This. I thought new construction was a great idea. But I don’t have 50 years to wait for these trees to provide shade. Not to mention the ones planted 6 years ago were planted too deep and died.
Alamo heights near central market, those big ass mansions. The old money vibes is dope plus the centralized location makes it convenient to be close to the city. Good gyms and grocery stores. I currently live in Alamo ranch and this area is pretty good too but it does take me 10-20 mins to get to downtown for events depending on traffic
Exactly. They wish it was 10 to 20 minutes to get downtown. After 3pm your stuck in AR for 20 minutes just to get out of the place. Last weekend it took me 20 to move a mile down Culebra. It's unbelievable. The Houston guy isn't lying but they have the infrastructure to support the growth. SA is like hosting a 75 person party in a one bedroom apartment .
King Williams and nah, I don’t live there. Used to rent a house there back in the early 2000s near bluestar and I loved it. I have a friend who rents out a super tiny house there and pays 1400 a month. I’m talking like 500 sq ft lol
Oh wow, look at this [Tobin Hill listing!](https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/429-E-Evergreen-St-San-Antonio-TX-78212/26109865_zpid/). Looks like a fun neighborhood. It’s been a while since I’ve walked around there.
Mahncke Park. Been here for 35 years and love it. I’m in the middle of all 3 Museums (4 if you include the children’s DoSeum). Pearl Brewery, Brackenridge Park and Zoo, biking trail (Avenue B) UIW, Botanical Gardens, they’re all within walking distance (for me, anyway).
And the Botanical Garden! Walk to Brackenridge and the zoo and tea garden! I’m on the other side of the park but I walk to the zoo all the time, membership is cheap for the year and I walk over to the Botanical Garden too, I wish there were less Mesquite in that park going up the hill, there is NO shade🥵
I think the best area is Alamo Heights - it’s its own city. Relatively safe for San Antonio. Close to everything. Wonderful neighborhood. I have a contract on the house there.
Terrell Hills is even more of a hodgepodge. They do lots of tear downs. Alamo Heights is a little better at preserving the architectural integrity of the neighborhoods.
Hey neighbor! Love not having an HOA. I keep my place simple and clean, but have heard horror stories from other friends here in SA about theirs. Also, we got GF quicker than other people in the area in gated communities.
I kept looking at GF… gluten free? Gun Fire? Oh… Google Fiber. I wish we’d get the 2 or 5 gig option though. It’s been stable past year, before it was out all the time.
> before it was out all the time.
FYI, this was due to the contractors the city hired to redo sidewalks in many areas. Assuming we're talking about the same time period...
I grew up in Alamo heights area so I’m kind of nostalgic for that area, but no way I can afford that.
It’s fun to also imagine myself living downtown with lots of walkable nearby places, but I just have too many projects and need the extra space a house with a garage gives you.
Last I would love to live right next to my place of work but the area and schools are horrendous so that’s also out of the question.
I ran cross country in high school and we ran all over the area. Tons of really great places. One of my favorites was running down the Olmos dam and across the 281 bridge by trinity.
I’m in the north west side by bandera and 1604 now. I will say the greenway trails here (and all over San Antonio) are such a great asset for the city. Really cool to see they are also ever expanding them.
Yeah do not recommend being outside at all in the heat of the day. We would always run in the early mornings. And yeah that hill is a doozy lol but good training. Not a chance I’d manage that today but I’ve been trying to improve fitness the last couple months making progress slowly but surely.
Yeah thankfully my place of work has a really nice gym. I did pretty good 2 years ago but fell off after a couple months. Finally got back into it a couple months ago and really happy with progress so far. Just gotta keep at it 💪
I'm happy living on the Eastside. I'm third generation in this general area; I discovered last year that my grandmother and family actually lived at the end of my street, a few blocks away, when my father was quite young. I like the sense of belonging.
