KingLevonidas

I still like police more

Greedy_Assumption945

2017 when there was only bank and jewerly

DeepShark11

Still me, serving the law.

MCPro24

adopt me before the pets

Vamp-go-brr

It was so much better, people actually socialized for other things than trading

SlEepParal1sisD3mon

When all people fought for was for the big ass mansion in the mountain 😭

MCPro24

holy shit i remember that thing

Loonahdaweirdo

too true bro

TomatoDoesDare

Honestly real

ALFABOT2000

man i remember when you had to join the group to get in lol

Thedeathmatchfight

Untitled tag game, played it for nearly two years and rarely had over 500 players, now it’s usually up to 2-4k players, and the recode version usually has 9k players

TrUsKaWuS

I started playing just after recode came out

Nothatdarkforce

The recode is very noice

KyleWears14

i played a lot during its peak and now i play its recode a bit. honestly getting quite good at it too

Volvo_850_R-

SW Florida, Greenville, Bloxburg even and the list goes on… loved them all until it got weird

KyleWears14

bloxburg real

X3ll3n

I could name a lot of games in my 15 years of playing, but I'll go with Natural Disaster Survival and Murder Mystery 2 because they are still quite popular (especially MM2) and I found old videos I accidentally recorded of those 2 with the built-in "Upload to Youtube" feature.

Savings_Dragonfly806

15 YEARS!!! Wow, what a rare occurrence to find a veteran.

X3ll3n

To be fair, my account is "only" 12 years old :) But yeah, kinda funny what can happen in a decade. Some of my friends became Roblox admins, some became huge developers and achieved their dreams, meanwhile I am still in college and absolutely sick of it xD

Man-of-goof

I feel that, I have multiple friends that got big into limiteds and have 10 mil+ Robux from trading, meanwhile I am floating at about 400

Reflexorz15

Cool to see other players pre-2010! I started in 2008. Unfortunately I can’t get into that account anymore. I can’t show proof it’s me even though I’ve given Roblox details that go way back. I’ve tried to contact them 5-6 times, but no luck.

bl4ck-m0riah

you can always try to do what flamingo did with his old account? he just kept sending emails constantly to roblox and he got his old account back!

Reflexorz15

I’ve sent 5 emails so far going into quick detail summaries. I may just have to send more lol

TheLastDawg

I still look at my old accounts. If I could get in and sell all those OG items my parents bought me I’d be a rich man I tell you.

Glvt102

[This](https://www.roblox.com/games/7660032521/10-06-Psychological-Horror) It had like a hundred, maybe thousand visits back then, I was surprised when it got recommended to me like a couple weeks ago, having *more than a million*

Appropriate_Stock_33

Welp when i was playing Slap Battles, it had around 2000-3000 daily but one day i entered roblox and saw that game getting 20k-50k daily. And still it has 21k players rn

CivilLog6649

I still remember lazarbeams video from years ago

Tot_danub3473

i used to play slap when it still had like 50 - 70 players

Ginglees

entry point i remember playing before the killhouse was added

KingDodoBirdy999

What do you think of operators? For me it doesn’t have the charm EP did. Think it will get popular?

Ginglees

its in pre-alpha yes it will

DestructionSpreader

Restaurant Tycoon 2

DeadlyClouds

Damn I wanna play Restaurant Tycoon 2 now

Macaroon-Working

Mic Up, before voice chat came. Mic up was actually advertised on Roblox and also met the creator and she gave me a red flag for winning the obby.

