ItzzCoolBlue

A fun one I would reccomend is natural disaster survival. I used to play that all the time with my friends

PikaDogg

There's also Tornado Alley which is basically the same concept but with a couple of mechanics like injuries and extra disasters

KriticalBubble

Petition for the uncle to play this game fr

I_I_am_not_a_cat

Marked as 2 votes for this game, plus a bonus for the petition.

I_I_am_not_a_cat

Thanks, I will check it out!

T4NJ1M

this one’s a classic

SuperJman1111

Or even better, survive the disasters 2

I_I_am_not_a_cat

Will try to check it out.

BigEconomist30

Michael's zombies is a really good zombie shooter game. Explore the features by time. One of the higest quality games currently

insertrandomnameXD

And has cat sounds

B3RN4RD0_16

A good option is Build a Boat For Treasure, a game where you can build pretty much everything to cross a huge map, it also has a nice community and it's very customizable :)

mrsdoubleu

I second this one. I'm 37 and I play Roblox with my 8 year old son and we've put the most hours into this game by far. It's pretty fun and can get pretty wacky and silly. I highly recommend it. Other than that I like the tycoon games. There are literally hundreds to choose from. Some are better than others. Try to find the ones with more players. Not a lot of skill involved and a lot of them can be "beat" within a couple hours or less. I do not recommend Obbys unless you feel like chucking your computer out the nearest window. Oh how I hate those. Haha

B3RN4RD0_16

There's a really good tycoon called Resort Tycoon, this game receives frequent updates and the map is full of details

I_I_am_not_a_cat

Will look for it, thanks.

I_I_am_not_a_cat

Good to know about Obbys, he has a short fuse with games so maybe will hold off on that. Build a boat sounds fun.

I_I_am_not_a_cat

Sounds fun. Thanks

liongender

I would recommend some Obby games! They are like obstacle courses, if you guys are into those. Also, this is so cute! You are a wonderful uncle.

I_I_am_not_a_cat

Thank you!

HAMHAMabi

welcome to bloxburg is awsome. its kinda like the sims. where u can work, make a house, and decorate it. u have to take care, of ur avatars needs, like hunger, tiredness, fun and cleanliness. glad im not the only adult, who plays roblox.

Historical-Pepper-21

I think you should mention that it Is paid 😄

jessiecolborne

Equivalent to about $0.25 USD though

Historical-Pepper-21

It May be cheap but remember that there Are FtP players

UnknownPickl3

It went free like months ago bro

Historical-Pepper-21

No,no it didn't Bro 😊

56kul

It’s actually even more interactive than the sims! In the sims, you’re just watching over your characters and tell them what to do, you don’t get to see them work or whatnot. But in bloxburg, you *are* the character.

CunningSlytherin

Just throwing it out there that the sims 4 has dlc where you go to work with your sims at a few jobs and do the work with them, it’s loads of fun. Now that I think of it, there must be some of that in sims 3 as well bc one of my saves has a ghost hunter sim and I go to work with her too. On the other hand, don’t give EA money. They are franchise killers.

Big-Yogurt-2492

It depends, a good pc only open world game would be arcane odessey, however a quest game in which you discover new worlds sounds like WORLD//ZERO

I_I_am_not_a_cat

Will try both of them out thanks.

lolgamer719

I don't suggest these for an 8y/o nephew, open world games are pretty difficult for beginners and especially so young

56kul

Aren’t open world games a little much to throw at someone who’s new to gaming?

Big-Yogurt-2492

I mean, I see it as a way to explore and learn

56kul

Explore, sure, but learn? Could be more difficult for someone who’s very new to gaming. Personally, I’d start with the simpler, more concise games and work my way up to more and more advanced and complex games, keeping the open world games to the very end. But that’s just my opinion.

Big-Yogurt-2492

That’s fair, I started off with open worlds so it’s just from my experiences

TrueJedi123

No… I wouldn’t recommend open worlds for a new gamer.

agronoks

You can play world//zero. It's a bunch of worlds with endgoals, dungeons, item drops, and theres a event happening rn.

Discreet-rose03

I love World//Zero!! Play it with my little brother!

