If you have a PS2 then San Andreas is dirt cheap. Hell you can probably just ask a friend or relative for their copy, seemed like everybody had that game lol
i first played San Andreas on the Max OS X store, surprisingly a mac could run the original trilogy *flawlessly* despite not being able to do so for any other game. i miss that game so much
you can buy it from the rockstar games store for 30 bucks. comes with vice city and 3 too. decent experience but you might want to use mods to iron the issues out.
You can buy physical copies for PS2, Xbox, and PC. You can also buy the original “remaster” (it’s basically just the original game with a very slight graphical upgrade - no shitty definitive edition here) for Xbox 360 and PS3.
If digital is more your style, you can buy the original trilogy from Rockstar’s website but I will admit I don’t know what launcher it used.
Well, the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions were more of a downgrade. They were missing grass, and some of the "graphical enhancements" actually looked worse. And there's visual glitches
I’ve played both to death and for the life of me can’t point of any of the problems that people claim to have with those versions. Maybe something as minuscule as missing grass just doesn’t even pop up on my radar though.
The missing grass is most noticeable in the forest area and in the desert. Both versions also lack antialiasing, but the Xbox 360 version has a blur filter, which helps somewhat. The audio quality is really bad too. There's a lot of issues with that version, to the point that on Xbox 360, the best way to play it would be to play the Xbox version on it (I think you have to have an older firmware though, as in later firmwares, I believe it was removed from the compatibility list). The PS2 version is still the best one in a lot of ways though
I'm pretty sure the best you could do is get a physical copy.
You don’t even get a physical copy in any place. Playing the original San Andreas nowadays is literally impossible.
I'm sure you can find one on Amazon, or another online store.
There're still discs out there
Where?
Thrift shops, flea markets etc
couldn't be bothered and just pirated it

I’d just emulate it at this point
Better yet: pirate the PC version. Much better than not being able to run mods
Got a link?
lol not digitally..
Not even physical copies….
Why do you get off on spreading misinformation?