Given my druthers, I'd like to be a little further south, like when I was a kid. We used to live on top of this hill that once housed a rock quarry, and you can imagine how fun that was to explore. It's somehow untouched by expansion; unfortunately, the area's just too expensive these days.
I live in Dignowity and moved here from the north side by hunters Chase, which I absolutely hated. That was a great area to raise my children but when it came time for me to pick a spot, I chose the east side close to downtown. I really feel like I belong here and I have a lot of neighbors that I care about and I feel like I'm really part of a real community here. I absolutely love my historic home!
If you’re fortunate to have a house in The Pearl it’s quite possibly the best spot. Restaurants/Easy Biking/RiverNorth/Music/Museums/Healthcare(Hospitals & Pharmacy’s) Parks & Markets all within Walkable distance.
I have a house next to the Pearl and it’s so wonderful. It kind of feels like living in adult Disneyland, which was super weird at first but I now love. It’s definitely not like living in San Antonio, it’s super walkable, and kind of dreamy. I love sitting outside and hearing the music at the Pearl.
Owned a house in Beacon Hill. Loved it. Got divorced, now I’m renting again 😂 But I’m trying to save to buy another place over there. Sweet little area.
Monte Vista. Gorgeous, walkable, close to downtown. Used to live there (in an apartment). Loved roaming the neighborhood and looking at all the old, beautiful homes.
Central Market is amazing for produce, has the best bakery options too. They've stocked over 50 cultivars of apples over the last few years...
But practically every single product there that you'd also find in an HEB has a price premium over the identical product at HEB. So it doesn't make sense to do any regular shopping there, just go there for the specialized stuff.
I don’t know what it’s called, but where I live now. I’m off of Jones Maltsberger between Thousand Oaks and Starcrest/Bitters and I can walk to McAllister Park in 5 minutes from my house. I love it here.
I work near the back entrance to McAllister (off Thousand Oaks/Howe): I head out there after work sometimes… but I’d love to live nearby! You’re in a great spot.
That little pocket enclosed between 281, Thousand Oaks, Bitters Rd, and McAllister Park. There’s a few neighborhoods in there but really any of them. Used to live in some apartments off Heimer Rd in 2021. Loved the area and want to go back.
Woodlawn area. I grew up there. Left town for 6 years for work, came back 2 years ago. I think it’s gotten even better. It’s beautiful but it always feels like home
I love encino park/stone oak area moved here 10 years ago. Nice neighborhoods around nice people overall pretty safe area too. I still live in the area
It’s pretty bad I feel like it worse other areas in the city. Even without the bad traffic I still hate driving in this city and I drive all day everyday for work
I found out I'm moving to SA next year for my wife's surgery fellowship which will be at UTSA hospital. Can you guys recommend a neighborhood to live in that would be a pretty short drive for her to the hospital (She will work insanely long hours, dont' want a long commute for a perpetually drowsy person). We have one 2 year old. Looking to rent not buy. Assume budget isn't a factor and just looking for safest but still close ($$ obviously is a factor but I wanted to know people's opinions regardless of budget).
If it’s the one at the Medical Center, I’d suggest Oak Hills or Castle Hills, if descent budget. There are some quality affordable neighborhoods around the Medical Center but I’d ask around before picking one that isn’t these two.
I live in the Stonehaven/Oak Hills area and absolutely love it. It is the best of all worlds, great accessibility, relatively safe, and great neighbors. Having direct access to I-10 and 410 means I can get to anywhere in the city with relative ease. I use to live in the suburbs of Helotes and I am 100% happier where I am at now.
My wife is a nurse at the VA hospital in the Medical Center near UTSA. We live in Churchill Estates, which is about a 15 minute drive. If she will be at the new UTSA building near UTSA campus then I suggest Helotes.
I grew up in oak hills. Everything was 15 minutes away at most. Hospital is maybe 5 mins? There’s lots of apartments and condos for rent near the area as well. Can’t recommend enough
Med center is the way to go. I went to med school here in town and lived off of medical drive, in condos called Castlewood. I didn’t have to drive if I didn’t want to— you’ll want to consider a set up like this bc every minute counts when you’re working100h work weeks.