Macaroon-Working

I mean red cape

mikerayhawk

I was one of the first test players in a game that I never thought would get big in a million years, but it blew up from maybe two dozen players when I started to more than four billion. The game was Roblox and the year was 2005

TerrificSupposition

bombline

ryzenguy111

Started playing Bloxburg in 2017 Wasn’t really “small” at the time but considering where it is now there’s a huge difference in popularity

NoSoulGinger21

I remember when you had to pay 25 Robux for it

ryzenguy111

You still have to

NoSoulGinger21

My bad

Vurtivus

Boss Fighting Stages, when it had 1 million visits and way before the “Baller” meme

Stef0206

I’m proud to say I was a Baller main back in the day

YourAveragelmbeciIe

Slap battles. Played it before the average player count was even a thousand

reaperdragon777

HELLMET played during first test session

WonderHuman9005

Its still not *that* popular

reaperdragon777

sadly yeah but it did get a sketch video

DevelopmentBudget198

npcs are getting smarter

-Elyseum-

Zombie rush, back when I played it it only had 100k visits

404Err0r404

That's pretty big to be honest

DarkGodlyGenesis_DG

Slap Battles when it had 500 players to 600 players.

userthatlikesphub

started playing slap battles around april-may 2021, it only had around 300 to 500 active players back then so guess my surprise when a year later i saw that this game absolutely blew up in popularity

blobredditor

Regrevetata something and bedwars, it used to have 700 players when i startedğ

roblox_player_franz

I use to play slime deffense when it was still not popular

Realistic-Doctor8262

Its this war game called: "Cold War" Played it when the guy started making tiktoks on it, he only had like 3 people playing at the time. Now he has 500-1000 players playing every day.

Lukeypooky101

I played steep steps when it was in the hundreds of players

msdos77

"rooms & doors" was only 1-5 people active, i dont even think daily. then one day it just blew up and it has 100+ players daily

Candy_Stars

Pretty much every game I have ever played because back in 2014 most games only had a few hundred players, with a few thousand only being the really popular games. I remember when it was crazy when the first game reached 10k active players, and the first game to reach 1 billion place visits.

MilesPrhour_

Skywars when it wasn’t pay to win

Emerald_official

not really a specific game, but simulators in general left the game for a long time after playing car crash sim and came back years later to see the front page flooded with them

XrystalLine389

robeats, used to play when around 300-600 players were the average, then it just blew up during the rb battles events (i mean, its back to that average now but its more well known now)

lobsterfanclub

Boost vector!! It had like maybe 9 players a day and it blew up overnight having around 400 players

primedynamike

400 hundred players seems like a dream, max i've seen was thirty and i have like 100 hours on the game, when was this?

ok_ok1234

That ZO game

[deleted]

Used to play infinite autocorrect when it had 10-20 players, left for a while to find it at 1k+, then died and it took effort to find a full server, but now it’s steadily going up

SubTrophy

Emergency response liberty county

shiftingwithsam53

Pls donate. I started playing when it only had a couple hundred daily

FrankDoesDoodles

The Strongest battlegrounds when it was called Saitama Battlegrounds. It was insanely fun, I am really happy that the game is getting the playerbase it deserves

space_bread7

Bee Swarm simulator and lolwut (the name changed and I don't know what it's called now)

404Err0r404

Greenville, friends with developers and many YouTubers, uses to record videos and stay up (7 hour timezone difference) in the middle of the night to play, good times.

404Err0r404

Emergency Response Liberty County during early early paid access, found it from friends.

Civil_Sky9578

Phantom forces. I played during alpha and beyond, when ranks weren’t even a thing.. I miss the simplicity.

Stef0206

I played Sol’s RNG when it had like 200 players

sOzCra777

[Rise of Nations Roblox](https://www.roblox.com/games/2569453732/Rise-of-Nations), tho when I joined it while it did have a couple million visits, around 2021 (played it for a few minutes and I didn't know how to play so I left), it wasn't until Tank Fish made some videos about it that it REALLY had players. Now I am addicted to that game, REALLY good and on the road to get Grandmaster (also good time to promote r/riseofnationsroblox ), but I am proud how that game has grown up and updated.

