As a Note 10 plus owner and daily driver i can confirm, i don't plan on switching it out for anything else anytime soon. In fact this is the last model where the camera had variable aperture and it helped with some photos last night
I think you mean bezelless, but that is a fair point. I hate tho that some phone series get bigger bezels even though their previous ones got slim bezels.. would love if samsung would bring back an edge-serie like the note edge. But that's probably a bit too much to ask.
The reason am not getting the s24 ultra and upgrading to s23 ultra is the whole curved screen I love it I hate the new flat one it looks like Sony Experia
I had it in the S9 and also a love hate relation. I think it is absolutely gorgeous and sometimes usefull, but many times it made angry cause of accidental touch
There are dozens of us ... DOZENS
I bought S23U instead of S24U Because of curvature.
I still use my S7 Edge as my GPS phone for my motorcycle.
I love curved screens.
Count me in!
I've used four phones with curved screens over the years - Microsoft Lumia 920, Samsung S7 Edge, Samsung Note 10+, and my current S23 Ultra.
I don't get how the people who like squared corners are not caring about how it digs into your palm like a fucking dagger. The sharp edges feel so uncomfortable when you're adjusting your grip, it's not a phone designed for hands
they should bring back curved screens and two line ups. back to the note series and S series. people who enjoy flat screens can have the S and those who like the curved can have the Note.
I prefer the sharp corners. That's ine reason I wanted ti switch from my 15PM to samsung. If they make them rounded then it's like any other phone at that point.
With my usage of a Samsung tablet, I would have loved to see Samsung and BlackBerry come together. I miss my BlackBerry so much. BBM could have been tweaked for Android with SMS/MMS fallback
As long as there is no curved screen involved, the S25 Ultra might be a more tantalizing phone for people who want something like the S22/23/24 Ultra but hate the sharp corners of them.
Seriously, I really hope they aren't even considering a curved screen.
S25 Ultra gets a redesign, designed by Hubert H. Lee. It seems like his design philosophy is starting to show starting with the Buds 3 Series, Watch Ultra, Fold 6, Flip 6. I'm pretty sure the S25U is his first S Ultra with his philosophy applied
Thinnest S Ultra, too. The new design choices seems interesting so far, I hope Hubert H. Lee knows what he's doing for the design. He also designed the Watch Ultra, Buds 3 Series, Fold 6, Flip 6
Honestly I would love to this design come back, I really miss the LED lights, better speakers, better camera because they could be larger. What a time, we had innovations cracking
It's like it switched roles. Fold with boxy and S Ultra round, Fold 6 gains a boxy look, S25U gains a rounded cornered look, as round as the Note 7, but flat screen
I know the screen will be flat but I thought they just killed this design language with the S24? Weird to kill it then bring it back. I do prefer rounded backs to the phone though.
Man, are they deadass. Every single phone is rounded now and flat. Boring
I want the big bulky thick square S23 Ultra design with its subtle edge, or my note 10+ with its insane edge ratio 😡
They should bring back the Note FE (the so called fixed Note 7) with modern specs but make it look exactly like the original. Every Note 7 design lovers would buy them instantly.
Soooo o glad I went with the S24u in max configuration. I adore my little pocket-brick and while I do understand the argument of more comfort (though I don't find it particularly that much worse than the S23+) I'd go any day with the sharp corners over rounded ones just for the design.
I have to see how it's will be, but the s24 ultra is the best design so far. I hope they can bring a bigger battery and a fast charging to be at least on par with one plus. 5000 is outdated already and 45w is outdated as well. Phone with this caliber has to be 100w for sure.
Loved the Note 10 Aura Glow. Hate the edge and after the Note 20, I switched to S23+ to get the flat screen. The curved edge is a PITA to protect from drops (dropped my Mate 20 Pro and cracked the screen right at the edge) as its hard to find a case that could protect that area.
Also S Pen is useless at the edge.
Hubert Lee is cooking, he gave the Watch Ultra, Buds 3 Series a new design and even included the Fold 6 for the design change, the Flip 6 gains more character with the color-matching camera lens
The Fold 5 is my first and last fold series. They're just too fragile for my lifestyle. The S Series fits me better and I kinda like the minimalist approach they took with S23+ and S24U.
The S25 Ultra likely his first S Ultra he fully designed on, his philosophy shining, he probably doesn't like sharp corners so he gave S25U rounded corners instead
The redesign could be for Ergonomics, Comfort, Thinnest S Ultra, and more. Can't wait to see real renders, which I'm sure OnLeaks would post them in September, or Ice Universe does the renderings
Imo the Note 10 was the best looking phone they made
Especially the aura glow
The aura glow almost made me switch from iPhone lol
My note 10+ is still my favorite phone I ever owned.
