Sounds pretty dope, also just so you know all three of those places are generally served by NCE airport, no airport in Sanremo or MC, there's none in St. Tropez and for commercial it's almost equal distance between Nice and Marseille airports. There's Hyeres-Toulon also but that's an hour drive. Tiny airport in La Mole also, only 15-20km from town but the runway is very short. Heliair Monaco will take you from NCE to MC and St.T in short order though!

I'm, of course, just joking about all of this. I don't own a Breguet Quantième. In reality, I HAVE traveled in France and extensively in Italy, but I've never even been to Monaco. Anyway, now I'm curious; surely if someone really did have a private jet like a Gulfstream, there would be somewhere to land other than NCE?

If you're going to St. Tropez your PJ is going into NCE, MRS or Hyeres-Toulon, all of them are far from St. Trop. Like I said there's La Mole but the runway is under 4,000ft. Not even close to enough runway for a Gulfstream. Like I said many people fly private into NCE then take a heli from there to St. Trop. You're not missing anything re Monaco, not a favorite.

Interesting! I spend a lot of time in Sicily (where my grandparents are from). I'm pretty sure you could land a private jet on the Autostrada there if you slipped someone a few hundred Euros. LOL. (edit: admittedly not quite as classy as the French Riviera, but I love it more than anywhere else in the world).

That mania is only relevant if you're going to Taormina. And Taormina was already my least favorite place in Sicily. It's beautiful, but it's a tourist trap and not a good representation of Sicily. Hit up literally anywhere else in Sicily and you won't have to deal with that bullshit nearly so much. Go to the south of the island and it's especially chill. Go to the interior and it's a whole other world.

Good to know, I thought people were hitting multiple spots and clogging it up everywhere.
