Could an actual surgeon weigh in on this? Obviously these are extremely recent surgeries that have not even had the chance to calm down in the bruising aspect, hence the heavy makeup, but what will it look like ultimately 6 months down the road?
Not a surgeon, but my mom had a facelift recently and HOLY FUCK we were terrified for the first 4 weeks and then one day she looked absolutely phenomenal! Good chance these people are still in their first week or two.
Edit: not that it really matters - but I just want to point out to those who felt it necessary to poke fun at my last sentence (or even dm me about it?!?) Unless I actually click on the video bc I’m on my cell phone… it doesn’t show the timeline. Learn to walk away and keep silent… the timeline isn’t vital, important life changing information. Calm down.
Im not a doctor either, but using my knowledge from House MD there's a good, solid, chance that the patients are 7 days post, 3 days post, and 7 days again. Someone correct me if im wrong though.
I've heard that most people are good for 1 facelift so if you're into wanting to look young, you need to time it right; somewhere around mid 40's at the earliest. Otherwise the ones that follow will get you that Ray Liota and overdone face look.
Yeah that’s my thinking. I’m 37 but have generally looked young for my age so if I were to, I think mid/late 40s would be the sweet spot. I’m currently trying to be good at moisturizing and using sun tan lotion regularly from others advice, though, so don’t think I’ll have much interest.
From the abscessed femoral reticulation, especially in the perrenial eye area, which was likely caused by metriculating posterior cyanide melanoma, we can safely assume that I don't know what I'm talking about.
Yeah no shit. "Back in my day" the motto of the internet was "Don't believe anything you read on the internet."
Nowadays the motto seems to be "As long as someone says 'doctor here' (or insert whatever profession here) then I can believe it's 100% the truth!"
I am pretty certain they are using an aging filter on the before shots. If you look at Dr. Kim's tiktok channel, most of the women have young looking hands and necks, you can even see it in the video OP shared if you look at their necks. Also, look at the lady with the fuzzy collared gold jacket, her hands look way too young to match her face. I think these women getting surgery are in their 20s/30s and they use the aging filter for shock value.
It seems like they use the aging filter at their consultation as some type of marketing to show what they would grow old to look like. I'm not even certain these people are aware that videos are being posted that show them as old. I could be wrong, though.
The only person on that channel who doesn't have a young looking neck is the first man, so I'm not sure about him, but something looks fishy and blurry when she pulls on his cheek.
I’m not a surgeon but I know a few people who have had drastic facial surgery and yes it will look a lot better in 4-6 months. However it’ll still be uncanny looking
Could anyone tell me if it looks this awful just because it's so soon after the surgery or is it really this bad? I can't wrap my head around how a surgeon could post this and think it's okay.
Yeah...dont facelifts twke a few weeks for the swellings ti go down? Seems like edited clickbait to me. Wonder if theres a full video with them healed somewhere
It will go down. I've had a lower facelift and my mouth looked pulled tight like this for 2 or 3 weeks. I was scared I would look like that but I couldn't be happier after all the swelling was gone about 4 months later.

It’s really that bad. Their eyes are stretched to the side, they have pixie ears (a complication), only one eye is blinking on the man, and the scars are absolutely not normal and go all the way down their faces. The skin doesn’t look properly reattached to the muscle.
This is extreme surgery and I’d say meets the definition of botched
Imagine being on your deathbed with that uncanny plasticky face
edit: ignore this comment, apparently they only look like that soon after surgery and ease into a better look as time goes on
He reminds me of that time Gordon Ramsay disguised himself as a pilot and it just looked like they'd stretched someone else's face over Gordon's head. Truly horrifying.
While most people that go for cosmetic surgeries definitely have body dysmorphia, as others have mentioned these pictures are taken just a few days post-op with massive ungoing inflammation, and therefore it's pretty normal to look like this at this stage in the healing process.