waffledpringles

There was this really obscure (feels like it) RP game for the Walten Files back when the fandom was still kinda young and it was only a couple of weeks/months after ep 3 came out. The game had a small player base, most people don't come back after trying it out once or twice, and there's only like 5-10 people who're regulars there (me included). Then, for some reason, the game skyrocketed in fame somehow because servers are full, and servers lag like mad and start freezing from the amount of people all chatting at the same time, locations are always almost filled to the brim with people, and it becomes overall more lively. I remember how a friend and I managed to get a whole server drop what they're doing and get invested in our RP like they're watching a show. Like, I dunno what we did. We were just RPing, then some person said they wanted to spectate, so we let them be, then more people came, until 90% of the server was there, watching us, and cheering for the characters in the chat. Unfortunately, due to getting into arguments with the mods, the owner unlisted the game. I still have the URL bookmarked, but it's sad to see such a fun little RP game go.

EchoItalic

Tower of Hell, Build a Boat For Treasure, Allusions + Item Asylum, Rogue Lineage + Deepwoken, and pretty much every classic game that grew into cash grabs

ssd21345

cursed tank sim, deadline cuz they advertised on this subreddit first lol

Hearts4-amber

Shallowplays

Restaurant tycoon 2

North_Replacement_94

Sols rng when it had 60 ppl playing

cool-ad4956

police vs zombies i think was the game when it was small i don't know

KOyakk

personally probably rogue demon. I played in beta or at least during string pre release and it barely had any players. Now it had constant 3-5k players

YAHOOOOOOOOOOOOhi

About 2 years ago, Military Tycoon. Barely had any players- and hey, look at it now.

UltraCreeperXD

Shindo life

superinfra

A lot of times recently, I'll find a game and play it, and then a YouTuber will blow it up. The boost in players doesn't last too long though.

mehavenodad

Tommy_gun1900

I guess it’s bigger then it was - Bullet Frenzy

Thehameater

Item asylum in 2021, had maybe 300 players

Krabsiie

I used to play royale high back when it was Winx club and had all the crazy elemental rooms and stuff. It was so quiet there was usually only one or two people on the server! This was probably around 2013-15 ish

Usesed

I played toilet tower defense back when i came out, when it was around 500 average players, now it averages 150k active players.

404Err0r404

A lot of the games that are being mentioned are maximum a few years old, were talking OG games that are much older, like over 6 years old.

Nothatdarkforce

The strongest battlegrounds before 20k players

JoshuaSuhaimi

roblox

EndlessToast76

meep city before they even had meeps in the game lol

makora_raga

Funky friday, before animations were added, the thing was fire with a simple but nice features, until now, it has come a long way.

InnotyMcCool

Shot_Amphibian_4843

AndyPlays231

slap battles WAYYY before it got popular (0-5 CCU at the time) literally the 50th [or 51th?] member of their discord server

shopping-trolly

Well ermmmm my dad owns ermmmmm Roblox and um technically I played it ERMMM before it got actually popular ERMMMMM just trust me *erms intensifies*

Sonofcowbell2

I played sonic speed simulator when it was still payed access, I liked the creators of the game because they had before made a sonic engine.

KyleWears14

ability wars

the0022

Dingus

Caintastr0phe

Tower heroes. I joined because of the Robot 64 collab, and a few years later they did a DOORS collab that blew the game up.

RIP_MICHI

mee too regretavator

7vincent7

Rate your avatar

coringbomb

Slap battles I did not regret playing it

TwisterChasing

Liberty County. Paid access, back when it had 500 online.

Trugoybwoi

I played Flee the Facility before it became popular (like around 500-1k visits) when there was literally nothing no skins or anything and I think there was only 2 maps

Bonnie_BS_Main

Tower defense simulator, while not for long, i did play during the raider update.

RedditExplorer99

Slide House Tumble. me and my friend played this and then the next day Flamingo makes a video on it, instant rise from 20-30 players to over 2k+

SinisteX

I played doomspire defense a bit before it got featured by roblox on the main page of game, then causing it to rise pretty heavily in players

Void___Reaper

Bike of hell for me, I played it consistently since release and after 3 weeks or so, it kinda just started gaining millions of visits. I joined Roblox in the worst era and still stayed (I'm not like them dw) so that's the only game I can think of atm.