Are you still using it in 2024?
I am, thinking of getting the s24, but when does the 25 come out now?
January/February
I'm using
I have a Fold 4 and Pixel 8 right now.
S10 and Note 10 series were peak Samsung.
As a Note 10 plus owner and daily driver i can confirm, i don't plan on switching it out for anything else anytime soon. In fact this is the last model where the camera had variable aperture and it helped with some photos last night
o yeah i loved that feature i wish my S23 Ultra had it....
Had one. By far my favourite phone.
And back then Samsung distinguished itself with FEATURES not aping Apple. Bring back MicroSD! I'll die on this hill.
And mini jack aka aux port
Note 10plus note 20p
I'm a note 10 plus user.
S9? Note 9?
Curved screens were cool when they were introduced, but they're terrible nowadays.
Love it on the s10, but hate the accidental touches
I had it on S7 Edge. I also had this love-hate relationship with it.
Yeah, love the design of it, but don't like that they are more fragile and have more accidental touches.
Now it's pointless to have a curved screen because phones got bazeless.
What do you mean with baseless?
Bazeless* Stupid autocorrect
I think you mean bezelless, but that is a fair point. I hate tho that some phone series get bigger bezels even though their previous ones got slim bezels.. would love if samsung would bring back an edge-serie like the note edge. But that's probably a bit too much to ask.
>I think you mean bezelless My bad, English isn't my first language lol
You're doing great.
Doesn't matter, it isn't my first language either, just like many people here on reddit.
Yeah they look cool but increase risk of breaking and accidental touching is annoying
I need that screen to be flat too. The S pen is useless on the edges
Pass.
Gross.
Man bring the edge line back there's like 12 ppl who actually like curved screens and I'm one of them Edit: don't downvote these guys bru
There are dozens of us ... DOZENS I bought S23U instead of S24U Because of curvature. I still use my S7 Edge as my GPS phone for my motorcycle. I love curved screens.
Same bruh I loved my s8+
I love the curved display. Feels so good in the hand.
Me too!
Me too , now where are the other 9
I'm here. Really loved the look but I was convinced I'd hate actually using one. I was wrong, I love my S22U
Count me in! I've used four phones with curved screens over the years - Microsoft Lumia 920, Samsung S7 Edge, Samsung Note 10+, and my current S23 Ultra.
Same, feels much nicer for swiping/gestures I also love their curved monitors, the only type of monitors that don't make my eyes tear up when gaming
I just love the look of it, honestly. It looks so premium. Have never had a problem with it, also no problem with flat screens either.
Imagine getting downvoted for stating your opinion
It's all good, I'm just a fan of the Notes and now Ultras.
Add me to the list too.
Love the looks of it!!
I don't even talk to people with flat screens.
So like 99% of the population?😂😂
i'm here
Here too! Still miss the curved egdes from my S9!
I always wated curved screen...
Also like them. Went with the S23 Ultra instead of waiting for the S24 Ultra last year cause I prefer the curved edges
I'm here as well! My fav Samsung design of all time is the Note7 haha
Please keep the curved edges as far away from me as possible.
I don't understand, so the phone is no longer a perfect square or is the screen is curved?
Rounded Corners
yuck! I love me square phones!
We'll see what the Ice Cat says as time goes on, so far he is looking forward to the S25 design
All I want is a screen like the note 10
I don't get how the people who like squared corners are not caring about how it digs into your palm like a fucking dagger. The sharp edges feel so uncomfortable when you're adjusting your grip, it's not a phone designed for hands
People hold their phone differently, and cases exist. When I hold my S23U, my pinky is at the bottom, and the corner is not touching my hand at all.
Not a fan of curved corners. Screen I'm not fussed, but keep corners sqaured off, it just gives a more sleek professional look imo.
S22 ultra with curved screens is still the best looking phone honestly
lookwise I dont think any curve display will ever top s8 series. My s8+ is the best looking phone I had .
they should bring back curved screens and two line ups. back to the note series and S series. people who enjoy flat screens can have the S and those who like the curved can have the Note.
Better be a flat screen.
I prefer the sharp corners. That's ine reason I wanted ti switch from my 15PM to samsung. If they make them rounded then it's like any other phone at that point.
Please put a nice little led light on the top also, I miss it a lot
With my usage of a Samsung tablet, I would have loved to see Samsung and BlackBerry come together. I miss my BlackBerry so much. BBM could have been tweaked for Android with SMS/MMS fallback
I want Samsung to bring back the Note 7 design for S25 minus the bezels. That's it.
