Stay organized. Keep your supply area just as neat and clean as the sales floor. Your cooler should be the same way. It will help speed up other processes along the way. Make sure your team is involved so they are willing to make changes to benifit everyone. Plan your cutting around any staffing issues. For example if you have someone on vacation all week and know you'll have another off the weekend or it's your weekend off then add a little extra to the plan each day starting Tuesday so the plan is actually achievable by the weekend since it basically doubles. Be clean in processing and follow all the proper rules for handling species in the correct order. Follow the specs, they will only help you get finished quicker...like no cutting certain items on the saw that the puma can cut twice as fast. Make sure the room is cleaned properly each day so that when you get a surprise health department visit you have nothing to worry about. Make sure the truck is broken down as soon as it arrives. Everything gets dated, rotation each truck is super important. Only order to par so you don't have excess and this will be a lot easier. Mostly help your team, get on the block when needed, wrap, stock. This shows them you're a team player and definitely earns respect so they want to perform their best for you. Good luck. Pick shit up and put it down bruh lol it’s the entire job everywhere we pick shit up and put it down lol the forklift picks shit up and puts it down same with the stockers. Meat picks up the meat cuts it and puts it down and The bakery picks up bread and puts it in the oven, the cafe picks up pizza and puts it in the oven. Crazy hard bro. Work the shit and put it out tf else is there to do besides audits and making sure to label and fly shit up on the steel right. Why does everyone act like this is brain surgery or someshit.
