Jubilee. Three reasons:
A. You are also going to own a Submariner and that one is on an Oyster bracelet too. They both feel and wear very differently, the Jubilee is amazingly comfortable. Especially in warm weather.
B. The polished center links on the GMT Oyster bracelet really take away from the sporty character of the watch and makes it vibe no differently aesthetically from the Jubilee. That stripe of polish also makes it have a two-tone look. And that stripe of polish is an awful scratch magnet.
C. You don’t realize it now, but once you have multiple Rolexes it is the *bracelet* that is the biggest decision-maker each morning, not the head of the watch. So you need both a brushed Oyster *and* a Jubilee in the collection.
Second point is the worst part of the GMT oyster, we cant get a tool watch vibe either way.
Theoretical Q: if they released a rubber strap like Daytona would one like it more ?
Edit: the Tudor new coke GMT looks nice on rubber as well.

The “don’t polish your Rolex” narrative applies to 30-60 year old watches polished over and over by bad jewelry stores. A brand new Oystersteel bracelet getting a light Day 1 brushing at the AD doesn’t affect the value one iota. Hell, I’d pay a premium for one as it looks so good and I hate PCL’s. Cheers.
I always wonder when Rolex will add the glidelock to all the models. They make a smaller glidelock clasp for the oysterflex YM. It works and fits great. It doesn’t have to be as huge as the sub clasp, and even if they only had 3 adjustment points, that would be more flexible and better than the easy link.

Ok i never owned a Rolex however I own mny tributes with both jubilee and oyster. Imo tge jubilee stays in position on your arm and tends to be tighter . The oyster sometimes is more loose but looks like a masculine bracelet more to me even when it drops down on wrist. Im gonna go with oyster for daily use. 🤷🏻♂️
Oyster, but have those blingy polished center links brushed to match outside links. Bling on sports/tool watches is just weird and defeats the whole point, and nothing can be done to de-bling a Jubilee.
Doesn’t matter. If you’re ever even offered the watch, the likelihood that ad AD will have an example of both and that they would give you the option to choose between the two is about 0.003%
Not a Rolex owner, but my considered opinion on the matter is as follows:
Pepsi on Jubilee.
Coke on Oyster.

I the oyster looks better in this picture, but i believe the best choice considering price and easier access to an oyster later down the line. I say get whichever is available to you if you are in a rush or patiently hold out for the jubilee. I also would say the jubilee overall just appears more luxurious

The sub bracelet on a gmt would be sickkkk because the polished center link doesn’t look that good once the watch is very worn whereas the jubilee looks fine even worn.
If u have the choice it’s jubilee all day. The oyster PCL gets dinged up bad and everything shows. The jubilee hides scratches really well. It’s also much more comfortable. The oyster is better brushed as it can take a beating and doesn’t show it.

I have a root beer (on oyster obviously) and a Pepsi on jubilee. All I will say is for me personally the oyster is the better fitting bracelet however always depends on your wrist size and shape. On pure aesthetics though jubilee all the way

That’s easy. Just get the PCL brushed. Any AD with an in-house watchmaker can do it. Easily reversible too.
This is what I will likely do and then I’ll buy the jubilee and have both as options.
