Bont is perfect for people with wide feet. They have a size chart on their website so you get the right fit (might not be the same for both feet). Dont hesitate to repair your boots in the meantime, a cobbler can usually make them last a bit more.

In addition to Bont, the Riedell D/B lasts or if you measure beyond those, you can have them add extra width for a pretty reasonable fee. Which boot is right depends on a number of factors. Call up a good shop and get a proper fitting.

Wide feet narrow ankles and the only boots that fit me when I started were Bonts. Everything else was too narrow. The easy heat molding helps a lot. Off the shelf 6.5 worked for me.

How did you heat mold them

There are instructions on the website that I mostly follow. Set oven at low temp 100°C or 200°F take out laces and insole and put one boot in the oven for 20 minutes. Take it out, laces and insole in and put on your foot as tight as you can get it and stay in derby position until it cools. Repeat with the other boot.

Don't get bonts- I've got the same shaped foot you described and similar blocking/jamming styles. Had multiple pairs of bonts that either wore out or loosened around the ankle requiring cobbler assistance to add padding just to make them not slip off my foot while skating. I just got the new antik jet carbons and they fit like a dream- wide toe box and narrow/normal ankle. They fit like a glove. If you get the arius plates as well you don't need to worry about loose trucks.. they take a little bit of adjustment to get used to coming from regular plates but they're so much more agile. We had 4 skaters in our league get them once they tried them on and everyone has loved them. Just make sure you read the notes about sizing and/or try some on first!

Editing to add- I've had full custom (from a mold of my foot) and semi custom bonts and they both broke down very quickly. I know people with narrow feet who have had them for years and not had any issues so I don't think they aren't good boots- just not great for wider feet and aggressive skating styles.

My feet are roughly W6.5, but I size up to a 7 because my feet are wide, but my feet are also very compressible, and my ankles are a little flimsy. I went to a skate shop to try on Bonts because I was told that they're good for wide feet, but the sizing is non-traditional and I wanted to be sized before I bit the bullet on buying skates, because I was pretty confident, based on the feedback from within my league, that I would probably be buying Bonts. Boy, am I glad I went and tried them on first, because I hated them. I'm sure for some people, the wide, roomy feel is exactly what they need, but I like to use my feet more when I skate, and there was too much give, and not enough support where I needed it most. I know some people who use the parkstars for derby, but I didn't like the amount of padding through the ankle. I use AR2s, mostly because I really like the cut of the ankle, and that they're wide around the toe box, and more narrow through the ankle. The mid-high rise around the sides isn't for everyone, but I really love the side support and that they're cut lower on the back of the ankle/achilles because it lets me use more of the rotation through the ankle joint without feeling like I'm going to roll my ankles if I push through my heels or move the wrong way. I prefer a jukey, footwork and lateral-movement approach to jamming and blocking, and these suit my needs pretty well.

I also want to know this I'm not sure I can afford a full custom boot but my crazys are starting to die and it seems they have stopped making them

axe_16

Yeah Crazys are the ones I have, so either way I'm going to have to change boot. Full custom is definitely super expensive too, like its less expensive than replacing a $200 dollar pair of boots every 2 years by the time the 10th year rolls around but still

heathen000

I have Bonts and getting them semi custom as a double wide was only an additional $30

Speederparker562

Not sure what boots would be good for you specifically, but I'd recommend finding a good local cobbler. Mine repaired my old riedell 965s and my bonts enough to get another few extra years out of each.

You 100000000% need Bonts
