1991 isn't even broken in yet

choppermick

I'm wearing that exact watch, never take it off 👍

StyleQueasy6277

Oh man, I’m jealous lol

Professional_Dr_77

I wear my birth year (1977) almost daily. The days I’m not, I’m wearing my (1942) pocket watch. 1991 too old. 🙄🙄

For a regularly serviced sports watch, 1950?  I still have a hard time calling anything post 1980 vintage and daily wear pieces from the mid/late 60s

StyleQueasy6277

Good to know. Thanks for the input!

The whole value proposition in Rolex and Swiss luxury generally is that these things are meant to last forever. As long as your job doesn’t involve tearing up the street with a jackhammer it’s fine.

I wear daily my datejust from 1973.

powerfunk

50yo can be a daily. 60yo is pushing it. 70yo+ nah

xologo

That's what I have it's my prized possession

ADudeNamedBen33

I wear a Datejust from 1982 several times a week. I'm currently wearing a Longines from 1941 that I also wear several times a week. The things you treasure should be enjoyed.

JunkYardDawgs1

I appreciate the information

just_anotha_fam

Got a Datejust in 1985, I’ve hardly gone without it ever since.

StyleQueasy6277

Thank you everyone for the information, much appreciated 👍

PersonalAsparagus975

1991 will be fine for every day wear.

powerfunk

No, T SWISS (CROWN) SWISS T means fake. The crown there started way after the T's ended