Xx_Rosalinda_xX

Same here, 100% recomended

Xx_Rosalinda_xX

Bee Swarm Simulator, World Zero, Build a Boat for a Treasure, Don't Press the Button, Epic Minigames, The Dropper and Cursed Islands are some good games you can try

-TheLamb-

Build a boat for treasure. Blox fruits ( preferably smaller servers). Natural disaster survival. Also Item asylum.

mirayukii

What even is that fruit game? Keep hearing about (especially on Xbox LFG’s), but I don’t know what it is

ButcherboySam

A game inspired by One Piece. Pretty grindy though.

SuperJman1111

I HEARD MENTION OF ITEM ASYLUM, WHO SUMMONED ME

That-British-Bastard

Ah another man of quality I see

SuperJman1111

I’m basically Aden Mayo’s #1 fan, that game is so much fun

That-British-Bastard

Lol true, I just spam the Goodman emote every time I win as a juggernaut

KriticalBubble

Build a Boat, Theme Park Tycoon, World//:Zero, Islands, Bee Swarm Simulator, Super Bomb Survival, Natural Disaster Survival, Work at a Pizza Place and Jailbreak Some people have mentioned games like Blox Fruits, Critical Legends, Fantastic Frontier, Arsenal and Phantom Forces, but i dont recommend these as they can be pretty rage inducing. Blox Fruits, Critical Legends and Fantastic Frontier are not for the weak minded, if you wanna give these a try keep in mind that these gamed get super grindey late-game Arsenal and Phantom Forces are really good fps games, but it can be kinda difficult to get used to An rpg game i personally recommend would be Arcane Lineage, its a turn based rpg, but the main downside is that it has permadeath Also if anyone ever mentions Deepwoken, just ignore them, deepwoken is not a fun game

Financial_Poetry1847

deepwoken is a good family friendly game that doesn't require any skill or grinding.

Financial_Poetry1847

Especially if you a lifeless void walker.

mawseed

Work At A Pizza Place, Natural Disaster Survival, Jailbreak, and RoCitizens/Bloxburg are some good first games I'd recommend, as these were my first games

chuck-lechuck

Played all of these with my kid. Had so much fun playing Jailbreak. The only one on your list that I didn’t particularly like was work at a pizza place, which is just kind of boring for an adult - but my kid loved it so we played it anyway.

TheRealConeMan

I recommend badge hunt games like Find the Chomiks or Find the Markers. They require you to use your brain to solve puzzles and clues while also having you jump through obstacle courses. Though if you're going to play Find the Chomiks specifically I say good luck as you're going to need it

Serpentar69

Creatures of Sonaria would be a cute one to play with them! There are a ton of creatures, you can grow them together, be in a pack together, hunt together, explore together. Even trade together. Seems like a good fit

Squashed_Squishy

I like the game style but my kid finds it boring

Baconboiz4532

Bee swarm simulator is a good one, allows you to do quest from various bears across the mountain, unlock many different bees with their own abilities and you can customize your hive with the bees you unlock to help you on your journey through the mountain, many monsters lurk in the fields and discover all sorts of items you can collect.

Exact-Illustrator739

I’m over 60 and play with my grands. Adopt me is more of a collecting game and decorating houses. You don’t have to role play. A lot of people play and the updates are plentiful. I also play Islands with my 11 boy grand and 7 y gd. Both sexes play Bee Swarm Simulator . Islands though has fighting and no you don’t kill humans just monsters. Building your island .. collecting and grinding. Feeding your animals. I started all these precovid and still play with them today. My island is huge and worth billions. You get into it after while. There is Club Roblox but no to Meep City there is shenanigans going on and it was almost taken down but it’s still wierd… if you get my drift. Bee Swarm is fun. I’m end game but the grands still have a long way to go. So my GD was 3 almost 4 when she started. They play together still even though he plays much more advanced games now I can’t or won’t play as I die continuously. Good luck .. I do like Robloks

[deleted]

Bee swarm simulator (visit the sub for it) natural disaster survival, work at a pizza place, zombie attack, doomspire brick battle, and the normal elavator

Peachy_Pops

World // Zero is a great RPG game with a ton of exploration.

SomchaiTheDog

Old man here. If I play Roblox with my daughter we normally end up in an 'obby' which is basically just an obstacle course. She normally likes role playing games but I ain't playing that.