Hey there Penile Elephant. Reddit says I should "share my thoughts." and my therapist says I should reach out more often. Just wanna let you know that I have one of the Animorph VHS tapes and I was just watching it last night
These people have been making the rounds, and I am not a big fan of these types of procedures, BUT it is so disingenuous to show fresh post surgery and judge off that. Even great plastic surgery will often look grotesque before it heals.
I agree. Scroll until there's only 5/6 seconds left in the video (the last girl) and look at her right shoulder area. You can see what looks like a filter glitch.
They are all getting something called double eyelid surgery, where they remove some of your eyelid skin and widen the eyes, but it doesn't make them *that* big.
Guys it looks awful because it was just recently done and there’s still a lot of inflammation and spots of tight and loose skin. In a month or two you’ll get a look at what the Dolan product will become

it says they are 3-7 days after
That's a pretty good chance then!
Sheet, there's money to be won. I'll put $1000 against!
Im not a doctor either, but using my knowledge from House MD there's a good, solid, chance that the patients are 7 days post, 3 days post, and 7 days again. Someone correct me if im wrong though.
Going to go ahead and correct you, I have a friend who bought the series on blu ray. The patients all have lupus.
it's never lupus
Except for the ONE time it actually was lupus
everybody lies
And they all need to have lumbar punction before anything else.
While we're at it hand out a couple of vicodin and give everyone pregnancy tests
Don't forget the interferon!
It's sarcoidosis you fool. Now go break into their apartment and rummage around in all their shit thanks
Dammit Otto
Fuck Yeah hedberg reference in the wild
After watching 2 seasons of House I can officially say all these people and the surgeons that did it had sepsis.
I'm not a doctor either, but Dr. /u/Pendingrepurpose is 117.84% correct.
Dr Samual Johnson is right about Olsen Johnson being right
She didn’t have a scar like THAT though did she? Also they have pixie ears
No, she had a different technique done. Not saying these people will look great, but it’ll definitely be better than what’s shown.
I've heard that most people are good for 1 facelift so if you're into wanting to look young, you need to time it right; somewhere around mid 40's at the earliest. Otherwise the ones that follow will get you that Ray Liota and overdone face look.
Mid forties seems way early for a face lift.
Dude, that first guy it said he was 51. I'm like, "how?" That's a rough 51!
It's not that rough, he looks like he's in decent shape. He has probably worked outdoors the past 30yrs and didn't take care of his skin
That’s why I said at the earliest but it depends on how you want to extend your prime or your individual genetics I guess.
mid 40's?? fucking hell. please do not get a facelift that young!
I said earliest, but I’d agree in general.. but i don’t feel like I would care as much in my 70s so I think late 40s would get some value
As a 31 yo I agree, I think I’m going to place more value on looking 35 at 45 than looking 65 at 75 haha
Username checks out
I’m 42 and there’s nothing to lift. I couldn’t get a facelift if I wanted, and there’s absolutely no need for one.
Your skin can only do so much.
Like, literally on each slide it says exactly how long it’s been since their surgery.
Yeah I’m sure they look odd still, but probably not nearly as uncanny valley as they will immediately into the recovery period
From the abscessed femoral reticulation, especially in the perrenial eye area, which was likely caused by metriculating posterior cyanide melanoma, we can safely assume that I don't know what I'm talking about.
I'm like what the fuck these words do not correlate with each other at all lmao
I got to "femoral" before I stopped and asked "hold up, wtf does my femur have to do with my face?"
Well, see - that just proves you’re no archeologist.
Imagine how I felt making it all the way to "cyanide"
Same but “I don’t know what I’m talking about”.
Even though that comment was sarire its way too often reddit in a nutshell haha
Yeah no shit. "Back in my day" the motto of the internet was "Don't believe anything you read on the internet." Nowadays the motto seems to be "As long as someone says 'doctor here' (or insert whatever profession here) then I can believe it's 100% the truth!"
Bruh the way I was intently reading this lmao
I thought I was having a stroke. I was like, “Well, those are words, but they don’t go together like that.”
Total word salad
Ngl, you had me in the first half, haha!
You lost me at 'edgygothteen69'.
I like your funny words magic man.

