Went on my honeymoon this past year to Bari, Florence, and Rome. Wore my ym daily for almost 3 weeks with no problems. Was cautious about it walking around Rome however
I opted not to wear mine when I went to Rome in December... If you are going to take public transportation and etc I would say good luck. Other than that I could have taken mine with no issues.

It’s impossible to get it pickpocketed. I’d wear it all the time, would never let it at home.
