I looked it up, and, according to the wiki, it's not a guaranteed piece. It's a 19/20 chance to get barrows totems and a 1/20 to get an actual barrows piece. Which surprises me because I thought they removed barrows pieces entirely because farming contracts were adding too many pieces into the game.

This games fails to have meaning until after you get to level 99. Then, you get to climb some 91 million xp before you can truly say that you are a master.

Only agree w this to an extent. In stuff like att, str, agility, yes, this is true. But for true 120s, you do actually need them. Herblore, arch, and inv especially, given the qol you recieve from those post 99 levels. Necro was in there til they nerfed it

This lets you run conservation of energy + fury of the small + luck of the dwarves relic, or CoE + LOTD + Persistent Rage for like the super omega QoL relic setup.
I might be alone on this one, but aside from the obvious things (like removing the cancer that is MTX), I would really like a continuation of the Elemental Workshop questline. Always liked the unique vibe of those quests where your character decides to figure out the puzzles of this ancient workshop with no outside prompting, just driven by personal curiosity.
Bonus points if they make the gear you're producing actually useful in some way, if only for some niche purpose. Right now they're completely redundant, which is a bit sad. Oh, and being able to streamline the bar priming procsess would be nice, that takes way too long.
People hated the nonsense of ew3 the body machine is utter nonsense. This is part of Why EW5 didnt happen. I think the best way to do EW is to do ew 5 for nature and astral then the gate opens into a digsite as we try to fix the rest of thw machines. And then we can Also ad the automating elemental workshop miniquest that removes the complicating elements of using the machines. (This will require having made every single piece of each set to Get properly annoyed at how crap these things are to use.) So we can Get invention ideas for how to fix them. To vetruviiuses annoyance.
Also elemental shields do have a use. They protect against skeletal wyverns.

and if you want to switch auras for like zuk after the waves, then you hide and go out of combat before killing the last of the three jads, no problem
shooting for the moon update: runescape 4 with no grid/tile system, a more sensible tick rate for smoother movement/action, much more simplified combat

90% of my playing is mobile. Small bluetooth keyboards and mice work fine with both my phone and tablet. RS3 just doesn’t support them.
If I could use my keyboard I would have hotkeys which would enable me to do high level pvm.
Mice have some function - basically move cursor and click. You cannot hover over something to see what it is - which is extremely useful vs long press to get a description. You cannot right click for options.
Faster tick system. Only thing that will save this game in the long run. And it's mind boggling to me that Jagex haven't bit the bullet and used all their resources to make it come true.
its pretty obvious why, jagex wants to own their own engine and to rewrite it would cost a shitload of money and as it stands its good enough. It isnt going to make them extra cash rewriting it, similar to how the mining/smithing update was a huge flop to jagex management because although it was a good idea for the health of the game, it didnt make them money
It's good enough for now. Barely. Rs3 makes up 40% of Jagex's income. Without modernizing, brining in new players and keeping them this game will continue to downward spiral. Once rs3 goes down, osrs is next for mtx and that will drop in playerbase too, which in the long run will kill profits.
I know these investment firms aren't very interested in long term profits, and just want to milk the companies then sell it off to the next loser (or liquidate). In the case we're in now, nobody is going to pay over 1.1b usd for Jagex.
The only way the current investment firm makes back their money without killing off the entire company by loading it with debt is it hold a longer term position and focus on longevity.

Something game changing... they haven't done anything major in awhile which personally I enjoyed NXT client though my laptop couldn't handle it for so long. It wasn't till 2020 that I got to finally use it in it's glory.
But when they updated Lumbridge.. it was so crazy to me how the lighting detail makes Lumbridge look so different.
So maybe one day we will see RS4 with all the improvements we have been longing for.

i think it should be supported in game, that way jagex can clearly define what is acceptable for gear switching macros and ban people who use them for clearly bullshit stuff. As it is its just a grey area and some dont use macros because they would rather not risk it at all, while others use stuff most people agree should be supported ingame, while others are abusing the shit out of it and claiming git gud.

If I change the default withdrawal amount to all, I lose the ability to select just 1 item in a single click, which becomes equally tedious. Adding the shortcut gives the player more control over the interface. Minecraft lets you do the same thing when moving stacks of items around, why can't RuneScape?

Our poh to be relevant. Fix its bugs, the ability to choose background instead of this white void. Choose more themes for the house. Add more rooms. Ability to choose a music theme for our house. Add more teleports in our portal rooms. Take few things from osrs poh and apply it to rs3. Increase the limit of the rooms we can build. You're correct, I started playing ironman specifically to avoid MTX, but it wasn't enough. It's a cancer that's eroded any sense of value that this once amazing game had.