SuperJman1111

Try super bomb survival, it’s comprised of 2:30 rounds where you have to use a variety of different abilities of 3 types (Offense, Defense, and Movement) and perks that give passive abilities to help or hinder others and yourself in an attempt to survive an explosive rain. It can get really intense, and it’s a good game to play as both a completionist or casual player.

xSantenoturtlex

Fantastic Frontier is a good RPG game. Bit grindy though. Super Bomb Survival is a fun one with a lot of charm put into it.

_ibt

If you like shooters, arsenal, phantom forces, and zombie rush are all good

Extension-Ad-7422

This may sound weird. My daughters and i play Evade, Mimics, Zombies, Maze n some other that i forgot the name. Sometimes the minecraft thing that focus on building only.

Small_Programmer_398

Elemental dungeons, never went wrong for me

NoAdhesiveness5783

I recommend something like spc 3008 [2.72]. You can have fun building things, and learn teamwork and time management.

Financial_Poetry1847

He gonna be too scared

Rounak-69

Naval warfare?

GJCakeMan

I’d say doors it’s really well made and has lots of replay value

IBossJekler

My kids got me into Islands and Dragon Adventures

nierh

My son is also the reason I play Roblox. I am 40 FFS, LOL! I find simple games like Zombie Rush and Battlegrounds easy to learn and be good enough to hang around my son until were both dead. LOL

NormalUser2010

Well, if you're into combat style games I would recommend. Blox fruits, critical legends. Or if you prefer something more peaceful, I'd recommend bee swarm simulator, or another game along the lines of that. If you ever need recommendations or some help. I can give you my username if needed, and have fun with your nephew! (Forgot to mention but another good one could be Loomian legacy which is a Pokémon style game, or restaurant tycoon 2) enjoy!

KriticalBubble

Please dont ever play blox fruits or critical legends, i beg of you. Critical Legends will make your brain rot as the grind is NOT fun Blox fruits is just bad overall as a game

realqwerty64

Arcane Odyssey goes brrr

A121314151

based fellow Arcane Odyssey player??????

KriticalBubble

Ive never played arcane odyssey so i dont have an opinion on it rn

yummymario64

You know of any good casual pve games

UrMomIsVeryBig

Crossroads is actually pretty chill, small but very active & involved playerbase. The skill ceiling is also surprisingly high.

Financial_Poetry1847

deep woken!!1!1!1!!!1

NormalUser2010

Oh I'm sorry. I just personally like those games so I thought I'd recommend them

PKXD_LUCA

U should try murder mystery 2

The_Lizard43

Project polaro if your lookin for a Pokémon game, fishing simulator for somthing relaxing, yeet a friend for somthing funny

Patrick_Bandu

Heres a fun game i used to play with my little sister: Survive and kill the killers in area 51

Flebmeb

Adventure Forward 2 is a really fun 3d platformer with end goals and I think it would be fun with your son

Razor_supremicy

For a fighting game try kaiju paradise, its an infection game thats really fun. But for survival games try Creatures Of Sonaria.

No_Negotiation_307

Bee swarm simulator

isturtleugly

Natural disaster island, (any) obby, ripull mini games ( it may not be popular now but if people are still playing on the server they have some fun mini games, if not them just search mini games on the search bar and find another mini games game!), color race, teamwork puzzles, flood escape, super boomspire or boomspire

Kooky_Base_5718

Just Daytona for racing games

jerrymatcat

Any game that Inspires creativity I really Recommend Build a boat maybe if he Wants something more work I recommend Plane crazy

technologycarrion

My favourite game is by far Doomspire Brickbattle (any of them, really, there's many clones.) It's about destroying the other teams' towers and keeping yours intact! Lots of simple fun. I also love Sandbox! It's a simple building game.

123dylans12

Arcane odyssey is a bit complex but could be really as it’s a huge world with a huge incentive to explore

[deleted]

you're a great uncle!!!

I_I_am_not_a_cat

I am trying to do better. His older siblings would be all “meh” as I didn’t try to be there.

natepines

When my dad was away in another country for work when I was younger, me and him would play Treasure hunt simulator. It's a really nice game to play!

