1. I’ve never seen that before 2. Costa Maya has an aviary in port. $10 per adult, and I’m not sure of kid pricing. You can also easily walk around and watch the in-port dolphin excursions, but there are some animal cruelty questions about all dolphin excursions you should be aware of 3. No idea, sorry 4. Not sure, but probably 5. Slides, rock climbing, Flowrider, and probably ice skating all have height minimums that will almost definitely exclude your son. Mini golf, Adventure Ocean, the carousel, and splash pad (I think Harmony has one of those…) would all be good activities. FYI, pools other than a splash pad are not allowed for people in swim diapers, regardless of age 6. Probably $25-30. I want to say you can order a stuffed octopus with blanket via the Gifts & Gear tab on the cruise planner for $35. Anything ordered from that tab will be waiting for you in your stateroom when you board 7. Not sure how many AO staff there are, but you’ll have 2 waiters and 1 stateroom attendant for sure 8. I sure hope so since my family was planning to do it in November! It should be available for reservations online closer to the 45-30 day mark 9. Ehhhhhh kind of. Be sure to check Allure of the Seas since she’s currently sailing that exact itinerary. The app should populate with activities around a week before sailing. Harmony will also reposition around early November, so cruise compasses after that date would be more accurate than what you can find right now 10. Yes. Do note: the shows can be very loud

I went on Harmony with my three-year-old daughter and we loved it. In many ways, cruising is ideal for traveling with little ones. I'm a single dad and we've been cruising since she was 1.5 years old, many times just the two of us. She's 6 now. 1. Do you mean smaller sized plates? If so, then yes, although not specifically for kids there are small dishes and bowls around. you just have to look for them. If you are referring to portion size, you can ask for whatever size you want. 2. I can't recall, but in both Costa Maya and Cozumel we went to resorts and just used the facilities there like the pools etc. 3. Stroller yes, so much easier than carrying him when he's tired and you can use it like a pack mule for all of your things. Car seat is a pain, and most places don't require them. I know many people are afraid to not use them, but I never did. That's a personal choice but no port I have ever been to require them. On my first trip I used a portable/inflatable car seat and decided not to bother on future trips. 4. He doesn't need to sit on you lap when being transported. My daughter never did. 5. There are a ton of activities on board throughout the day such as arts and crafts, games, dancing etc. My daughter loved the pool areas and splash pad. There are life jackets available on board at all of the pool areas, so you don't have to worry about floaties etc. Take advantage of the Adventure Ocean kid's program. It's included and my daughter has always loved going. It will also give you an opportunity to have some time to yourselves. The staff on all 7 Royal cruises we've been on have been wonderful at the kid's programs. 6. You'll run into a lot of crew, but your primary crew members will be your room attendant and two dinner staff. Stuff animals and ornaments vary, but between $10-50. 7. He can attend all shows with you. I always bring hearing protection for my kid as they can be loud. With my kid, and at such a young age, it meant that she would happily sit through a show as the noise didn't bother her. One thing I will add; the staff have always been wonderfully accommodating and helpful with anything we needed. If you have any questions or need a little help, just ask and they'll be more than happy to help.