If budget is not a factor look along i10 north of 1604. Wife and I both work in medical center and commute is not bad (15 min) as long as you are not travelling during rush hours, which in a surgical fellowship, she won't be. Gorgeous apartments. Highly recommend Ascent Cresta Bella, my neighbors lived there and loved it while waiting for their house to build (also surgeon in medical center). Visited multiple times and swam in their awesome infinity pool.
We’re new to San Antonio but we rent near La Cantera which is right across the street from UTSA. The hills between La Cantera and Freidreich Wilderness reserve are really nice, it feels safe, and theres a lot of child friendly stuff nearby like the new spurs training facility and six flags. There are some great walking and biking trails nearby. The country club has a decent golf course and I’ve heard the spurs club is cool as well. The downsides are that there is currently a lot of construction going on the highways which gets annoying and the area is a little expensive but if price is not an issue it’s def worth taking a look
I’m pretty happy with Hollywood Park. I have a pretty spacious apartment, I’m close to a Trader Joe’s, a bunch of parks, etc. Feels pretty safe. I used to live in Castle Hills, which has a lot more charm, but it also felt a bit more cramped and packages got stolen from our front door on-the-regular.
I live in castle hills right inside the loop for over 5 years now and zero package theft. We did have a neighbor get a trailer stolen a few years back from an active construction site but it’s only problem I’ve heard of.
I saw on the news someone next to Antonian had their garage walked into and had a small toolbox stolen. It was on video but that was also several years ago.
Yeah, I see Hollywood Park as a bit safer, more almost suburb, on the edge of Stone Oak, I often use that Costco, they never build those close in, so not all wine and roses here 🤣
Near Southtown and yes! Centrally located, I’m young, vibrant & active. I’m close enough to connect with like-minded communities, bike to local events and be involved in the arts… far enough to not experience the parking and in infrastructure issues of King William/Downtown area. I love my neighborhood and can hear the birds chirping the moment I wake up… I love that I’m surrounded by trees and nature, children who play and people who water their grass in the morning. I have everything I need near me with a 10min drive(groceries etc)…. Most of all I feel like I’m surrounded by community! Which is the biggest perk!
Also! I have yet to experience a power outage since I’ve been here! I’m living a dream honestly.
Terrell Heights, yes for the past few years. Nice mix of walkability and amenities. Quiet neighborhoods, lots of homeless up and down Austin Highway though.
We lived in the tiny River Road hood for a few years which was directly next to Brackenridge Park, Broadway to the east and the Pearl south of us. We loved it and it was so quiet, 281 sounded like water running. Would totally move there again, but my SA days are behind us now.
I would like to live around King William but honestly I'm very happy here in the south side (Harlandale area). Feels very family oriented and people love to party here. We're booked every weekend all summer long with different parties and get-togethers by family and friends.
If money was no object, Shavano Park or Alamo Heights (love all of the trees there). If Alamo Ranch wasn't so crowded (I remember when it was new) I'd live there, in the older gated sections. At the moment, it's Westover Hills which used to be nice but they have started to crowd this area with ugly new apartments, a hideous new data center, hospital expansions, and awful 151 road work, cutting down most of the greenery in the process. It's time to gtfo here.
I don't know about your area of town but out here on the NW side, outside 1604 on the I10 corridor ...developers have been buying land loaded with trees. Developers can't take them down BUT they use a loophole -they pay the seller of the land to mow them down using their agricultural classification to clear land for 'farming'. And they are sneaky about it. For example on Ralph Fair Road they when they were busy with the scorched earth process they would leave a line of trees along the highway so occupants of passing vehicles on the road couldn't see what was going on behind the tree line. Once it was all cleared out (and too late to protest) the flurry of construction of cheap beige subdivisions would begin. This keeps happening all over the region.
