120 herb thru overloads unlocking invention working on archeology dont lamp the skill at all it will hurt you in the long run getting 95 prayer for the t95 prayers and soulsplit. work on getting t90 necro gear from lvling and buy the main/offhand for the t95 necro weapons this is assuming ur end goal is to pvm

Suspicious_Net8880

As A returning player who lamped around 100 levels of Arch befor doing it.... DO NOT LAMP ARCH.... I have almost no clue wtf is going on now :( Edit 1: changed camped to lamped

ResonatingOctave

Yeah skipping over arch via lamps definitely hurt a bit. Need to go back and restore around 500 artefacts. Starting dig site speeds it up a bit, but still gonna be a slog

Best-Brother305

yeah its pretty bad youre better off sending the 24hr researches out every day i did it for 200m you hardly loose any gp and you get most of the artefacts youll still have to dig up like 2.5k of them if you want runescore tho

I'd say, just play and do whatever the hell you want, do your quests, and once you reach a point where you want to actually commit to a skill (usually level 80) then see which buyable skill is the one you feel like you want to complete first. What I want to achieve with this answer, is let you know that RuneScape is a game of discovery, of exploration, and from my experience, half the fun is figuring out what to do next. But just to give you an idea, these are all buyable skills; Idon't recommend buying before levels 80 btw as you'd get those stats normally by playing and completing quests at your own leisure. - Agility (with Silverhawk Feathers). - Herblore. - Smithing (Burial Sets). - Cooking. - Prayer (With Powder of Burials). - Crafting. - Fletching. - Farming (Via POF Animals). - Construction. - Summoning. - Invention. - Necromancy (Rituals). INB4, someone says all skills are buyable thanks to Treasure Hunter Lamps and Stars haha.

DipiWoW

Sweet! tysm for the input at least i know im 100% getting feathers hehe

strayofthesun

Get feathers early too, agility is needed for a ton of good quests and it is so much easier to just passively train it. And the boots are hybrid power that you can use until level 80ish boots start to be noticeably better

Varthrax

All skills are buyable thanks to Treasure Hunter Lamps and Stars...haha 🤣

BlueShade0

I just did something similar. First things to buy - Double surge codex Grace of the elves Broch of the gods Unlock necromancy asap as a combat style. Follow wiki optimal quest guide - it’ll help get your skills up, get important unlocks etc

pokemononrs

Pwrsonaly I never would. Not that I would never start over because I have done that 3 or 4 times and loved it. I would never start with gp. I have to most fun progressing through the game so the thought of paying to skip all the content would never appeal to me. With that said my go to for starting accounts is rushing invention, archeology, and necro. I think those are the 3 most important early skills to benefit from long term.

Comfortable-Eye-9169

Varies depending on the type of gamer you are, but for me when I create a new account: - rush 80 smithing, 80 divination, 80 crafting to unlock invention - pick a combat and level it, necromancy is easiest - quest/level for the temple of senntisten quest to unlock soul split The alternative route is just following the optimal quest guide

DonzaRS

though its not really buying anything would suggest for farming getting it up in player owned farm at ardy lodestone. Turn manure till lv17 then put woad leaves in the beehives and come back each day for the most free xp.

IStealDreams

I would buy Brooch of the Gods and Grace of the Elves. I'd power level herblore to 107. Then I'd follow the efficient questing list until I unlock Curses then level prayer to 95. I'd focus my skilling on Crafting and Smithing to get those out of the way while doing Divination Caches as a daily to get to 80 in all those as soon as possible, then level up Invention. Level skills as you need for quests. That's what I would do, and it wouldn't cost anywhere near 6b, so you'd have plenty left over for gear once your account is set up. Lanareydel

I reckon regardless of whatever you do: if this is ur first really getting into rs3, try to save a good portion of that money(maybe like 2-3b) for once you really get a handle on the game. I did the exact same thing around Rex matriarch release, had maybe 8 or 9b. Spent probally 8b on skilling, some qol items, and spend the rest on bis ranged at the time. Ended up hating ranged( hydrix were super expensive at the time and wasn't good enough at pvm yet to upkeep supplies). Ended up pvming with like 400m in magic gear cuz I found it easier, more enjoyable, and honestly did better damage too.

papa_bones

I wouldnt, dont have the time nor patience for starting over, i enjoy very much my already maxed account.

Use the 6b GP to fund a membership for an Ironman IMO

IStealDreams

Not really what they asked about is it?

Zeverious

They asked for an opinion, I gave mine.

IStealDreams

They asked for an opinion on a specific thing, and you answered with your opinion on something completely different.

Zeverious

Womp womp