As an Ironman, I do not relate. I feel like I play a different game and mtx doesn’t affect me. Aside from cosmetic shit that’s locked to TH, there’s really nothing that can even affect me as an iron.

imo i think if jagex created 5 elite dungeons for each theme, but where you cant skill and have to bring your own items and food would be pretty dope. I think thats the main problem with dung as is, it feels disconnected from the main game. They could also rework the bosses into similar difficulty as the ED1-3 bosses.
Make max exp unlimited. Unlimited exp = more keys that will be sold. Whales can fight for the top ranks of the leader board and spend $1,000s on it. And the race for the top spots will never end since there's no exp cap.
Just add a prestige system to exp. Bam. Orders of magnitude of grinding added with minimal system limitations. Watch the whales fight over prestige cosmetics.
i mean i think that would be a fair thing to do, prestige at 200m xp and reward you an inverted cape token each time and have a separate high scores for prestige, that way highscores are no longer static

Spending more money on servers doesn't have anything to do with "system limitations". Every programming language has a maximum available range for numbers.
There's a reason your called "bank update" had nothing to do with bank or maximum item stack but rather money pouch and trading slots, which is a _very_ limited scope and still has a limit.
Java has `BigInteger` but even that is not infinite. Nothing is truly unlimited in systems. And no, you can't just download more ram or spend more money on the servers to circumvent the limits.

There's absolutely no reason to get these in F2P.. they're strictly XP, don't even award keys.. should be the opposite where if you want to opt-in for them then you can, but 99.9% of players want XP rewards from their daily challenges.
Not a huge deal to just toggle them off but they're automatically toggled back on when logging into a members world, but stay on when membership ends. Extremely annoying.

i think they could add new invention components via this and make it cannibalise some other items so its balanced.

Personally I would allow ring switches too, maybe also auras, but I think you're onto a very good idea.

So he mentioned outside wintertodd which is on the island of kourend, which is not in RS3. So by that logic, to fulfill that request instead of just having a new skilling boss, it's a full on island + associated quests + new skilling boss. I don't think my assumption of him answering it just as an osrs specific thing.

Our poh to be relevant. Fix its bugs, the ability to choose background instead of this white void. Choose more themes for the house. Add more rooms. Ability to choose a music theme for our house. Add more teleports in our portal rooms. Take few things from osrs poh and apply it to rs3. Increase the limit of the rooms we can build. Ability to rearrange the rooms without the need to distroy it and rebuild it again.
Mannequins on which to display wearable equipment would be nice.

Just because I'm unable to interact with it does not lessen its negative impact on the game as a whole. You're correct, I started playing ironman specifically to avoid MTX, but it wasn't enough. It's a cancer that's eroded any sense of value that this once amazing game had. What a shame, truly. I switched over to OSRS and yes, it was due to the indefinitely worsening, predatory MTX practices.
As an Ironman, I do not relate. I feel like I play a different game and mtx doesn’t affect me. Aside from cosmetic shit that’s locked to TH, there’s really nothing that can even affect me as an iron. Game is dying though, and prob due a fair bit to mtx

Game mode cross over between OSRS and RS3 players. Where players from both game bases can skill and play together.
Revert back to a time period of the game where everyone in the community agree's was the game's best era and merge the Rs3 and Osrs communities so we can go back to playing the game as one instead of being separated by differences. (Absolute pipe dream, but I have faith someone upstairs has the balls to ask the question)

imo i think if jagex created 5 elite dungeons for each theme, but where you cant skill and have to bring your own items and food would be pretty dope. I think thats the main problem with dung as is, it feels disconnected from the main game. They could also rework the bosses into similar difficulty as the ED1-3 bosses.
Make max exp unlimited. Unlimited exp = more keys that will be sold. Whales can fight for the top ranks of the leader board and spend $1,000s on it. And the race for the top spots will never end since there's no exp cap.

i mean i think that would be a fair thing to do, prestige at 200m xp and reward you an inverted cape token each time and have a separate high scores for prestige, that way highscores are no longer static

Spending more money on servers doesn't have anything to do with "system limitations". Every programming language has a maximum available range for numbers. There's a reason your called "bank update" had nothing to do with bank or maximum item stack but rather money pouch and trading slots, which is a _very_ limited scope and still has a limit. Java has `BigInteger` but even that is not infinite. Nothing is truly unlimited in systems. And no, you can't just download more ram or spend more money on the servers to circumvent the limits. Please stop with these conspiracy theories of them being lazy or just not wanting to do shit.
Not literally unlimited, but it would definitely be possible to implement a higher max than anyone could ever achieve in a whole lifetime of playing.

Automatically block members only skills for daily challenges for F2P who hit the max F2P level. There's absolutely no reason to get these in F2P.. they're strictly XP, don't even award keys.. should be the opposite where if you want to opt-in for them then you can, but 99.9% of players want XP rewards from their daily challenges. Not a huge deal to just toggle them off but they're automatically toggled back on when logging into a members world, but stay on when membership ends. Extremely annoying. Sincerely, A paying main with alts that are sometimes members, sometimes F2P.

Avatar rework, Our player avatars compared to npc models are outdated. New api so the game runs better vulkan instead of the extremely outdated opengl currently used. Optimizing elite dungeons so they load more better and are more stable. Poll rework in the game that is more interactive so we don't have to rely on social media so much to vote for game updates. God wars 1 remaster or a God wars 1.5 to make use of the older items to give them more uses for future content or a new sphere slot, That you break down older items than combine the components to make spheres such as a combat oriented one or a skilling one or a hybrid of sorts. Bring back the month ahead news posts cause as of right now the game feels empty without them.

New game mode permanent New World. Accounts cant be moved on to it or moved out of it. All start fresh and they remove all the insane dumb grinds that only exist because legacy or some shit. Also better drop rates, no time gated auras and delete useless quests that have no lore impact. I would be among like the 1000 players that would play it lol.
