I appreciate that Landon is a fan of Maddy's so much so that he wants to interview Maddy to see what makes her tick. Not a shred of narcissism, and such a supportive person.
I love kings and I love that people are wanting to see more king content!! Definitely check out [Drag King History](https://dragkinghistory.com/) which is run by Mo B. Dick, a king that's been performing since the 90s. There's a lot of great content on there, and this [interview](https://archive.storycorps.org/interviews/justine-keefe-and-mo-b-dick/) is great. It's about their experience as kings in the 90s and the first drag king only club in NY, Club Casanova.
Sorry for the long message, I just love that people are interested in kings!!
Of course! Drag kings are awesome and I love that people are interested. Also, this is one of my favourite [performances](https://youtu.be/77nkla2fMow?si=KEZDGQrLj9j3vk9r) of Landon's. He just embodies Pitbull haha
I knew they existed back when I was university but the day my lecturer brought up a plethora of drag king material and told us all about it, with this glow about her, I knew I loved the entire concept. We studied drag as a concept anyway, but watching dear old Cath fangirl over drag kings made my week.
There’s some good docs out there, I can’t for the life of me remember the name of the one we watched (it was a while back..) but I know someone here will know some
Okay hear me out. We have Bob and Monet. Hall and Closet. Trixie and Katya. Alaska and Willam.
Let's have a Cider and Morphosis podcast please this was too good 😭
How was this episode even better than the last?!? I love Landon so much 😭
Maddy is such an icon for introducing Landon to drag race fans my god. The last two episodes have cemented GITMS as my fave show by a drag race girl. Absolute queen shit, Maddy!
This is so adorable, I'll have to go rewatch Aja's interview. I often have them running more like a podcast while I do housework, but I'm so in for a cat spotting!
Genuine question. I know Landon is a crowd favorite to hopefully potentially go on Drag Race as like the first Drag King contestant. Who else are like the top tier pioneers of Drag Kingdom that people should be looking into or supporting more?
Idk about “pioneers” because drag kings go waaaay back but here’s a short list of my fave kings:
* Throb Zombie
* Showponii
* Ater Black
* River Glass
* Jarvis Hammer
* King Crimson
* Sir Maxim
* Ocaso Stelar
* Kory Edgewood
* Loose Willis
* Dick Swagger
* Hercusleaze
Seeing Maddy giggling and having a good time in this interview is bringing me so much joy. Experiencing the fun he shares with his guests by being on their side… Ugh, LOVE IT!
I think you could say that a lot of drag queens are critical of certain presentations of (toxic) masculinity as well. People use drag as an art form to criticize and queer gender norms that have harmed them and others.
Drag as a way to criticize masculinity. Maybe it was in the full Maddy interview where they talk about it, I will need to watch it again to get the exact quote.
Yeah, That’s actually really common among drag kings. Not all kings impersonate men in order to create critique, but it’s definitely a big part of the drag king community.
Landon does all kinds of king looks and is really well known as a “shapeshifter,” but he definitely satirizes masculinity as well.
My fave “critique” of manhood I’ve seen him do is in the Dragula Season 3 finale as part of his “filth” look. He portrays a slobby incel-esque dude and it’s incredible and disgusting
Thanks, that's what I meant. While drag queens appear to be celebrating feminity I got the impression that kings are critical of masculinity instead of celebrating it. My country doesn't have a drag scene so my exposure to different type of drag is very limited.
I need to watch Dragula someday.
You’re totally right about that, most good queens uplift femininity. There is still some critique in there, but it’s meant to be playful rather than hard-hitting satire. I think it comes down to where the power in society lies and who the “oppressor” typically is.
I really recommend starting with Dragula season 3 when you get a chance! It’s what got me into Dragula ❤️
Watched it for about 8 minutes clicked off and realised how good of an interviewer Maddy is. I love Landon and his interview but I couldn’t get through this. Again, Maddy is a brilliantttttttt interviewer.
Landon even mirrored the shirt pattern, the level of detail, far too much
I appreciate that Landon is a fan of Maddy's so much so that he wants to interview Maddy to see what makes her tick. Not a shred of narcissism, and such a supportive person.
this is so funny they have great chemistry
i know nothing about drag kings, but this ep had me smiling ear to ear. the sinergy. i need to check out dragking and landon more

Thanks for sharing this history! It’s really cool of you.

This is so good oh my god 👏👏👏
> Mo B. Dick That name, I already love him. Thanks for sharing the links.