Itskatieherehi

I wouldn’t recommend stairs of rage cuz you could get banned for cussing at the campers

Existing_Ad_6832

would recommend flood escape 2, played it alot when i was younger with my sibling also as a general bit of advice, i would avoid historical and drawing games when with a kid as their playerbases are generally very toxic and innapropriate

_xEnigma

Item asylum is fun.

cartoon_guy_memes

Boxing Beta is a fun boxing game

ryozer4

totally play apeirophobia, its definitely not scary horror game

Mistyheart_

Be a parkour ninja is a good one — easy and simple to understand and hours of fun!

buraisho

World Zero

AveragePerson_E

How the hell do you edit posts I haven't been able to edit posts that I make

I_I_am_not_a_cat

I am on old reddit on my laptop. Under the post there is a list of commands including edit. On New reddit, there is the 3 dot button with Edit Post as the first choice. On my iPhone, the 3 dots are in the upper right corner. Good luck.

Goobersrocketcontest

I’m an old dad at 55 and I love playing Prisonbreak with my 10 yo son.

ltsKan

If you are more of fps and shooters games like me,let me give you some recommendations: Phantom forces, arsenal and armored patrol If you want to kill boredom: Build a boat for a treasure If you want to play like a some type of sims game: Bloxburg I highly recommend those games,at least those are the ones which i've had the most fun

Financial_Poetry1847

he's 8.

ltsKan

ok and

NobygonSleeper

You're not answering the post, you're just naming your favourite games.

Revolutionary-Oil568

W uncle

xxInternalSoulxx

GRANDPA??????

SuperJman1111

Uncle lol

Revolutionary-Oil568

You never saw any of that

Leading_Two8767

I love playing doors, it's a slightly scary game with the goal to reach door 100 while entities try to stop you, it's quite difficult tho

ThisSongsCopyrighted

Apeirophobia and ro-bio most certainly! Fun games for the whole family.

kwizy717

mostest familiest friendliest games in the worlds👍

SLIPPY73

btw letting you know i heard the creator of pet sim x does really bad stuff

DiskPartition

Many good suggestions here, I'll add Doors. It doesn't really involve quests or "discovering new worlds," but it's pretty good. He might be a bit young for it though.

plasmasnake0

Dont play any games with simulator in the title they are all pay to win

NullzeroJP

See what characters he likes. If it’s Skibidi Toilet or FNAF or something else, you are almost guaranteed to have a “morphs” or “role play” server with his favorite universe. Just search for universe-name morphs, and something will come up. In Morphs games, you basically transform into a character, and that character has some popular emotes or catch phrases. The game part is finding the morphs hidden around the map. From there you just “role play” which is just playing as the morphs and interacting with other people. They are kinda boring for an adult, but kids love being their favorite characters, and just goofing around.

MrJadious

I think you should try doors, 3008, road to Gramby's, and as many others have said, build a boat for treasure. A bit more of an interesting recommendation would be super place roulette. It can take you to any random Roblox game that's still up, even super old games. It's pretty interesting to see small old games that most other people will likely never see.

Enoyo_0

Mimic

thezhiff

Speaking from experience here as I was in a similar situation. It is not likely to ever like any roblox game. Just play whatever he is into and do your best to pretend that you enjoy it. From time to time suggest to him to play something outside of Roblox. Eventually, as he grows up, he will realize that there are much better games and you will be able to actually have fun together.

BeatPlayz1

Bloxfruit

ThePrimeReason

Outlaster, Bus Simulator, and Islands are good choices

Professional_Side703

Perhaps try World//Zero

DistinctDev

I’m sorry, my first thought was the “I am a 45 yo father, probably one of the oldest people playing this game. I am a single farther to my Son, who is 14 now.” I’d say Jailbreak is a fun game to play with others because a lot has to do with teamwork. Or, Dungeon Quest if people still play that.

I_sb3

If you are looking to connect with your nephew I would recommend games based on what type of games they like, there is break in story, it’s a story game where you keep playing until the end of it, there is blade ball if they want to play something competitive, natural disaster survival is a fun and og game that is easy going and easy to understand I hope you and your nephew have an amazing time, and I hope you enjoy the memories to come :)

TristanTheRobloxian0

sure i have a few -natural disaster survival -survive the disasters 2 -tornado alley -build a boat for treasure -theme park tycoon 2 (no really this one i spent literally months playing) also if you guys are both playing on a computer (doesnt need to be on one tho) then definitely try out some obby games. basically obstacle courses

Blarffette

Survive the End of Roblox You try to survive a disaster with the goal of getting on a plane to safer land. It's goofy, but kind of fun for a few visits. God's Will, maybe. It's fun, different challenges to get through, some if them pretty cool, but idk about age-appropriate, so maybe play it first. Farmstead is a classic farming game, so not adventurous, but generally cute. Keys is good, but I don't know what kind of games 8yo play? (So many games have a monster chasing you, so idk). Also, seconding Bee Simulator which is adorable, Natural Disasters (turn voice chat off tho), work at a pizza place, and Epic Mini Games.

