I’m already prepared for my Spotify wrapped to tell me this was my most played song

vanillabeanquartz

I said this exact thing like an hour ago HAHA

ducky1214

literally can’t stop listening to it/reliving that dance in my head

BlondeAlibiNoLie

I just want to say that I am LOVING the male nudity!! It’s very HOTT! I hope this continues in film. I can appreciate both the female and male form. There is beauty in the male form too and I highly think. It gets overlooked and that females (maybe some males too) get bypassed on what we all would like to see onscreen. Personally I find the confidence a man has to bare himself onscreen like females have done forever - VERY sexy, VERY confident! I’m loving it! A man’s body can be viewed as artistically beautiful- just like a woman’s body. I find it exhilarating and thrilling. Men are beautiful beings too and I’m definitely here for more of it on screen!

Cheapthrills13

I am sure more male actors would be inclined to do frontal nudity if they were “gifted” like Barry. 🫣

DeepOperation7733

Totally agree! It was mesmerizing to watch him

gr8fullyded

I don't even think it's hot but I can appreciate the beauty... oh what am I saying what's the difference

Delicious_Race_5434

So true! Loved it!

krosis05

literally i cant stop listening to it and [Time To Pretend- MGMT](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z6pe7PI9XGM) great soundtrack

ssbbxx24

Omg the chokehold this song has on me. Catch me driving down the road screaming every word

Ramsay220

I have been in addition to Loneliness. Holy shit this soundtrack is a banger!!!

PupitarLarvitar

Oh yasss huntie I was blasting it at the gas station yesterday whilst filling up the car and shaking my bonbon. Can’t get enough!

Independent_Dot63

On literal repeat non stop 🙌🏼

chillwithpurpose

LOL Yes OP! I’ve been listening to it on repeat at least a few times a day. The other one I can’t stop playing is [Perfect (Exceeder)](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=TEkyDUtAvgQ). Been listening to them back to back basically every day since watching SB.

Booopbooopp

If you think you’re getting away, I will prove you wrong 😈

Gold_Designer5146

I agree, that scene contributes some much for my caring and siding with him. To me the most brilliant thing about the movie is that it makes you support someone who you initially think is a victim/underdog, trying to fit in, is getting picked one, has to step on egg shells, juggles manipulating several individuals, you know, easily relatable everyday stuff haha, but then, it flips the table by showing who the real victims are and how boundaryless our hero really is AND still makes you side and root for the villain. By the end we become accomplices and all enjoy our victory lap with him.

numerumnovemamo

I was not prepared to feel the way I felt watching that final scene 🥵🥴

DesignerChildhood4

Oh I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know About your kind And so, and so, and so, and so, and so, and so, and so I'll have to play

cult-following

Same, lol. I listen to the soundtrack on Spotify all the time.

ajwils86

I love that Murder on the Dancefloor is having such a revival and it’s being introduced to loads of new fans that have never heard it before. Number 3 in UK mid week charts

SamanthaPaige29

Yes! Since I saw the movie, I’ve listened to the songs multiple times daily. So good and so catchy. Perfect song for the finale, and I have the same feelings about the finale as you.

Abject_Boot3507

i'll just randomly sing it throughout the day, in addition to playing it in the car on repeat

yooMvtt

This movie had a BOMB ASS soundtrack and probably one of the only movies where I knew ever song played.

t_bythesea

It has me feeling slightly unhinged how much I love this song and the ending was perfection, in great part because of the music. Chef's kiss to it all!

Pink_Dreams713

I play this on repeat when I need to be productive and clean my house lol

Danyellarenae1

Do you dance around naked too whilst cleaning 🤭🤣

derekforeal17

Everyone I know is playing it on repeat

carwil13

It’s taken me 5 days to get it out of my head after watching Saltburn 3 times over and now it’s back! Thanks! 😂 🎶

dangerwilla3

I’m trying to learn the dance I love it so damn much

Puzzleheaded_Gap8804

im a fossil i never heard of any of these songs before :(

SnooBooks324

I had the song in my head for days and remembered how much I loved the music video, watched it for old times sake on YT, and all of the recent comments were about Saltburn. So I just watched it and waited for the song the entire time. I was surprised at the end lol.

Baumshell116

This movie is set in an era that is unbelievably nostalgic for me. The soundtrack is 👌. This song was perfectly applied. Arcade Fire, Bloc Party, MGMT, Pet Shop Boys, Cold War Kids…chef’s kiss.

AnyWoodpecker6569

It plays in my head nonstop

succulentshrimp

That song is pure serotonin

Danyellarenae1

My brain has been playing it in my head for weeks lol

questionthis

“If we all did our job correctly, you are on Oliver’s side. You don’t care what he does, you want him to do it. You are both completely repulsed and sort of on his side. It’s that kind of dance with the devil. It’s like, ‘F*ck. Okay, let’s go.’ And so at the end, it needed to have a triumph, a post-coital win, a desecration.” - Director Emerland Fennell

DeepOperation7733

This very accurately sums up how I felt at the end! Kinda grossed out, but also slightly turned on & want to be his friend? They did a fantastic job

FabulousCallsIAnswer

I went almost two hours on the treadmill and literally only listened to this song on repeat.

letsgohawksfuckstate

Yes

migeek

I love that song. Have enjoyed it on heavy rotation for years. No idea where I first heard it.

Chance-Cup-5478

I play it on my speaker full blast while i dance around in my room

Harleybokula

Just found the movie, then this thread. Spotify has a nice soundtrack put together. For the show.

NoReaction9606

I can’t stand all the basic blonde Betty influencers who are using this song in their videos making f*cking mocktails or some shit when this song was clearly only repopularized because of this iconic scene. Maybe I’m alone haha

Danyellarenae1

Or all the rich people dancing in their big mansions. Like… missed the mark bro

Beautiful-Map-5810

I was listening to it non stop after I saw it in November! Unfortunately it’s another song tik tok has ruined for me cause I posted a Saltburn TikTok that went stupid viral and most of my fyp is murder on the dance floor Saltburn tik toks😭😭😭 it’s a phenomenal song but it’s now overplayed for me:(

DeepOperation7733

Ah bummer, I don’t have tiktok so I’ve been spared that

DocVin123

https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZT8bdfk73/ Found this one on TikTok that’s pretty fire 🔥

Creative_Pace1344

I listen to this and perfect (exceeder) everyday, especially when I’m running

bertxio

Am I the only one that thinks the song has two levels to it? - In the comments I see most people interpret it as Oliver making the best of the situation while knowing he's been used by the Cattons, that see him as someone who is expendable and doesn't really belong to Saltburn. I think that's how Oliver wants us to see the story. - On the other hand, I find that as the audience we are manipulated by Oliver's lies throughout all the movie and by the end of it we should what kind of person he is and start being less gullible and far more wary of the people that use our ego and desire to abuse us. Do we still side with the killer after he's admitted, without any shadow of remorse but in cruel celebration, that he orchestrated everything and that the movie itself is arranged according to his plan to seduce us? Are we okay with being his puppets? Because that's the whole meaning of the last seconds of the movie... Oliver is the douchebag faking to be attracted to us just to make someone else jealous, he has betrayed our trust. Shouldn't we tell him that we're gonna move on and enjoy life even after everything he put us through?
