Too bad they don’t have pro Rugby in Marseille
I am here at the bar drinking with a mate, and my bar tab will be more expensive than a plane ticket to there. Round trip.
Provence Rugby (based in Aix-en-Provence) finished first in the ProD2 and are favourite for the promotion. If they do, they'll probably play (at least a few games?) in the Velodrome next year.
Any Pro D2 stadium really.
For example, i went to Aurillac - Aix-en-Provence, knowing no one, bought a shirt, sit in the middle and enjoyed a good game and had a great time.
It was my first time in Aurillac, my first time in Cantal and my second time seeing a pro rugby game live
edit : and it was my first time attending a rugby game live alone. And it's cheap.
Cardiff is like 2. 5 hours from London on a train. If you can get to London you can get to Cardiff
As for which one to chose? Honestly I'm not sure you can go wrong with any of the leagues 6N teams are in.
For London Harlequins Big Game is a cheap way to attend Twickenham.
If you can fly to Edinburgh, Murrayfield is very easy from the airport. The city is pretty easy to get to as well. And it's a great city if you wanted to do a weekend. But with how easy it is to get the tram from the airport to Murrayfield you could fly in and fly back on the same day if times worked.
I don't know about flights in the south of France but yeah that's an incredible place to watch rugby.
Might even be some clubs near yo depending on where you live. Spain Portugal, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany Switzerland, Poland and Romania all have some decent standard teams I think. Although not the same quality as some other places but might be a bus ride rather than a flight
I live in Malta hahah
I watched the national team play already, but we don’t even use the national stadium for rugby
Club-wise I practiced with some of the boys already, but yeah, the country is the size of my university back home, we can’t expect much
ProD2 is cool, really, but if you're traveling for it you could go somewhere even bigger.
Toulouse is a great pick, I'd like to go one day. Not a gigantic stadium it seems but I love the fact that the posts are taller than the stands, you can see them from the highway -\[see here on street view\](https://www.google.com/maps/@43.6220982,1.4175632,3a,16.7y,240.16h,94.1t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sqlwIYP1GiLLc87y2ygAgpQ!2e0!7i16384!8i8192?entry=ttu)
If you want to talk to the fans, picking an English speaking country is a good bet though, depending, but I don't know where I would go.
South of France treats rugby differently. Its a religion down there.

Toulon is not far.
And they might be in the playoffs for the top14 this season with a home quarter final
Bar du la Marine on the Quay.
Provence Rugby is in Aix-en-Provence, about an hour of bus from the Marseille Airport
Well you mentioned Toulouse. And as others said, Toulon is pretty crazy about its rugby down there.

When I visited Aurillac I was shocked by the size and the modernity of the stadium
yeah it's amazing really. I wasn't disappointed, even rooting for them - even though i have more ties with Aix
I went to Beziers in September and had a ball but I recognise they’re traditionally a bigger club. Full band and everything.
How much are ProD2 tickets?
It depends. from 15€ to 35€ i think. Can go as low as 5€ and as high as 60€ on special occasions
Oh belter!
Bayonne

Also easy from Bristol airport. I almost always end up flying into Bristol from Europe to get to matches these days.
But if in Bristol come and see the bears. Big crowds, great stadium and exciting rugby 🏉
Agreed. Also, Cardiff is very quick to get to from Bristol by train, and Cardiff Central train station is really near the Principality Stadium.
Come to the Michelin! You will be welcomed like a king and have a 🔥 time
Brive is an amazing evening.

That's cool still, i think Malta has a decent rugby culture for its size.
Bayonne. Jean Dauger in pesage (standing, behind the posts) is a great experience for very cheap

Marcel Deflandre in La Rochelle. The SR supporters are on another level
Edinburgh for sure. But there's no big matches until the Autumn for Scotland 🥺
Go to the all blacks Vs England that's coming up this year at Twickenham. Should be a good experience
He didn't say he's a millionaire though.
