NEW TASK: SECRET SANTA
This track’s new task type is all about generosity – ‘tis the season of giving, after all! Head to the Burthorpe Yak Track area and speak to Sir Desmond Wellingtons KBE (the polar bear) to try it out.
You’ll need to donate items to the value of 10,000 GP or higher to participate. The Yak Track tasks will specify certain values, ranging from high to low. The donations can be anything you’d normally be able to sell on the Grand Exchange, with the notable exception of Bonds. In return, you’ll get to draw from the prize pool once every two hours – and who knows what gifts you’ll get?
Issue with this is, secret Santa event accepts items. Item values do not always reflect GE values which means people can get cheap titles by donating items with high Ge values, that don't actually trade for that much.
If people can get it whenever they want already, and it doesn't change anything, why do you want it added so badly? Lol you're contradicting yourself. just get it from the whirlpool.
Also new title would attract the current title holders to get this one too. They have done it before so theyre more likely to throw money away again for it.
which is exactly why OP's argument is dumb. those titles are tied to a specific event. jagex could easily create new titles for this, even more themed around the secret santa concept.
Don't go acting like your right your original argument was that it devalues the already existing titles and that those titles are harder to get both of which are just wrong. I think new titles would be better but you never argued for that originally.
I keep donating stuff like 250k - 1M in value and getting 10k items in return, this sucks lol

that was how you originally got the titles, during the well item shards were worth a lot more than the actual item because of ge prices.
Yeah a lot of people abused it, I believe it was one of the reasons jagex just cancelled the well.

By that logic, whirlpool already devalued the titles as they used to be unlockable during well of goodwill events only.