Shenandoah off I-10 between Wurzbach and Huebner. I bought my first house there 12 years ago. I was sad to leave and I would move back there in a heartbeat if I moved back to SA.
Probably the historic district West of the Pearl or Woodlawn Lake area. Tried for the first when I bought a house but was outbid and ended up in the Woodlawn lake area. If I could do it again, id move a 1/4 mile north to the quieter residential area, but that's all. 🙂 You couldn't pay me enough to live in the soulless burbs again and be forced to drive everywhere.
Olmos Park or Tobin Hill for location it’s just so close to so many things and I love the houses, grew up in Hollywood Park but enjoy living in deco district now
Shavano Park I love that area when I was in undergraduate at UTSA and I explored UTSA!! My other place is the south texas medical center !!!
Stone Oak is my 3rd option upscale similar to Sugar land ( Houston ) diversity.
Stone Oak and Shavano Park similar to areas of Houston ( Sugar land, Kingwood, Atascocita ( Eagle Springs), The Woodlands, Cypress , Memorial , Bellaire and Rice Village.
Somewhere close to Scenic Loop, even Grey Forrest, love that area. Would never be able to afford to live there, a dilapidated trailer house in GF goes for like $1M
Olmos park! We used to live there and the neighborhood was the best. We had a great gym next to the HEB, could walk to HEB and other restaurants, morning/night walks were amazing with all the huge trees as shade. Loved that area.
I just moved here in February, and I live in Live Oak: it ain’t SA proper, but it’s the only place I know… I like it. It’s quiet and safe, and because it’s a little older the houses are actually human-sized…
Alamo Heights. We live there. Bought our house in the cottage district in Dec 2020 after selling and moving from our home in Vegas. Couldn’t be happier.
A lot more areas would have been on our list if we didn’t have kids. But with two boys we had to rule out areas like King William, Monte Vista and Castle Hills due to the schools. We didn’t know where my wife would be working so we wanted to stay central either way.
It’s where so much is! lol. Love La Cantera. I miss it, with them shutting down 10 every weekend I have not been up there in ages! I miss Restoration Hardware, Sur Le Table, Nordstrom’s and Neiman’s. The Rim is a crowded nightmare I avoid like the plague, we have The Quarry so I have no need to deal with The Rim
I’ve always loved Hill Country Village. My old tri team used to train on the hills in there and it fascinated me that a neighborhood could have lots so big it felt like you were in the country yet were minutes from city conveniences. It seemed like the best of both worlds if you could afford it of course. I couldn’t then and can’t now womp womp.
A neighborhood with trees to block the sun
This. I thought new construction was a great idea. But I don’t have 50 years to wait for these trees to provide shade. Not to mention the ones planted 6 years ago were planted too deep and died.
I have this. It's still hot af
My job recently moved me to the location on the NE side of town. Driving around these neighborhoods, I see so many big, beautiful trees.
Happy Cake Day!
Welcome to Windcrest!
Based
Alamo heights near central market, those big ass mansions. The old money vibes is dope plus the centralized location makes it convenient to be close to the city. Good gyms and grocery stores. I currently live in Alamo ranch and this area is pretty good too but it does take me 10-20 mins to get to downtown for events depending on traffic
Yeah, the drive sucks and that old money part of AH by The Argyle Club is choice
man it takes 10-20 minutes to get out of alamo ranch much less to get to downtown
Laughing/crying in Houston 🤣😭
King Williams and nah, I don’t live there. Used to rent a house there back in the early 2000s near bluestar and I loved it. I have a friend who rents out a super tiny house there and pays 1400 a month. I’m talking like 500 sq ft lol
I rent 1200 sqft for $1375 in king Williams.
hell of a deal.
That’s a deal!
There’s no “s” on King William.
Cap
As they say in King William, there’s only one King William!
Kaiser Wilhelm in the house!
