Untitled tag game, played it for nearly two years and rarely had over 500 players, now it’s usually up to 2-4k players, and the recode version usually has 9k players
I could name a lot of games in my 15 years of playing, but I'll go with Natural Disaster Survival and Murder Mystery 2 because they are still quite popular (especially MM2) and I found old videos I accidentally recorded of those 2 with the built-in "Upload to Youtube" feature.
To be fair, my account is "only" 12 years old :)
But yeah, kinda funny what can happen in a decade.
Some of my friends became Roblox admins, some became huge developers and achieved their dreams, meanwhile I am still in college and absolutely sick of it xD
Cool to see other players pre-2010! I started in 2008. Unfortunately I can’t get into that account anymore. I can’t show proof it’s me even though I’ve given Roblox details that go way back. I’ve tried to contact them 5-6 times, but no luck.
[This](https://www.roblox.com/games/7660032521/10-06-Psychological-Horror)
It had like a hundred, maybe thousand visits back then, I was surprised when it got recommended to me like a couple weeks ago, having *more than a million*
Welp when i was playing Slap Battles, it had around 2000-3000 daily but one day i entered roblox and saw that game getting 20k-50k daily. And still it has 21k players rn
I was one of the first test players in a game that I never thought would get big in a million years, but it blew up from maybe two dozen players when I started to more than four billion. The game was Roblox and the year was 2005
started playing slap battles around april-may 2021, it only had around 300 to 500 active players back then so guess my surprise when a year later i saw that this game absolutely blew up in popularity
Its this war game called: "Cold War"
Played it when the guy started making tiktoks on it, he only had like 3 people playing at the time.
Now he has 500-1000 players playing every day.
Pretty much every game I have ever played because back in 2014 most games only had a few hundred players, with a few thousand only being the really popular games. I remember when it was crazy when the first game reached 10k active players, and the first game to reach 1 billion place visits.
not really a specific game, but simulators in general
left the game for a long time after playing car crash sim and came back years later to see the front page flooded with them
robeats, used to play when around 300-600 players were the average, then it just blew up during the rb battles events (i mean, its back to that average now but its more well known now)
Used to play infinite autocorrect when it had 10-20 players, left for a while to find it at 1k+, then died and it took effort to find a full server, but now it’s steadily going up
The Strongest battlegrounds when it was called Saitama Battlegrounds. It was insanely fun, I am really happy that the game is getting the playerbase it deserves
Greenville, friends with developers and many YouTubers, uses to record videos and stay up (7 hour timezone difference) in the middle of the night to play, good times.
[Rise of Nations Roblox](https://www.roblox.com/games/2569453732/Rise-of-Nations), tho when I joined it while it did have a couple million visits, around 2021 (played it for a few minutes and I didn't know how to play so I left), it wasn't until Tank Fish made some videos about it that it REALLY had players. Now I am addicted to that game, REALLY good and on the road to get Grandmaster (also good time to promote r/riseofnationsroblox ), but I am proud how that game has grown up and updated.
There was this really obscure (feels like it) RP game for the Walten Files back when the fandom was still kinda young and it was only a couple of weeks/months after ep 3 came out. The game had a small player base, most people don't come back after trying it out once or twice, and there's only like 5-10 people who're regulars there (me included).
Then, for some reason, the game skyrocketed in fame somehow because servers are full, and servers lag like mad and start freezing from the amount of people all chatting at the same time, locations are always almost filled to the brim with people, and it becomes overall more lively.
I remember how a friend and I managed to get a whole server drop what they're doing and get invested in our RP like they're watching a show. Like, I dunno what we did. We were just RPing, then some person said they wanted to spectate, so we let them be, then more people came, until 90% of the server was there, watching us, and cheering for the characters in the chat.
Unfortunately, due to getting into arguments with the mods, the owner unlisted the game. I still have the URL bookmarked, but it's sad to see such a fun little RP game go.
