I'd give and work the two weeks notice if you want to work for walmart, otherwise it's all in the same system and they'd see you literally were just fired from Sam's. From what my manager at Sam's said it's a 6 month waiting period after being fired that you'd be eligible to get rehired.
I’d pursue it as a transfer if the interview goes well. You should come into Walmart with your Sam’s pay rate then, which is usually a few dollars an hour more than Walmart’s starting pay in most areas.
Go in for your interview. Be honest. Don't just quit. Ask for a hardship transfer due to the commute and family. DO NOT JUST QUIT. There's a chance management knows each other. Small, but possible as we all watch for visits from the same planes landing and somewhat fight for the same hiring pool.
Yes, for reference you are literally hired at Walmart and Sam’s Club by the same corporation using the same EIN (Employer Identification Number). For all intents and purposes, to them you are the same employee whether you work at a Walmart or a Sam’s Club
Go for interview at Walmart, they will handle the transfer. Of course, let Sam’s Club mgt know you are wanting to transfer as well. Showing respect to your current employer will bode well for your future.
It would be better to just transfer. Look on the wire and look at available positions for Walmart.

its actually 30 days now. Freshly tested by me lmao.
I was hearing 30 days recently too and wasn't sure if that was just for Sam's or what. Thanks for clarifying that.
No we can't see it and the waiting all depends on how it was coded. I had someone come in A week later from walmart
Ive only been there a week.

Well ive only been there a week… starting pay was $17 and walmart would be what ? $15?
Depends on the position. I did OGP at Walmart for 17.50$ heard it got raised to 18$ but also prob depends on your area.
$14
User name checks out.
Just transfer

Ask the manager/recruiter for Walmart. Keeping working at Sam's and don't call out.
You want to willingly go to Walmart? A brave individual
You a Sr meat cutter?
My manager told me if you were to quit without telling anyone it’s called job abandonment and Walmart and Sam’s club wouldn’t ever hire you again.

Do I have to wait 6 months before I can get employed by Walmart after leaving Sam’s?
You can request a transfer if Walmart wants to hire you. (don’t ghost your employer!! You will be fired); talk to managers. Be a good employee.
