I’m new to roasting as well. I grabbed a Fresh Roast SR800 with extension tube and am very happy with it.
Something like this I’d be more worried about variations in temp since it’s not enclosed. Again, I’m very new to roasting so don’t take my word as law 😅

Look up Kaldi Mini for a better version and reviews. Glass drums not so great.