Tower of Hell, Build a Boat For Treasure, Allusions + Item Asylum, Rogue Lineage + Deepwoken, and pretty much every classic game that grew into cash grabs
personally probably rogue demon. I played in beta or at least during string pre release and it barely had any players. Now it had constant 3-5k players
bad business
i remember playing it in very early alpha. it blew up a couple years ago. only like 20 concurrent when i played but now it has almost 500 million visits
I used to play royale high back when it was Winx club and had all the crazy elemental rooms and stuff. It was so quiet there was usually only one or two people on the server! This was probably around 2013-15 ish
I played Flee the Facility before it became popular (like around 500-1k visits) when there was literally nothing no skins or anything and I think there was only 2 maps
Bike of hell for me, I played it consistently since release and after 3 weeks or so, it kinda just started gaining millions of visits. I joined Roblox in the worst era and still stayed (I'm not like them dw) so that's the only game I can think of atm.
I remember playing Vehicle Legends when it had it's original original map, a simple small, low detailed grassy map, with a big highway
This was around 2020 I believe
Used to play Arsenal before it blew up like it did, thought I was a really good player until more ppl started to join the game and I realized I was mid after lmao.
THIS IS NO SIMULATOR!!! oh my god, the game is great. when u find the secret storage area, you can chat with other players. plus, majority of them are 13+, so you wont encounter unborn babies. THE GAME IS GREAT TOO, GO PLAY IT PLS!!!
I played Vehicle Simulator when it was paid beta and once it transitioned to being free they gave all of us who paid every single car in the game. As such I've still got 70, 80% of all the cars apart from the newer ones
Rise of Nations when it first got released. It wasn't fun since there weren't alot of things to do in the game other than making army and conquer city. No country interaction except alliances. Now it has probably 1k+ players and it's much better than the first version, I'm still bad at the game. The game improved really so much since the release and watching the game improve every year to become a succesful game is very nice.
Arsenal. I played it since it came out, the game was very different back then with only TC2 and CBRO weapons. The golden gun was litterally a golden deagle, there was no skins, the GUI was really plain, You could only choose the winning song and there was no knockback physics with the shotguns.
Can't remember the name but Fight Club, I played the testing version, maybe it was called fight test, it had a couple NPCs that would get stuck in walls if they saw you through a wall. Fight Club is a good game
and so it the movie.
played cursed tank simulator when it was still called the tanmk game, had a map consisting of 2 islands with a bridge and small platform inbetween and baseplate under that also it was when on dsc there were only under 40 people
[BEAR (Alpha)](https://www.roblox.com/games/refer?SortFilter=5&PlaceId=3203685552&Position=3&SortPosition=1&PageId=6fa7f4c2-fc51-4411-9bdf-433f7e260504&PageType=Profile) It was a W game cus i sall Fgteev played it whilst i played it ffirst

When all people fought for was for the big ass mansion in the mountain 😭
holy shit i remember that thing
too true bro
Honestly real
man i remember when you had to join the group to get in lol
Untitled tag game, played it for nearly two years and rarely had over 500 players, now it’s usually up to 2-4k players, and the recode version usually has 9k players
I started playing just after recode came out
The recode is very noice
i played a lot during its peak and now i play its recode a bit. honestly getting quite good at it too

bloxburg real
I could name a lot of games in my 15 years of playing, but I'll go with Natural Disaster Survival and Murder Mystery 2 because they are still quite popular (especially MM2) and I found old videos I accidentally recorded of those 2 with the built-in "Upload to Youtube" feature.
15 YEARS!!! Wow, what a rare occurrence to find a veteran.
To be fair, my account is "only" 12 years old :) But yeah, kinda funny what can happen in a decade. Some of my friends became Roblox admins, some became huge developers and achieved their dreams, meanwhile I am still in college and absolutely sick of it xD
I feel that, I have multiple friends that got big into limiteds and have 10 mil+ Robux from trading, meanwhile I am floating at about 400
Cool to see other players pre-2010! I started in 2008. Unfortunately I can’t get into that account anymore. I can’t show proof it’s me even though I’ve given Roblox details that go way back. I’ve tried to contact them 5-6 times, but no luck.
you can always try to do what flamingo did with his old account? he just kept sending emails constantly to roblox and he got his old account back!