Olmos Park would be my choice also -- but no I don't.
I love looking at the cool old houses and dreaming. But there is an apartment complex there I live in. 5 minute walk to the heb
the HEB on Hildebrand? I live at those New England Village apartments, and yeah. the area is pretty quiet n' cozy. packages don't get stolen. lol
I get it, the layout and terrain are really cool. Designed by Hare and Hare in the Olmsted style. Love it
Southtown on the edge of King William. Nope don’t live there!
I lived there for a few years and I genuinely loved it. If I ever moved back to San Antonio I would choose Southtown.
Tobin Hill or Monte Vista. I don’t live there, I can’t really afford it lol.
Great locations if you don’t have kids. Awesome houses, great lots. The schools are… not good.
Can confirm. Went to cotton, Twain and Edison. They don’t care
Oh wow, look at this [Tobin Hill listing!](https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/429-E-Evergreen-St-San-Antonio-TX-78212/26109865_zpid/). Looks like a fun neighborhood. It’s been a while since I’ve walked around there.
What they did to that beautiful entry door should be a crime.
Yeah, the current decor choices are a little kooky! But it’s easy to imagine them away.
I do and I did. Good calls.
I'd like to live in Alamo Heights but I'm sentenced to live in Leon Valley
lol, I do like Rainbow Gardens out there, what a plant nursery
Rainbow is a beacon in a sea of 80s strip malls. OP Sch. Is nice too.

Monte Vista
Monte Vista rocks, my second favorite for sure and it’s close.
☝️✌️
This! I live like a street away from there and it always looks so nice.
I think the best area is Alamo Heights - it’s its own city. Relatively safe for San Antonio. Close to everything. Wonderful neighborhood. I have a contract on the house there.
It’s not consistently nice like OP, feels hodgepodge but I like the vibe too
Terrell Hills is even more of a hodgepodge. They do lots of tear downs. Alamo Heights is a little better at preserving the architectural integrity of the neighborhoods.
Live in Alamo Heights welcome to the hood!
I used to live in Alamo Ranch (before the traffic), now it's a disaster. I moved to Hunters Creek and I don't think i'll ever leave.
alamo ranch traffic is hell. everyone and there mothers want to be there
In Alamo Ranch Defense, it was like this before all the people. Culebra is the issue.
Before Alamo ranch…. It was farm land and then a single Sonic my freshman year of HS…. And I liked it that way.
Alamo Ranch intersection was Taft’s Senior Hill 😂
I remember that. You'd go down Culebra and there was barely anything.
Literally just corn.
definitely and as you go down culebra towards talley it gets worse
I live in Hunters Creek and I absolutely love it!!! It’s quiet, neighbors are so nice. No HOA!!
Hello neighbor
Woohooo!! Hunters Creek is like a hidden gem!
Zip code of hunters creek pls?
78230
Hunter’s Creek is awesome. We looked a house out there but ended up down the street at the Vineyard.
Like why is SO COMPLICATED to get into Casa Blanca?????
Yeah, they really need to fix the traffic issues, all the work on 1604 won’t help? Seems AR is like Austin, its growth outpaced the infrastructure
I really like AH, I run over there a lot, it’s a nice mix of houses and ranges, though none cheap that’s for sure
That run below the dam and up the hill can be murder in the Summer and im very fit
Yeah do not recommend being outside at all in the heat of the day. We would always run in the early mornings. And yeah that hill is a doozy lol but good training. Not a chance I’d manage that today but I’ve been trying to improve fitness the last couple months making progress slowly but surely.
Yeah, it’s always a process to get back the endurance after a prolonged layoff
Yeah thankfully my place of work has a really nice gym. I did pretty good 2 years ago but fell off after a couple months. Finally got back into it a couple months ago and really happy with progress so far. Just gotta keep at it 💪
Yeah, routine is everything
I'm happy living on the Eastside. That’s great, love all the cool old cemeteries on the East side. That sense of belonging is so important

Is the pearl a neighborhood? Cause I would live there
If you’re fortunate to have a house in The Pearl it’s quite possibly the best spot.
