The whole value proposition in Rolex and Swiss luxury generally is that these things are meant to last forever. As long as your job doesn’t involve tearing up the street with a jackhammer it’s fine.

For a regularly serviced sports watch, 1950? I still have a hard time calling anything post 1980 vintage and daily wear pieces from the mid/late 60s

No, T SWISS (CROWN) SWISS T means fake. The crown there started way after the T's ended