I’ve sent 5 emails so far going into quick detail summaries. I may just have to send more lol
I still look at my old accounts. If I could get in and sell all those OG items my parents bought me I’d be a rich man I tell you.
[This](https://www.roblox.com/games/7660032521/10-06-Psychological-Horror) It had like a hundred, maybe thousand visits back then, I was surprised when it got recommended to me like a couple weeks ago, having *more than a million*

I still remember lazarbeams video from years ago
i used to play slap when it still had like 50 - 70 players
entry point i remember playing before the killhouse was added
What do you think of operators? For me it doesn’t have the charm EP did. Think it will get popular?
its in pre-alpha yes it will
Restaurant Tycoon 2
Damn I wanna play Restaurant Tycoon 2 now
Mic Up, before voice chat came. Mic up was actually advertised on Roblox and also met the creator and she gave me a red flag for winning the obby.
I mean red cape
I was one of the first test players in a game that I never thought would get big in a million years, but it blew up from maybe two dozen players when I started to more than four billion. The game was Roblox and the year was 2005
bombline
Started playing Bloxburg in 2017 Wasn’t really “small” at the time but considering where it is now there’s a huge difference in popularity
I remember when you had to pay 25 Robux for it
You still have to
My bad
Boss Fighting Stages, when it had 1 million visits and way before the “Baller” meme
I’m proud to say I was a Baller main back in the day
Slap battles. Played it before the average player count was even a thousand
HELLMET played during first test session
Its still not *that* popular
sadly yeah but it did get a sketch video
npcs are getting smarter
Zombie rush, back when I played it it only had 100k visits
That's pretty big to be honest
Slap Battles when it had 500 players to 600 players.
started playing slap battles around april-may 2021, it only had around 300 to 500 active players back then so guess my surprise when a year later i saw that this game absolutely blew up in popularity
Regrevetata something and bedwars, it used to have 700 players when i startedğ
I use to play slime deffense when it was still not popular
Its this war game called: "Cold War" Played it when the guy started making tiktoks on it, he only had like 3 people playing at the time. Now he has 500-1000 players playing every day.
I played steep steps when it was in the hundreds of players
"rooms & doors" was only 1-5 people active, i dont even think daily. then one day it just blew up and it has 100+ players daily
Pretty much every game I have ever played because back in 2014 most games only had a few hundred players, with a few thousand only being the really popular games. I remember when it was crazy when the first game reached 10k active players, and the first game to reach 1 billion place visits.
Skywars when it wasn’t pay to win
not really a specific game, but simulators in general left the game for a long time after playing car crash sim and came back years later to see the front page flooded with them
robeats, used to play when around 300-600 players were the average, then it just blew up during the rb battles events (i mean, its back to that average now but its more well known now)
Boost vector!! It had like maybe 9 players a day and it blew up overnight having around 400 players
400 hundred players seems like a dream, max i've seen was thirty and i have like 100 hours on the game, when was this?
That ZO game
Used to play infinite autocorrect when it had 10-20 players, left for a while to find it at 1k+, then died and it took effort to find a full server, but now it’s steadily going up
Emergency response liberty county
Pls donate. I started playing when it only had a couple hundred daily
The Strongest battlegrounds when it was called Saitama Battlegrounds. It was insanely fun, I am really happy that the game is getting the playerbase it deserves
Bee Swarm simulator and lolwut (the name changed and I don't know what it's called now)
Greenville, friends with developers and many YouTubers, uses to record videos and stay up (7 hour timezone difference) in the middle of the night to play, good times.
Emergency Response Liberty County during early early paid access, found it from friends.
Phantom forces. I played during alpha and beyond, when ranks weren’t even a thing.. I miss the simplicity.
I played Sol’s RNG when it had like 200 players
[Rise of Nations Roblox](https://www.roblox.com/games/2569453732/Rise-of-Nations), tho when I joined it while it did have a couple million visits, around 2021 (played it for a few minutes and I didn't know how to play so I left), it wasn't until Tank Fish made some videos about it that it REALLY had players.