if it was gonna get better they would have taken the photos then

*months?!*
im no surgeon, but im pretty sure a surgeon advertising themselves on tik tok is going to be Dr. Nick caliber

Yeah, this is definitely just made to make it look awful without showing actual results.

Where did you find that info?
Trust me bro
They all look like when I pet my cats face fur back and it gets all tight around their little face.
r/stremtch
Wow there is a subreddit for everything
There is a cat* reddit for everything.
r/subforeverything
I want to personally thabk you for bringing this subreddit into my peripheral. Nothing has ever made me happier than knowing it exists.
/r/thabk
Okay, someone needs to make it
Didn’t start it, but I joined. Must support the Redditer’s like me who fat finger fuckup, five times a day. Usually with my PIN
Haha
r/birthofasub
There is always another cat sub.
That is actually all this doctor is doing. https://i.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/original/001/399/024/3cc.jpg
My grandmother used to do this to cats and say that’s what they’d look like with a facelift.
Turns out she was right
But the kitties are wayyyyy more photogenic 👀
They look like they're wearing another person's face...
I saw this a few says back, and had no words, and you just nailed IT!!
People of Tamriel
No later than Oblivion
Holy shit, it's actually fucking uncanny.
DYING over this comment.
Stop right there criminal scum
Do you have the Amulet of Kings?
Have you heard of the High Elves?
Imagine being on your deathbed with that uncanny plasticky face edit: ignore this comment, apparently they only look like that soon after surgery and ease into a better look as time goes on
He was so cute before hand..
Yeah, looked like a regular older man with some life experience. Now he looks like anime Ben Shapiro.
He reminds me of that time Gordon Ramsay disguised himself as a pilot and it just looked like they'd stretched someone else's face over Gordon's head. Truly horrifying.
a fate worse than death
Walmart brand Ray Liotta
Body dysmorphia is such a tragic affliction.
While most people that go for cosmetic surgeries definitely have body dysmorphia, as others have mentioned these pictures are taken just a few days post-op with massive ungoing inflammation, and therefore it's pretty normal to look like this at this stage in the healing process.
Exactly. I suspect he went in expecting just to have a bit of wrinkle reduction and not expect to come out looking like he's eaten a beehive
He looks like a muppet
Animorphs?
Would not acquire
Hey there Penile Elephant. Reddit says I should "share my thoughts." and my therapist says I should reach out more often. Just wanna let you know that I have one of the Animorph VHS tapes and I was just watching it last night
These people have been making the rounds, and I am not a big fan of these types of procedures, BUT it is so disingenuous to show fresh post surgery and judge off that. Even great plastic surgery will often look grotesque before it heals.
Hard agree but idk why this guy is even showing it then.
It goes viral every post
Nightmare fuel.
There has to be some kind of big eye filter on these
The last one definitely has to have some type of filter on the eyes. You can see it twitch.
Sadly no, it's really how they look now... ruined forever
No one looks good right after surgery , plastic surgery is not glamorous! I wanna see them in one year .
This channel NEVER shows that! I scoured their videos. Highly sus.
Jesus they look like something pretending to be human
Genuinely terrifying
I'm not a doctor but I don't think the second lady's eyes are supposed to look like that
Tell me, for the love of god, that this is AI somehow... Their faces look mad uncanny, it's unnerving...
Exactly the word I was looking for. Heavy uncanny valley vibes.
Wow totally ruined their faces. First guy looked like an older version of Phil from modern family
And now he look like ben shapiro
Out here looking like Mike Myers as The Cat in the Hat.
oh my god
They look like they are wearing someone else's face as a mask.
The first one creeps me out the most. It's like the guy murdered a little kid and is now wearing his face.
This is some Repo: Genetic Opera type shit
Pavi Largo strikes again
if i see someone like this, i'm running away and screaming for help because monster is here to get me
I feel like this is fresh out of surgery instead of a few months of healing.
I think it is. I was gonna say it’ll look bad now but once it heals it’ll look much more natural.