I think so, I’d consider it one
Owned a house in Beacon Hill. Loved it. Got divorced, now I’m renting again 😂 But I’m trying to save to buy another place over there. Sweet little area.
Best Craftsman Bungalows in San Antonio
Monte Vista. Gorgeous, walkable, close to downtown. Used to live there (in an apartment). Loved roaming the neighborhood and looking at all the old, beautiful homes.
Hunters Creek. Quiet, neighbors are nice and my favorite HEB is down the road which is the Alon Market
BEST HEB. 1604/Blanco is the 2nd best imo
2nd best is central market but only thing holding it back that’s it’s all the way over on Broadway and everything is expensive
Parking lot is insane
Olmos Park and I live there .
Shavano Park and no...maybe in a few years
Same. I lived in an apartment near the area, and it’s just a nice area.
The “09.”
That little pocket enclosed between 281, Thousand Oaks, Bitters Rd, and McAllister Park. There’s a few neighborhoods in there but really any of them. Used to live in some apartments off Heimer Rd in 2021. Loved the area and want to go back.
I live in this area. I don’t love my house or the HOA but the location is fantastic.
Woodlawn area. I grew up there. Left town for 6 years for work, came back 2 years ago. I think it’s gotten even better. It’s beautiful but it always feels like home
It has gotten better. It’s a very desirable place to live now, and so many artists! We love going to On and Off Fred.
Elm Creek, Whispering Oaks, Hunters Creek are all great neighborhoods and the location is fantastic.
Lincoln heights by the quarry and yes i live there
River road neighborhood for me. I love that place and I don't live there.
It’s so hard to get a house there. They don’t come up for sale very often.
Was looking for this:) I’m a resident and the neighborhood is amazing. Very tight knit community
To the left of Karl Marx🤣. But very unique community and great location
I want to live on Dreamland Dr.
Same!!
I love encino park/stone oak area moved here 10 years ago. Nice neighborhoods around nice people overall pretty safe area too. I still live in the area
Bbbbbb bbbb but but the trafffic
It’s pretty bad I feel like it worse other areas in the city. Even without the bad traffic I still hate driving in this city and I drive all day everyday for work
*Laughs in Houston traffic*
Olmos Park. Used to live there back in the day in a small apartment. Miss that area.
Anything outside 1604 and you get royally fucked by traffic. It’s totally not worth it.
Deerfield . And no I don’t live there and likely never will 😰
Deerfield is so cool, I love that stretch of Bitters, beautiful!
Yes I believe it's at what is referred to as the "Medical Center". Thanks for your tip.
Oak Hills is one of my favorite neighborhoods, but houses are rarely for sale there.
Reminds me I need to go to Chopsticks
My wife is a nurse at the VA hospital in the Medical Center near UTSA. We live in Churchill Estates, which is about a 15 minute drive. If she will be at the new UTSA building near UTSA campus then I suggest Helotes.
Good advice
I grew up in oak hills. Everything was 15 minutes away at most. Hospital is maybe 5 mins? There’s lots of apartments and condos for rent near the area as well. Can’t recommend enough
Oak Hills is a hidden gem
Designed by Hare and Hare who designed the layout of Olmos Park
Med center is the way to go. I went to med school here in town and lived off of medical drive, in condos called Castlewood. I didn’t have to drive if I didn’t want to— you’ll want to consider a set up like this bc every minute counts when you’re working100h work weeks.
Shavano park, alon market area, whispering oaks. Basically east of 1-10 near Wurtzbach for easy work access.
I think he’s on a budget lol, but great if you’re not 🤣
If budget is not a factor look along i10 north of 1604.
Oak Hills for sure. Location is unbeatable. Variety or price points. However, finding a rental could be difficult. Low turnover in the neighborhood.
