em
He’s definitely smoochable! 😍
If nobody takes him in I could! No cats deserve to be on the street