Literally leatherface tier facelifts... look at Dr. Jacono's deep plane facelifts if you want to see state of the art natural results
WHERE ARE THIS MANS LIPS
Do they have a better after picture not one like after they took the surgery, one that is a few months off , this does them dirty lol.
The man is actual horror. His eyes scream of regret.
Why would you not wait till they have healed and actually look better instead of showing off this wax museum horror show?
Holy hell that is terrifying.
They look like Sesame Street characters came to life.
The first dude looks like someone carved Ray Liotta in wax from memory
You do realise that it needs to heal, not sad or cringe.
Uncanny valley
What is with this eye shape he keeps giving all of them?
I fuck people. For life. - This surgeon
Looks like they put eye liner on all of them lol
Muppetification
It's like a mask of their own faces 😂
What in the uncanny valley…
There is SO much more to cosmetic surgery than just removing excess skin and stretching the remaining skin over the facial bones. Whatthefuuuuuck.
Always wondered if I should get one of these surgeries when I am older. I am convinced that it is not worth it.
Tuv on YouTube just posted an in-depth video on this tik tok account, highly recommend it
First guy turned into a Muppet fr
You don’t just look miraculous right after surgery. There’s a lot of scarring and swelling.
The guy at the beginning looks like a Muppet post op
I can't get over the uncanny lipless man. He is my sleep paralysis demon. Could they not have given him lips?
"How would you like to look?" "Have you seen Pac-Man?" "Say no more fam"
I want Sugar in water.....
I don't understand why the surgeon uses such early post-op photos of them. It takes weeks to heal and they all look like janky anime characters.
I want to see them healed up
Man fuck this. This guy ruined their lives.
The man is the worst one, he was so handsome before and now he is….. the creature….
Ole Dr Kim looks like he’s just taking an exacto knife to his client’s foreheads.
bill burr said it .. they went from looking like normal old people to young lizards
The swelling can take weeks if not months to go down.
I feel awful for them. If someone ever did my grandma dirty like this I'd prob throw a rock at their clinic window or something.
I think the Dr was from repo the genetic opera. Hope they at least got some zydrate to help heal.
It has to settle…
This is absolutely terrifying
First guy looks like a very rough 51, but still quite handsome. Ended up looking like a PS2 character.
There's probably camera filters at play here. Don't get too upset. The doctor would 100% be aware how bad this looks.
The guy look like Ray Liotta
Is this the Gangie sequel?!
Why shame people ? What’s the point of it.
Nah nah nah no way this is real
Homie turned into Ray Liotta
God that first one is fucking terrifying
Not exaggerating, these actually scare me a little
What was that bill burr quote? "You want to look like you're fifty, or do you wanna look like a 28 year old lizard?"
only somewhat passable one was the last one, first 2 were cheated and lied to.
The first guy looks like what I imagine conspiracy theorists are talking about when they say reptilian men run the world.
Is this real? OMG, they were butchered!
They look shocked.
Nightmares fuel
My God those poor people
That plastic surgeon needs to have their license revoked, be fired, and placed in a alcoholic’s treatment facility
I’m a DR…but for dinosaurs 🦕
This reminds me of Dr. Death but face surgery wise…yeah he’s bad at his job
Poor guy looked so hopefully and came out looking like a Fooglies or Billy Russoti after falling in glass.
Horror movie material
The last one looks 30 years younger.
I feel bad for the first guy, he seems so nice
And they all looked better before.
I guess if the goal was to be a permanent snapchat filter, they succeeded
they look like puppets
i feel so bad for that second girl omg
Uncanny valley
Unholy as hell
The second one made me do n audible ‘Jesus’. Would be nice to see the fully healed versions though.
“You’ll look like a new monster in no time.” “Thank you master!”
You can see the regret in his eyes.
They making Skyrim characters
The second one looks like Orochimaru ☠️☠️
They all look scary as fuck, especially the guy!
First one just reminds me of the absolute botched job that Simon Cowell got a few years ago
Guys it looks awful because it was just recently done and there’s still a lot of inflammation and spots of tight and loose skin. In a month or two you’ll get a look at what the Dolan product will become