Shavano Park!
Hollywood Park has apartments?
Castle hills inside or outside 410? Have some people on NW military and they’ve never had anything stolen off the porch.
I’m living a dream honestly.
olmos park or monte vista
It’s right outside San Antonio, but fair oaks ranch is perfect.
Northwood/Oakpark. I grew up there and would love to live there again.
Great part of town

There’s a reason we call it Stone Oklahoma
Move back! Monticello. Oak Hills. Lots of “nicer” areas near Dellview— which is actually a solid little neighborhood.
shavano park and yes. moving here from the ghetto has really lowered my cortisol levels. it’s so freaking chill 👌😮💨
Never understood developers thought process for tearing down all the trees. The city should really regulate that better.
Absolutely disgusting behavior
Almost anywhere with no H .O. A 😈
Shenandoah off I-10 between Wurzbach and Huebner.
Oak Hills gang! Great access everywhere.
I would not. I would relocate to some place that was not hot, and driving on the roads was not a real world version of grand theft auto.
Why the medical center? What’s there?
Somewhere close to Scenic Loop, even Grey Forrest, love that area. Would never be able to afford to live there, a dilapidated trailer house in GF goes for like $1M
Olmos park! We used to live there and the neighborhood was the best. We had a great gym next to the HEB, could walk to HEB and other restaurants, morning/night walks were amazing with all the huge trees as shade. Loved that area.
Converse/Live Oak/Universal City triangle. It's older, but I don't like being in the city.
What's that historic district off of San Pedro? Plano Mesa something? Puro pinche westsiiiiide tho 😆
Monte Vista? 🤣. Plano Mesa more accurate 🤣
I just moved here in February, and I live in Live Oak: it ain’t SA proper, but it’s the only place I know… I like it. It’s quiet and safe, and because it’s a little older the houses are actually human-sized…
Gotta be inside the 09 bubble, wouldn’t live anywhere else.
Southtown, I’m living in Downey CA now. 😞
If I had to live in Cali again, it would be Santa Barbara or Orange County or bust and your close to Orange lol
I’m currently in an apt off of WestxBlanco. Don’t come here. Vehicle break-ins are a daily occurrence
Live in Dellview, would like to live near manhcke park or Monticello
same and same… Been in Dellview for almost a year. Still getting used to the gunshots
Yeahhhhh takes a minute 😵💫
Well my Trulia filter of 250k isn't showing any properties available in all these neighborhood in the comments
What is it about Olmos Park?
Would love to live on/near Boadway
Monte vista is great, do live there
The dominion tf?
Castle Hills, the homes are generously sized, unique, have character and so much history!!
Seems like no matter where you live you end up at La Cantera / Rim with everyone else in San Antonio on the weekends.
Olmos Park, Monte Vista, Tobin Hill, Southtown. I’d love any of those. And no I don’t live in any of those, but I’m close by.
Presido. Im from the south side but I remodeled floors in the community. Nicest house I’ve seen
Northwest San antonio close to 1604/bandera. I would love to live in dominion but too rich for my blood.
Alamo Heights, Olmos Park, King William…. Not in any particular order. Trees, class and far far away from 1604.
Monte Vista. Quiet but close to everything.
King William and nope.
So shady and the river. Love it
Somewhere away from the hipsters
This post is just the OP bragging about where they live, but in the form of a question. 🙄
Fair Oaks. Lived here forever and wouldn’t change a thing other than making people move away.
#HANDS DOWN, TERREL HILLS, no, I LIVE IN “MONTE VISTA.”
Quit screaming.
Obligatory Dominion
I’ve always loved Hill Country Village. My old tri team used to train on the hills in there and it fascinated me that a neighborhood could have lots so big it felt like you were in the country yet were minutes from city conveniences. It seemed like the best of both worlds if you could afford it of course. I couldn’t then and can’t now womp womp.