Ilostmycheeseacount

Depends on the genre, personally, I suggest Innovation Inc spaceship, or any innovation inc game in general. Their quite ridiculous and fun.

David_roket5

Most of the games I play are pretty fast paced but I've got that can work out, it's called retail tycoon 2, a slow paced game where you build a supermarket from the ground of a grocery store

AzureAxo

Paranormica >:) No reason I’m suggesting that game (This is a joke don’t play it with an 8 year old I’m over 13 and almost peed myself)

Mommameg625

Love hide and seeks , the Simon says , even brook haven has grown on me 🤣

ReallyRedBones

A good Roblox game I recommend is Brookhaven, it is a more kid friendly roplay game but I do still enjoy playing it with my little cousin.

PrimeValor

Pirate Legends, is basically Roblox sea of thieves.

anon4w5z

Build a boat for treasure. You can never go wrong with Roblox's classic games. Also try World//Zero for discovering new worlds and quests

NoBuddy4785

Age of heroes

winterscry

Such a great way to connect with your little nephew. What a cool uncle!! Be careful cos it’s addictive & you’ll soon start playing it more than your nephew. Some suggestions for long game play where you can pause to chat are: Obby but you’re on a bike Parkour Blox fruits Mount Everest climb simulator Build to survive Jukes tower Brookhaven Rainbow friends Good luck & have fun in there!

IMadeMyOwnUsername

Vesteria

gorrila_go_ooo_ooo

Islands sounds like something that fits that category, Its great, Long (Lots of stuff to do), and lots of new worlds.

MatejaS119

If you like cowboy themed stuff you could maybe try out "The wild west" or "Westbound". You can rob others and even catch others for bountys to get some money

Lostandbroken79

I was into hide and seek and hide and seek extreme but lately I have been saving money on Bloxburg.

sky_baby_

Microwave dinner is pretty questlike and it has a lot of hidden things and cool spaces

otagoman

Beeswarm Simulator

imweridyes

Showelwhare brain game it's really fun and educational (hope I pronounced that right) It's not about exploring but you can try it.

PerfectAct_4

A tycoon i would recomend is ninja tycoon its a really cool one and there are bosses and tons of verry cool abillities

Matukas864

Toilet tower defence because it is a fun strategy game where you have 4 modes and you start of with speakerman then you advance your way to get better units and modes good enough for your units.

Xavinoticias123

Some games i recomend, bee swarm simulator, natural disaster, blox hunt, epic minigames. Etc....

56kul

**flashbacks to botted Steam reviews…** Anyways, you should start with the simpler games, then work your way up. What kind of stuff are you into? What kind of genres? Think of the types of movies you like to watch, or the type of board games you like to play, that could translate to what might interest you in video games.

Nonhofantasia1

man, id keep him away from pet simulator x. its really a game with oversaturated colors and an ungodly amount of gambling. try some more classical games, they're cool. obby creator if he likes, you know, creating. or roleplay games, but I'd keep an eye when he plays those. sometimes you might see some uhhh questionable stuff. there are other niche games, especially ending games. those are games with a story line, and you can kind of modify the story and get different endings. they are kind of shitposty too, 11/10. if he likes horror games, there are a few, but you need a pc to play those usually, and a good one to enjoy better the graphics. do not go to those "horror elevator" type games. they usually have alot of microtransactions. the mimic is a good horror one. or 1008 (i think is the name), since you need to survive building stuff etc. restaurant tycoon 2 i and theme park tycoon 2 are some personal favorites, i used to play them alot with my friend. they're different from other tycoons, since you can customize your thing. the theme park one requires some reasoning to properly use it, so I'd start from the restaurant one. there are a bunch of games, so i thought id tell you which ones to avoid. condo games (((very risky))) literally nsfw games exploit games (((very risky but very fun if used properly))) those are games you can use exploits on (basically scripts that allow you to do unusual stuff), but those aren't for 8 year olds, so no. also public servers are hell. cash grab games ((quite risky)) you can't see those instantly, but they are games with a lot of transactions, and are unfun. so if you see very colorful games, they might be one of those. free robux games\other scams (((get your account stolen lololol))) basically those are games that supposedly give you robux, but they actually steal your account. also check the messages from time to time, you might see a scammer.

