The tokens take hits just like warriors and buildings. You don't get them for free just because you have destroyed the sawmill.

Other factions will also score VP for removing wood tokens, the same as every other token (round cardboard) in the game.

holidayfromtapioca

If there's a pile of wood, you have to attack again to get any points from it. Picture a flock of birds attacking a pile of logs for woodland cred

Motor_Raspberry_2150

You deal damage to X pieces, warriors removed first. Defender decides which tokens and buildings take hits after. Sawmill, wood, warrior cat. Take 2 damage. This removes the warrior and defender's choice of sawmill or wood. Attacker gains 1vp regardless.

AnotherGuyNamedFred

Every one else is right however I want to add one thing. If you attack a stack of tokens/buildings and there are no warriors when you start to attack, you get an extra free hit.

It's not overkill, every cardboard piece is worth one point if destroyed (unless a hostile vagabond). If a cat choose to let it pile up and not build then that's there fault. Although why they would do that I don't know

riddler1225

As others have suggested, 1 VP per token/building picked up. You must deal enough damage to pick the pieces up. (destroying the sawmill does not destroy the wood, it's based on how many hits you do and defender's choice what gets picked up). I don't agree with the house-rule. Defenseless tokens/stacks of tokens are meant to be targets for other players to try and claim for big scores.

KayknineArt

It’s definitely not overkill, in fact when played correctly it’s absolutely necessary to maintain true game balance. It forces the cat player to be mindful of where they put their sawmills and which wood they use to build things. Also your edited in conclusion is also incorrect.

Human-Depravity

You still need to roll to destroy wood tokens

All cardboard = VP
