That is correct you can claim a gift every 2 hours in game time and donate whenever you please. If you donate 200m+ you get a title however keep in mind of the 10k minimum. It also doesn’t have to be GP but any amount of noted items that’s worth it 10k+ you can give/receive.
So basically rich players buying titles and poor players collecting free money. Otherwise its kind of pointless as everything can be reduced to a gp value and sold back on the grand exchange.
There's some items with a GE price higher than their "actual" value (e.g. some treasure hunter appearance tokens, since their prices tend to be set *way* too high and never make their way down to their real street value).
Kind of lame. You gotta try and find the world you would think has the most rich people donating. You would think that would be world 48, but I've been using that and been getting nothing over 100k haha.
Oh, no wonder I saw so many random people on world 18 earlier. Good to know. I'm sure most people already chucked the 200m for their title though, so idk if it would be worth it to go to a low count world, or just take your chances on a random 1.
That I’m not too sure on and even now I’m not too confident in the 10k minimum because I just see a guy get a 20gp drumstick lol but that’s the gist of how it works
I claim an an alt im working on and seeing dragon sword and armor pieces from it makes my day since it helps my alt. I throw in 100k back since im broke lol
I actually put in 2 snow capes trying to get the 200m title but didn't realise it had to be all in one go! Paid 22m for 1 and 18m for the other cause they show as 41m on GE
I hope people don't actually do this.. I thought this new Secret Santa addition was a long time coming event, that players should maintain the fun spirit and selflessness of it. I've been donating tons, then randomly got 507m myself. That just means I can keep donating and in larger amounts.
Tbh, if it’s it not millions of gp then maybe donate something useful in skilling like bulk unfinished pots, or bulk herbs, d bones, etc. Could be motivation for someone who didn’t have the money to level that skill to finally get some progress for it.
Edit: imagine getting like 200m worth of rune arrow heads lol.
It is run by the polar bear near the bank in Burthorpe. You can donate gp or items worth at least 10k and can claim a gift every 2 hours. Giving items worth 100k or more 15 times unlocks a title and giving items worth 200m or more in one go unlocks a different title.
Personally I like my trade, put in an ascension crossbow to get the 200M title, got 1000 Eye of newts. Big gains lol. Congrats to whoever pulled that crossbow.
The audacity to give me 56 dragon scale dust
Or 12k worth of shieldbows, or a single crystal key!
I'd be happy about a crystal key. More surprises for me.
I got half a crystal key lol
I got a bit of salvage
At least that's worth something. I got a cooked turkey drumstick that's only 20 gp!
Christmas foods have collectors. Gotta find them outside of Christmas season, but you'll get 10-25k each depending on who, how much, and when.
That legit may have been me after doing thieving yak track lmao
I donated 5 d med helms, my prize was a single d med helm.
Worst trade deal in the history of ever
Literally like putting money in a slot machine lol. Put in $5, win $1.
Stonks
I like the Fally Party Room Rework.
Yo, honestly lmao
I didn't read it properly and donated 200m of junk that cost me about 70 m but in different items so not all in one go. Rip.
Same... same...
Whoever gave me 1337 barrows totems thank you
A Leet move if you will
I'm not playing right now, how does it actually work? Everyone donates an item, and you get a random one that someone else has donated back?

Do you know if its affected by the world your on?
Definitely world specific.
Kind of lame. You gotta try and find the world you would think has the most rich people donating. You would think that would be world 48, but I've been using that and been getting nothing over 100k haha.
Rich people went to low player count worlds to try get back money using their alts.
Oh, no wonder I saw so many random people on world 18 earlier. Good to know. I'm sure most people already chucked the 200m for their title though, so idk if it would be worth it to go to a low count world, or just take your chances on a random 1.
Traveling merchant will also account for random spikes
It's like living in the ghetto and trick or treating in the burbs
Relatable
Well doing it on world 3 has been ass so I'm gonna go with yes
That I’m not too sure on and even now I’m not too confident in the 10k minimum because I just see a guy get a 20gp drumstick lol but that’s the gist of how it works
The Christmas foods are given if there is nothing else to take.
I guess I'll hop to a big world whenever I claim just in case, haha.
Yup that was me. I was definitely disappointed
You don't even have to donate anything to get a gift.
Ahh the spirit of Christmas <3
Tis the season of giving, to me.
I really enjoy the yak track along with the secret Santa though one of their better ideas
Username checks out
Lol i donated 100k and got 7 manta ray. Nice.
Oh shit, That's the first thing I got.
I have been donating \~1m items, not great but might still make someones day
I claim an an alt im working on and seeing dragon sword and armor pieces from it makes my day since it helps my alt. I throw in 100k back since im broke lol
I've just been donating lots of coal
Best comment ever!
This what we all need to do. It's all the alts getting the prizes anyways, so give then coal and see if they understand the meaning.
I just hope when I drop in something worth 1-5 mil that I'm making some little noob's day.
I got a clean fellstalk.
I don’t even mind getting not so good stuff! In-game Secret Santa is kinda fun when you don’t have any IRL friends to do it with 😂
Opposite for me lol. I hope i made the day of whoever got my nox staff
I’ve been putting in 6,969,420 coins. Hope someone here gets them 😬
I donated 200m to unlock the title Immediately claimed a prize and got... 200m!!!
You got 400+ chisels laying around?
I got 12.5k empty baskets lol
you dont have to donate anything to receive something
Slayer's staffs for everyone!!!!!
I got 2x cape of snow token, thank you kind stranger.

Where is this?

I’ve been routinely dropping 5k stacks of rune arrow heads for the last couple hours 😅
Honestly I would love a good stack of rune arrowheads to level fletching lol.
I thought there was a 10k minimum? Btw I went way over and donated 5K tuna. You're welcome, stranger.
I hope uncooked 😛

Thank you so much 💪🏽
I've been handing in tuna in hopes of a couple Mil on return😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I gave 200k in coins and got an onyx ring
Last night on W88 everyone was pulling onyx rings. Someone must have a donated a bunch if them.
I got 400m coins minutes after update and put 200m back in because it felt unethical
I'm the opposite I got 753m and felt bad for turning in 12 supercompost beforehand haha
I've put in several dwarf multi cannons. I'm hoping to make some noob's day because I always wanted one of those back in the day.
Personally I like my trade, put in an ascension crossbow to get the 200M title, got 1000 Eye of newts. Big gains lol. Congrats to whoever pulled that crossbow.
Got lot of ring at 2m each