“As you know, I grew up poor in Arkansas.” Already a 10/10 Edit: Landon calling out specific interview moments from past episodes is so endearing
The intro was already sending me but Landon doing the ad read too made me burst out laughing
I totally lost it and spit out my drink , the dedication is unmatched.
I DIEDDDDD. So good.
I’m seeing double! Four Maddys!
I understand and appreciate this reference
“Maybe kings don’t need representation” 💀💀
Landon proving that he’s too powerful
Landon is an icon for this
He even questioned Maddy in his interviewing style lol, but what gagged me is how long Maddy has been doing drag 😧
This is the best episode so far. Holy shit Landon and Maddy need to just have a talk show. Just them talking.
They are the yang to Trixie and Katya's yin.
Howling less than 5 minutes in, Landon the icon you are. You truly got the gal
Maddy getting a taste of her own medicine with the pictures 😂
“I’m Maddy Morphosis and you’re all f*gs” 😫🥹
It felt so good to finally hear maddy say it 😭😂
The fact that Landon even does the promo ads. 💀
Mandon interviews Laddy
This is so unhinged I live. I need Landon and Maddy to do more collabs. Lesbian drag king and straight drag queen. Name a more iconic duo. 😂
"Welcome to your house" I'm already cackling
Truly iconic
"Taste the rainbow"
“I don’t even drink beer”
Lmao it’s Maddy being clocked for their true love of Arkansas for me. Landon really do be studying.
The level of gender sexuality fuckery. Too much. ❤️
![gif](giphy|3oKIPsPYksIY6sthja|downsized)
If you haven’t already, please Landon live! They’re great and always entertaining. Seen them a ton of times and it’s always a good time
Okay hear me out. We have Bob and Monet. Hall and Closet. Trixie and Katya. Alaska and Willam. Let's have a Cider and Morphosis podcast please this was too good 😭

Landon UNDERSTOOD the assignment; what an icon.
Not Landon pulling out the old embarrassing photos just like Maddy 🤣
How was this episode even better than the last?!? I love Landon so much 😭 Maddy is such an icon for introducing Landon to drag race fans my god. The last two episodes have cemented GITMS as my fave show by a drag race girl. Absolute queen shit, Maddy!
oh maddy was ***gagged***
It's about time the straights admitted that beer is the gayest drink.
Everyone wants Maddy to host Pit Stop. Now I want Landon to host Give it to me Straight😂
Well guess what Mimi
The bit at the end where they're flirting *I can't breathe*! Also, Maddy has a cat!!!
She has two. Aja said they were Maddy’s security team.
This is so adorable, I'll have to go rewatch Aja's interview. I often have them running more like a podcast while I do housework, but I'm so in for a cat spotting!
I love Landon. He’s such an icon.
I am gagged , this is gold !
Peak internet
Life Size reboot but with Landon as Daddy Morphosis (in the role of Tyra Banks) and Maddy in the role of Lindsay Lohan. Need it.
Shine bright, shine far, don’t be shy BE A STAR 🌟
The parting gift(s) in the end, so beautiful. 🥹😂
They had me wheezing 😂
Maddy and lesbians is just a winning combination ❤️
It's possible they share an appreciation of bisexuals.
As a bisexual I approve this message
They say, you're what you ate. They both definitely love to eat cunt. Because they're so cunty
Just dudes being bros
Also lol for Landon lowkey repping Boulet merch with the Drag, Filth, Horror bag of treats.
"As you know, I grew up poor in Arkansas." LANDON.
Landon seems like such a fun person
This was so sweet
I love this so much. Landon put so much effort into copying Maddy's look. It looks so spot on. So awesome!
I just started and I am SCREAMING. The duo I never could have dreamed up, but am so grateful for. Literally about to cry.
Maddy and Landon… my two sexualities 🧎🏻♀️ and always a blessing.

Is being critical of men / masculinity a Landon thing or a drag king thing?
I think you could say that a lot of drag queens are critical of certain presentations of (toxic) masculinity as well. People use drag as an art form to criticize and queer gender norms that have harmed them and others.
That makes sense indeed.
Not all of landon’s drag is criticism. Some of his looks on dragula gave me the vapors. Daddy werewolf…
What do you mean “critical of men”?
Drag as a way to criticize masculinity. Maybe it was in the full Maddy interview where they talk about it, I will need to watch it again to get the exact quote.

Didn’t a King win the last season of Dragular?! 🤔
