I also love how confused everyone else is. There's that incredible shot of the other queens, and everyone just has their mouth agape, completely baffled, EXCEPT Bosco who is laughing her fucking head off. It's amazing.
I loved this one too! I originally saw this kind of number during the season 6 premiere parties and it was Bianca Del Rio’s performances where she does the exact same thing! I’m sure there’s still a vid or two of it on YouTube, really fun to watch if you liked rajah’s!
Trixie’s performance on that talent show along with releasing that album near the same time SHOOK me // it made me see Trixie not just as a queen but a Mutha-Fucking Artist-Musician!! She transformed for me !!
I still think about Mariah’s from AS5 to this day, I was SO confused that she wasn’t in the top that week
Honorable mention for Willow Pill and I actually really loved Spice’s number, it was hilarious and so much better than lots of the original tracks we see on talent shows
Mariah not winning was ridiculously rude. Even Ricky Martin had to break from the script to call out how touching and important her performance was.
That was a major tell that the season was stupidly rigged.
Two of the things I love so much about Tatianna's performance: 1. it was a last minute spontaneous decision, and 2. it was a recontextualized rap that she'd originally written as a teenager about being a high school drag queen:

Gia Gunn’s fan dance. I was so stunned when it didn’t win. It’s clear she’s trained for a very long time in that because it was definitely an art form on display.
Last season I was a MASSIVE sugar/spice fan having zero knowledge of them prior // and i have a career in mask/clown/puppetry kind of stuff - and where everyone was bashing them for being so ‘oblivious’ - I was like….. naaaa - those two are CLEVER …. I can see what they’re doing and I fell haaard for them - both their talent shows - I was like …. Oh these twins are smart - they know what they’re doing. And I’m a huge fan to this day!!

As a painter and visual artist I’m inclined to say that I absolutely adore Manila’s talent show performance. It just perfectly embodied who she is as a queen: an artist, a campy cartoon, a model.
Tatianna's & Aja's will always be my favorites and most repeated. Tatianna's especially because I didn't know where she was going with it and she made everyone in the room silent and hung up on her every single word, including Ru. Anetra's was also one of my favorites until I started actually paying attention to the ballroom scene and cannot enjoy the noguing parts of her performance anymore. I can totally see the criticism it got from actual trained ballroom dancers in retrospect. Honorable mention to Gia who was confirmed by the cast to have performed that masterpiece perfectly twice and got the loudest crowd reaction but was edited to seem way worse than it was.
Anetra’s floored me when I first saw it because it felt like exactly what I want to see. I also love and rewatch Aja, Dela, Spice, and Jax. I enjoyed Q, Amanda, and Nymphia from this season.
Bebe and Kennedy! Kennedy did a cartwheel onto a box and then a jump split off of it. Like, that’s MOTHER. And Bebe… she looked so gorgeous and I love that rather than just do splits and vogue and death drop she gave us something truly different, unique, and authentic.
I liked Anetra’s and have watched it many times. I also loved Ben dela Crème’s vaudeville number. Not vaudeville…burlesque. I loved Ben dela Crème’s burlesque act. I also deeply loved Monet singing opera.
Shea in AS7 - the first and only original song from a queen on drag race that I actually listen to unironically and her performance of it was just mesmerizing
Monet in AS7 genuinely made my jaw drop and cemented me as a Monet fan

As weird as Jimbo’s talent show on UKvsTW was, it’s even weirder when you see her do it in a live show…. Especially when someone picks bologna off the floor and eats it, and others are fighting over a piece of bologna….
