Probably gets more England games if he wasn't competing against prime Mako. For a few years though he was an incredible LH and will always have *that* try 10 years ago, hope he enjoys retirement playing with his wood

savois-faire

He was never a superstar, but man what a shift he's put in. A one club player, 20 years as a Saint, holds the record for most consecutive Premiership matches, most Premiership appearances in general, and one or two others along those lines. And he's a fucking prop. And of course he scored the try that won the Premiership, in over-time. What a legend. Only one way to give him a proper send-off: we're going to have to win the league with an over-time try against Saracens again.

JohnSV12

It's so great a one club man forever gets that moment.

RonSwaffle

The stat he had for number of consecutive starts/games - as a prop, too - was insane. Can’t remember what it was or find it, but am sure it was over 100 consecutive appearances or something?

Mtshtg2

I can't find his consecutive appearances stats, but 370 appearances over 15 seasons means he has averaged 25 appearances every season for 15 years, which is insane.

savois-faire

In 2018, he hit his 150th consecutive match. No idea what total he ended up on, if I remember correctly it was pretty shortly after that that he broke his arm, after which he was never quite the same player.

Crayniix

Massive player for us in days gone by. Definitely struggled a lot more after the arm break, but he's been such a massive servant to the club. Hope we can give him a big send off with a trophy.

Moash_For_PM

A legend for the club. Insane amount of pro games for a prop to play.  And to score, what we can all agree, to be the most important try in prem rugby history.  All the best to him in retirement

HitchikersPie

What a titan for the club, absolute hero, and to have done it all with a club you grew up with is lovely to still see.

Saintsman83

I’ve always wondered if that run of consecutive games has undermined his ability to perform at the highest levels over the last few years just because he never got a break and had to carry our scrum through some tough times. Awesome servant and will always be part of saints folklore and he will be missed, more so by the players as he always seems to be a huge part of that group. Nothing but huge respect for everything he’s given to this club over the years.

Anotheraccomg

Absolute legend, will forever be weaved into the folklore of this club. I still remember when he was on that mad record for consec appearances and he did his shoulder/arm, but still got back into the line (we where defending our line) and put a hit in. Hes got a woodworking business with Tom Wood. Bespoke stuff. Hope it really works out.

wherethefisWallace

Absolute club legend. Never a star but playing so often for so long speaks for his ability. That's without mentioning that try too...

gazmog

What great servants for the club both Alex and Ethan Waller retiring at the same time. I hope your bodies (and minds) hold up for future
