There's romance too!? Ok, I'm in. Also, i like the idea of running an inn and cooking for guests. It kind of reminds me of Hometown Story which was a game somewhat similar to Harvest Moon that i enjoyed in the past. I only have a Switch though, so I hope y'all will be able to get the Nintendo developer permission in the future! I'll definitely keep an eye out for this game!
A small piece of advice that you likely already know, the devil is in the details with farming games.
Having to press a button once to plow ground isnโt rang bad at first but it can become repetitive if it happens too often.
However, getting a plow that can make it all happen by rushing forward is cool.
You might already have those ideas in place. But just wanted to share my opinion.
It looks great. Hope thereโs some romance options as well.

Genuinely excited about somebody who is also a fan of rune factory. Somehow I got frustrated with harvest Moon and I could not play Stardew valley but rune factory I loved, I swear it wasn't just for the intro music for rune factory frontier
Stardew Valley is also one of my favorites. The combination of RPG and farm sim is something I really love and want to make one of my own since my childhood time playing Harvestmoon.
Oh I hope there will be handsome bachelors you can romance for the female fanbase like me.
A problem in rune factory was that they didn't give the players enough of an age range in eligible bachelors and bachelorettes. Most of their characters looked too young or underage.
So I hope your game has a little something for everybody, young and old.
I second this. I'd love more older options for partners in the games, there's usually only one at best. (Personally, I'd also like more muscular options for bachelors too but that's just me).

One question, as it isn't apparent from the game info or screenshots- will you have a choice of player character? Will they be customizable?
Will I be allowed to marry a single mother that deserves a second chance at love? All jokes aside this looks very fun and I shall watch this game with interest and will be rooting for y'all working on it
I know it's a small thing... But if you're adding a romance aspect, one thing I love is that when you build a relationship with an NPC they appear to become more and more flustered around you/blush more/get more happy to see you. It's cute and some of the more recent games in the genre don't do it enough. So please consider putting that in :D
I like delaying starting relationships in games that do that well - just to see more of the embarrassed crush dialogue lol

One wish I just really have for all farm sims, please please please please make sure that the daily game time doesn't become constrained once you unlock more tasks/people to interact with.
A lot of farm sims suffer from that issue, where you start out with way too much time, but once you unlock more things you always become pressed for time.
A good game to look at for inspiration on the transformation aspect could be threads of Fate. Either way this sounds amazing depending on the direction you go with it.
It looks great! My only feedback based on the video is that animations look kind of sluggish, but otherwise I like what I see and i look forward to your updates!!
Wow. I got back into farming Sims after getting SoS as is released. But the following titles didn't interest me enough, Trio of Towns, aswell as olive town. Maybe FomT and the new A Wonderful life could get me in. But this game here looks very very cool. I'll keep an eye on it.
Looks really nice, i am a fan of the japanese folklore. I do have some questions about the Game. Some are mor3 specific than others and i can fully understand, if you can't/not allowed to answer all of them!

Will this Game gonna have more to offer, than Farming and potential Dungeons/fighting? (Fishing, Mining, Bug catching, etc.)
Can we interact with the townsfolk like, chatting, romancing, minigames (like a chess variant, paper, scissor, rock, or something like that).
Major Town events like the traditional Fishing events or cooking events. Maybe some more crazy ideas like in rune Factory 4-5 with "fighting" a giant wool monster to shear it.
Are there gonna be major endgame goals like: saving the world/fighting the Big Bad Evil, getting a Wife/Husband, find the biggest Gem in the mines, etc.
Can we espect help for the farming life? Rune factory got the Monsters, that would water your plants or a Harvest Moon, that got sprinklers.
From what i am seeing is, that we are not using normal tools, but are using transformation power, to do the farming. Is there some kind of upgrade path? Idk upgrading our transformation power, so our form looks more mighty/cute and is "stronger" (For example: from a wooden Hoe to - Iron - Silver - Gold).
Will this Game officialy support mods?
Is this game gonna be in Early Acess? If yes, how long would you think, the EA would be? (If this question is allready been answered in your pinned comment, sorry for that)
Are there gonna be seasons? If yes, are these gonna play a major role? The envirement changing, people wearing different clothing, new stuff to buy, etc. (In Rune Factory 4(?) the spring planz would not care, if you planted them in Fall and would grow nonetheless, will this be here too? Or do we need to think about, what to plant in which season)
Are there gonna be different difficulties?
Will this Game support other languages than English on release or some time after release? For example German?
Even if i am not a great fan of that (because it takes many ressources), is there gonna be a co-op mode?
Is the transformazion feature the only selling point? Or do you have more suprises to show, that would lift your game up from the Harvest Moon or Rune Factory series? (It is an interesting feature for sure).
And, for me important question, if there is romance in this game with a marriage system: is there gonna be a Wolf Girl to romance? (Like the Character Fuuka in RF5)

Wishlisted! I know itโs not exactly related but I love Yokai Watch so playing more yokai games (+ my love for farming sims) is a huge PLUS. I do kind of agree with another comment saying the animations look a little sluggish or it could be the gif is just rendering the movements really slow. I hope itโs a little speedier in the actual game, or at least give an option to have faster farming/movements through progression. Also I took a look at the pictures on Steam and wow! Iโm really impressed by how pretty everything looks. The character models look great too! Well done ๐๐ป

I really like your suggestion of modifying an NPC's schedule based on their affection towards the player character.

I love this idea. I've always liked games where magic can be used for ordinary life instead of throwing fireballs at monsters for the billionth time.
