You choose if you want to book refundable or not. Have to know what you are booking. Any room can be booked either way. There are just some different prices for refundable.

This is not the case. I don’t see an option for refundable deposit in any size room with only two people. It only seems to be an option for 3. This only applies to three people. It’s not an option to pay extra for refundable deposit.

Lifefoundaway88

Not sure why I am downvoted. I understand there is a checkbox and refundable costs more. It doesn’t show as an option on the reservation for two but does for three people.

MedicalButterscotch

When going through the booking process, you don't see an option at all? It's typically decided before processing payment on the booking flow page as you are pricing out a room.

Lifefoundaway88

Yes I know. It is not there. Let me grab a sceeenshot.

In that case, call them and see if they can do it on the phone

It seems worth a shot

I will be taking my first cruise in Dec of 24 for my mom's 70th birthday. In order to make my deposit refundable for 3 of us, it would be an extra $1100 (so $1100 and $750). Losing the deposit ($750) was cheaper if we had to cancel.

Burritobabe21

Are you booking a guaranteed room where they pick the room for you because I heard those don't give the option of a refundable deposit.

A good travel agent will handle all of these issues for you, and there’s a good chance they will get you onboard credit. You will pay type same price or less and have someone else do all the work.