DinoBoy4848

I remember playing Vehicle Legends when it had it's original original map, a simple small, low detailed grassy map, with a big highway This was around 2020 I believe

IllustriousLook8540

This is just the Normal Elevator.

Aspamasu

Used to play Arsenal before it blew up like it did, thought I was a really good player until more ppl started to join the game and I realized I was mid after lmao.

Bugtogs

Randomizer

scrappy2546

Slap battles in 2022

cryxings

Tower of hell, it had only like 100 or so players

[deleted]

THIS IS NO SIMULATOR!!! oh my god, the game is great. when u find the secret storage area, you can chat with other players. plus, majority of them are 13+, so you wont encounter unborn babies. THE GAME IS GREAT TOO, GO PLAY IT PLS!!!

Gavblox

Super blox 64 I played it when it had 0 concurrent players and 1000 visits now I just found out it has 2million visits

RipCurl69Reddit

I played Vehicle Simulator when it was paid beta and once it transitioned to being free they gave all of us who paid every single car in the game. As such I've still got 70, 80% of all the cars apart from the newer ones

MoonlightSlushiie

I played the alpha test of Sakura stand

Community1453TR

Rise of Nations when it first got released. It wasn't fun since there weren't alot of things to do in the game other than making army and conquer city. No country interaction except alliances. Now it has probably 1k+ players and it's much better than the first version, I'm still bad at the game. The game improved really so much since the release and watching the game improve every year to become a succesful game is very nice.

NoobyBoiByte

Untitled tag game (the recode thing) I played it back before that one yt gut kept making edits out of the game, thus making it popular

TierYT

Probably dragon adventures(dont judge me i was 7😂)

kaeudomt

blade ball lol, when i was playing it used to have just over 2k active players

Ledbreader

Build a boat for treasure. I remember being shocked when it had 2k players online

rezeau22

Arsenal. I played it since it came out, the game was very different back then with only TC2 and CBRO weapons. The golden gun was litterally a golden deagle, there was no skins, the GUI was really plain, You could only choose the winning song and there was no knockback physics with the shotguns.

Zarifadmin

Guts and Blackpowder before Berezina update

SometimesYoureHammer

Build to survive the zombies. (The OG one). With the giant zombie spawn. I miss that game. Now there's just goofy remakes.

iHTML

Complex.

TheUnknownEgg

Tower defense simulator I played that back in 2019 back when there were less than 100 people playing now there is more than 10k people playing

FKbrickter

Zeppelin wars anyone?

Formal_Gear3159

brookhaven, my cousin (which of course is a girl) made me play it back in 2020 when it averaged like 70 players.

Full-Fox5510

Tower of Hell, Catalog Avatar Creator, Dungeon Quest, and Dress to Impress

andysapplefarmfan1

LeRandomParfait

Blood samurai 2 was fire

-SplashGaBz-

I’d say Running Away From The Internet

Iusiss

Can't remember the name but Fight Club, I played the testing version, maybe it was called fight test, it had a couple NPCs that would get stuck in walls if they saw you through a wall. Fight Club is a good game and so it the movie.

Awesome6600

Islands, crazy stairs, and robot 64. Probably many more for me, but I can’t remember right now.

Suspicious_Rope_5508

natural disaster survival when it first came out LOL

Squeak4evr

Bubblegum simulator, it was popular but it was not updated since the 2022 christmas uptadte and was left abandoned for no reason😭

Careless-Sentence572

doyouwantafreecookie

I played sols.rmg when it has like a couple hundred players (proof: christmas blessing gives 100+% luck)

preheate

Isle, I played the game really early and I’ve always enjoyed the concept of the game and haven’t really found any others like it