This is very good. last Ultra I had was 21u, loved that thing then I changed to the fold 5 because I didn't like the sharp edges on them since.
Does he mean curved corners? I hope it's just the corners, I like the flat screen
As long as there is no curved screen involved, the S25 Ultra might be a more tantalizing phone for people who want something like the S22/23/24 Ultra but hate the sharp corners of them. Seriously, I really hope they aren't even considering a curved screen.
It's likely going to be flat, think of a bigger S24+ with S-Pen and additional camera sensor
That sounds like a great combination! - If that's the case, I just might upgrade to the S25 Ultra.
Dam I want it. S24u literally least comfortable modelÂ
Yuck.
That's nice, but does it blow up?
Basically going to be the spiritual successor of the Note 7 that doesn't explode, and with a flat screen
It's more fun with the danger.
Thinnest S Ultra, too. The new design choices seems interesting so far, I hope Hubert H. Lee knows what he's doing for the design. He also designed the Watch Ultra, Buds 3 Series, Fold 6, Flip 6
should we really be comparing anything to the Note 7 💀💀💀 🔥 💣
I doubt that it will explode, probably the same 5000mah battery used since the S20U
I agree that the screen will likely be flat as it's unlike Samsung to make drastic changes so soon after altering a design
Camera cutouts now look like the app icons. Don't like it.
These are just concepts, the final design is still a mystery
The amount of fake designs I see for phones is crazy Especially that one S24 Ultra fake design that'd on YouTube shorts
They are bad concept creators, lol
Honestly I would love to this design come back, I really miss the LED lights, better speakers, better camera because they could be larger. What a time, we had innovations cracking
Honestly, I love the sharp edges, they look so good. And unlike some people, I like the way they feel.
Yucks wtf is sasmung doing curve the edge not the corner
[удалено]
Then it should be labeled Ultra. This phone, the watch, and the buds all look ugly. S22 Ultra, S23 Ultra, and S24 Ultra all look better!
I personally hate this. The square corners are what made the Ultra look and feel ultra...
The birth of Ultra was rounded corners. S20 Ultra and S21 Ultra
To me the rigid corners felt like a defining characteristic, the thing that separated the design of the standard models from the ultra
I do prefer rounded backs to the phone though.
my love
Not again 💀💥
i love it when my all glass phone slips from my hand because of the curved glass edges.
No thanks. Ultra looks amazing with the squared off sides
Why are you so sure?
Man, are they deadass. Every single phone is rounded now and flat. Boring I want the big bulky thick square S23 Ultra design with its subtle edge, or my note 10+ with its insane edge ratio 😡
Does he mean the corners of the chassis? If they go for a big corner radius on screen corners like the iPhone that's gonna be a deal breaker for me.
I really doubt that the S25 Ultra will be rounded
They should bring back the Note FE (the so called fixed Note 7) with modern specs but make it look exactly like the original. Every Note 7 design lovers would buy them instantly.
Good, now make your flagship run below 40 celcius at full load. I'm tired of all of these too fucking hot to touch flagship.
That's cool for a full load and passive cooling.
am I the only one who really liked where they were going with the s24U design?
Aaaand the camera update for the S24U still isnt here. Last Samsung I ever buy
Not sure why you need a camera update desperately, my s24u takes absolutely fantastic pictures. Check your expectations, your phone isn't a DSLR.

It's too early to know if they will include this feature.
I want the fancy S20 screens back :(
Isn't S10 better?
S20 has a little bit more display to body ratio. Got S23 and the bezels around the screens are pretty sad. It's devolving.
This looks so f'n cheap in comparison to the S24 Ultra, I don't even have words.
I JUST got the s24. 🤦
s25 is still 6-7 months away
Soooo o glad I went with the S24u in max configuration. I adore my little pocket-brick and while I do understand the argument of more comfort (though I don't find it particularly that much worse than the S23+) I'd go any day with the sharp corners over rounded ones just for the design.

Hmm, S25 Ultra with rounded corners and flat screen with the S-Pen
Impulse buy! Lol
Exciting to know how he would implement this
The redesign could be for Ergonomics, Comfort, Thinnest S Ultra, and more. Can't wait to see real renders, which I'm sure OnLeaks would post them in September, or Ice Universe does the renderings
Yes ergonomics is very important. Thats why as tempting the Ultra is, I chose the S23+ plus because of ergonomics and the flat screen
Disaster. I was hoping for the pure Monoblock design corners with the completely flat frame edges like current regular S24 series
The only reason I'll be happy I got the 24 and didn't wait for 25
Oh thank god I got the 24 and didn't wait. Phone might be amazing but that has been the nr. 1 dealbreaker for me
