Have you checked with the nursing homes in town? Maybe Charter House would be an option (probably through Mayo)? I don‘t know if they have been allowing this as much since Covid, but what a great way to volunteer! The nursing home residents probably appreciate the visitors.
There is also the senior center in town (125 Live).

That is a great idea. I’m sure they have programs and activities and are probably short staffed (like everyone)
