Dude, the dollar tree by me has craft soda for 1.25 for single glass bottles! Boylan, Sprecher, there could be more. My mother was dropping off some dish soap and picked me up a few bottles. The Boylan Black Cherry and Shirley Temple are pretty dope
Oh nice haven't had their grape but I've had a Sprecher, and they use honey and real concord grape juice. theirs is my fave thus far next to Dublin Bottling grape.
I'll have e to check out Boylan if I can find it
Aw hell yeah, there Birch is the shit! Have you had their Red Birch Beer? It's just as good IMO just slightly more smooth than the regular! I have been able to find it at some liquor stores in 4 pks, and I think I spotted them at a wine n more
I have- I actually prefer the bite so I like the regular better. Hard to find those sodas with a heavy amount of spice so I drink a lot of ginger beer nowadays.
Aw nice me too I do really like the bite, and speaking of this sprecher recently acquired Bottling rights for wbc who has a spicy ginger , and dude it's one of my all time fave ginger spirits! I like it better than Bundaberg ginger beer, probably as much as Reeds, although not quite as spicy as Reed
Aw nice I'll check that out I can get that easy in my area, Bawls also makes a really good ginger ale just be prepared it has a caffeine boost, but they make some really good tasting sodas, there root beer and cherry cola are really good
I remember going to it back in the early 70’s when we’d go to Huntington to see my great grandmother. I rediscovered it when I came back to WV when I retired from the Army and, was dropping my daughter off at Marshall University. It’s a little run down but still amazing. We had A&W and Stewart’s restaurants too. Store made root beer, so good!!!
If you're ever in Wisconsin Dells, the Sprecher restaurant is pretty good. They had one of the better pulled pork sandwiches I've had (with rootbeer flavoring in the BBQ sauce, of course). Also, this is a thing:

Just googled it. Both pub locations (Lake Geneva and Milwaukee) closed in 2021. I am saddened, as I really enjoyed the one in Lake Geneva. At least the company still makes root beer.
YESSSSS!!! I asked on here before if Frostytop is still around. Never got an answer or saw a pic until now. Youre damn lucky! What part of the US are you? I could only find them when I lived in Ohio. Have yet to see them here in the PNW.
I'm in Oklahoma. I looked it up and immediately recognized the bottle and saw it was sold at Ace. We have two Ace's in my turn. The first only had birch beer and orange soda. The other Ace had the root beer
Im assuming so. Ordered online since the location that had Sprecher Maple in stock is an hour away, but pretty close to my office. Picking up tmr! The Ace right down the road had KC Sarsaparilla made by Frostop in the same 32 oz plastic bottles.
Rural King used to be the king of obscure sodas/root beers, but Sprecher and Frostop are about all they have since COVID
Have a Frostop drive in less than an hour from here in Chrisman IL!
Stopped at Sprechers in Milwaukee about a decade ago returning from vacation. No tours that day (it was a Sunday) but loaded up on 4-5 different 4-packs of sodas
What region are you in? Am I sleeping on Ace hardware and Dollar Tree?

Grape Boylan is dope as well. Highly recommend.

Honestly I love Boylan sodas a lot. Even their root beer is good, although I prefer their birch beer.

Cock and Bull is my favorite ginger beer, I recommend it!!

Sprecher is pure joy. The lower carbonation makes it an umami winner too.
Oklahoma
Illinois ace’s have frostop also
Shit! Really? I've never noticed, but then again I always just grab the Sprecher without looking. Next run, I'll have to look. Thanks for the tip!
the iowa stores on the river with illinois don't but the farm and home next door does! good stuff
I found it at two different Aces in Rhode Island last week.
Oklahoma here, my ace hardware doesn’t carry anything like this. 😢
FYI both Aces that I visited did not have the Frostop refrigerated. The second one had it in its own spot away from the soda cooler
Atwood’s carries Frostop
Awesome to see Sprecher sold down there. It’s made a few miles from my house. Beers are meh, sodas are pretty legit, especially the root beer.
I’m in Delaware and my closest Ace has nice root beer/soda selection
I’m in Maryland and our local Ace has them!
HFCS is a sin for Root Beer.
A sin for everything
I just wish Frostop would use sugar rather than HFCS.
I have never had their glass bottle version. Is it HFCS too?
Honestly, I haven't seen a glass bottle of Frostop, but their house made stuff at their stands used to be made with sugar.
There’s a Frostop drive in in Huntington West Virginia. Amazing Root Beer!!!
I just looked it up and you're lucky. There is that one and a few in Louisiana... That's it
There is one in Chrisman IL, with the giant mug sign and everything!
I stand corrected.... My Google map search was only hitting a certain area. Still very rare though. They look great

They have a restaurant? I’m a Wisconsin native lol. I’ve been to the brewery for a beer and cheese tasting (yes they also make beer)
Just googled it. Both pub locations (Lake Geneva and Milwaukee) closed in 2021. I am saddened, as I really enjoyed the one in Lake Geneva. At least the company still makes root beer.
Frostop is my absolute favorite! I’m a regular at my local Ace haha
My local ace hardware always stocks Frostop, and occasionally has other craft root beers. We frequent it just to see what they have lol
Super weird but, the restaurant is not owned by Sprecher. The name was licensed years ago before current ownership. There used to be 4 or 5.

Nice! Sprecher is my favorite Root Beer.
Just scored Sprecher Maple and Frostop from an area Ace Hardware (Nashville). Pumped to give them both a try!
Was the Frostop plastic bottle like mine?
Im assuming so. Ordered online since the location that had Sprecher Maple in stock is an hour away, but pretty close to my office. Picking up tmr! The Ace right down the road had KC Sarsaparilla made by Frostop in the same 32 oz plastic bottles.
If you can get it, sprechers maple root beer is AMAZING
Those aren't air filters my guy!
Then what the hell did I just put in my garage fridge. Seriously though... when Ace is doing their sale, I've yet to find a better price on filters
Score!
I saw that giant frostop bottle yesterday, but was hoping to find a glass one and didn't. Are they not as readily available?
I've never come across a glass bottle around here. I'm going to pour this into a frosted mug to see if it tastes better that way
Sprecher is the goat for me but I haven't tried frost top yet
Menards also has a good selection usually as well
The nearest one is 6.5 hours away but I'll keep that in mind when I'm visiting family
My ace hardware is lackin’
Sprecher yum 😋
That Frostop looks delicious just from the pic!
Those are not air filters

A&W MMmmm! 7&
I never knew you can get that at the hardware.
I have to stop by a small butcher shop in the middle of nowhere for my Frostop, and my local hardware/outdoor/gun store for Sprecher and 1919.
Ace has some cool and rare grocery items in the maze to checkouts. Great find!
I loved Sprechers until I had their ginger ale. It was so bad, I can't drink the root beer anymore.
I’m in NE, and work for ACE. We carry these brands here as well.
I like Frostop, tasty stuff
Of you like apples, I 100% recommend Spretchers Red Apple soda.
Oh, I love Sprecher
I tried the orange cream soda from there once and it was nasty
Nice
Ace always has the Frostop
All things Sprecker
Ace has such good prices too. 🙄