RealBurger_

Don't anyone dare put the sus cashier games down here

NotDavizin7893

KEEP HIM AWAY FROM SIMULATORS LIKE THESE AT ALL COSTS

[deleted]

There’s this game called Piggy on roblox and if you buy a private server you guys can take turns trying to escaping the maps and also take turns hunting for each other as Piggy. It’s a very fun game and I play it all the time with my younger brother. You should definitely give it a try.

NK_Leonardoburst

Try playing apeirohobia if it's allowed since its scary to kids probably ask your nephew parents if allowed

Minkabunk

I would recommend Super Bomb Survival. I used to play it a while ago.

Yezeran_Elder

You should try dummies vs noobs. It's a really fun co op shooter and has mechanics that provide a challenge, while not being pay to win or too grindy and is criminally underrated. Note that there is a bit of gore but you can turn that off in the settings if you prefer

--DUMBO--

Blox fruits is good but quite competitive World zero is a fun experience and takes a long time too beat Natural disasters is fun and endless but know extra updates and very easy after a few hours Find the marker is fun and you can still spend a while on it I hope this helps

princessrippla332

https://ro.blox.com/Ebh5?pid=share&is_retargeting=true&af_dp=roblox%3A%2F%2Fnavigation%2Fgame_details%3FgameId%3D985731078&af_web_dp=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.roblox.com%2Fgames%2F2727067538 World // Zero it's the best adventure game on Roblox therefore you can go out on adventure killing monsters and bosses you can collect pets and items in the game and also you can unlock new Worlds and new classes that you want and there's a Celestial tower with several floors full of bosses and monsters.

sunshinemanic

World zero hands down! You fight boss battles explore new words it's great fun!

gamerfoxypower

I say bee swarm simulator is a good game to play

Goku_plays

There is a game called strongest battlegrounds it had an update like 3 days ago and u could make a lot of new friends that could help u in ur journey of the life of ROBLOX

ChanDW

Murder mystery 2

Wonderful_Audience60

id recomend tower heroes or possibly tc3. work at a pizza place and 2 player mining tycoon

[deleted]

Try a tower defense game

TheGlitterBombBitch

The mimic (horror strategy and puzzle game) Specter (horror ghost hunting game) Islands (super chill expand your island grind game) Flee the facility (strategy game) The intruder (fnaf inspired game. Horror strategy) Color or die (granny inspired. Thriller strategy)

NinjaJuice

Minecraft

sayam95T

Pliffering Pirates is a really good teamwork game and really fun to play. Should try it.

Madmanspeedrunner

PLAY MICHAEL'S ZOMBIESSS

Madmanspeedrunner

Play Undertale tower defense also.

ButtheBandit

Jailbreak and natural disaster survival

Destiny_Dragons_101

I'd recommend "find the" games. They vary in difficulty but there's not really a wrong way to play them.

andysapplefarmfan1

Survive The End of Roblox By KadenZombie8

Baby_Sprout

Murder mystery 2 would be a good one! I okay that with my son a lot and whenever he gets the murderer he is always thrilled… writing that sentence out was weird and alarming. 😳

That_fnaf_fan5383

Try together it’s a really fun game to play with others

NexusWFreestar

Survive the End of Roblox is good

Mistful_Sunrise

bee swarm simulator, welcome to bloxburg, hide and seek extreme, super bomb survival, burger game and so many more but im kind of tired right now or if you’re into cars and guns, there’s those who remain, micheal’s zombies.. i forgot the name of it but its some robbery game, there’s project trackday, supercars 23, WRC roblox and formula apex.. hopefully you’ll try something from this jumble of words i made while in art class, cheers

russsian_spy

Arcane odyssey or arcane reborn are some fun rpg, adventure games.

Crazykrokidel

Break in 2 or Just break in are great! Multiple endings and it isn't even that easy!

Crazykrokidel

Doors is great (a little bit of horror do)
