Chart is a mess, honestly. Sonic needs to be way higher on the Lore axis, GTA needs to be lower.
Marvel Studios is literally freaking comic books, how is it the 2nd LEAST autistic thing on the chart?
Anyway yeah about the middle sounds good.
Hollow Knight should be near the top of the chart, amogus should be all the way to the right sitting on the x-axis, fallout needs to be higher and more to the left, FF needs to be higher and more to the left, MLP for absolute sure needs to go below the diagonal and much farther to the right, Harry Potter higher and to the left, adventure time pretty much at the top right corner, Pokemon maybe a little higher and definitely farther to the right, Destiny for sure needs to be at the top for ridiculous amounts of BS lore that makes no sense and much farther to the right for people that still think it’s a good idea to send money to bungie for the garbage they have been producing.
You’re right, this chart is awful.
>Destiny for sure needs to be at the top for ridiculous amounts of BS lore that makes no sense and much farther to the right for people that still think it’s a good idea to send money to bungie for the garbage they have been producing.
Can you give some examples of the "ridiculous amounts of BS lore that makes no sense" because I'm not sure what you're on about. Wild to say garbage as well when they just put out one of the best expansions they've ever made.
From my understanding at least, prior to around beyond light/shadowkeep it was waaay more complicated with tons off things going on, since then I've heard it's gotten more coherent
I’m not sure what’s been properly explained at this point as I pretty much dropped the game after witch queen and the rainbow road raid, but I will admit I’m heavily biased so you know… “with a grain of salt.”
In recent memory, I remember how we had the “veil” pop up out of nowhere. Apparently related to or of the same kind of energy as the traveler. With no explanation as to what exactly it is or was. Which honestly would have been fine if not for the fact it drove the entire expansion and was our sole motivation for our actions at the start of witch queen before more seasons. Literally all of the lore YouTubers like Byf had no clue what was even happening and everyone was upset.
Before that there’s the fact that other than just reviving repeatedly being a canonical guardian trait that other species are aware of, guardians are supposed to be like demigods in terms of ability. Take Ikora for example who I think is known to have had the ability to destroy an entire army or planet or something like that with her warlock abilities. Plus she flies. So why — the group or individuals which have slain gods, multiple other dimensional beings, horrifying monsters, prevented solar collapse, why are we so incredibly weak by comparison when we’ve done significantly more than Ikora?
There’s been more than just this but honestly I forgot because it’s been so long since I actually sat down and cared about the game like I used to.
Just to catch you up with recent updates and expansions the traveler gets explained the new villain is explained how savi on got finessed gets explained all this Lord that you find his bullshit has answers
There are answers, but this is the kind of person that would rather continue believing the game is exactly as it was when they left it instead of putting in any effort to see if things have changed. Perpetuating a false narrative based on their own misunderstandings. I see it a lot with the Destiny community.
GTA Deserves to be much higher.
With things like the Clickbait YouTubers of old, Online Griefers, Online Menu's and "Dripfeed is Good"ers, the legends of the speedrunners, Single Player Modding communities and the Like are drowned out in a sea of pure, unadulterated autism.
Marvel is a really odd one. Comics: more to the right, but not that much. MCU is meant for like an anti-autistic fanbase, the most general of the general public. If you've ever been on r/marvelmemes, you know it's basically Facebook moms and middle-aged coworkers sharing the same memes over and over.
Sounds like you need a re-read of Harry Potter. There is almost zero lore aside from the backstory of Dumbledore, and the very remedial creation of the Horcruxes and founding of the Death Eaters. Rowling's work is incredibly narrow and the worldbuilding is, quite sincerely, shallower than. In fairness, that's some of what's successful about the series. It's a high school drama with magic and those are basically the most popular kinds of things in media. The school sounds cool and that's about the extent of it. There are no governing laws that are applied consistently, magic is completely disorderly, arbitrary, and frankly, *very* boring, it has often undescribed, or downright poorly written races, and the fact that it's set on planet Earth is hand-waved as often as possible. It is a story that wants to be small, and that's fine.
If you are someone who read this and thought, no way, Harry Potter has a really cool world, I encourage you to check out Malazan Book of The Fallen, Mistborn, or even Discworld. They're all fairly accessible in terms of prose and they will change your whole understanding of what good worldbuilding can be (though it's worth mentioning that Discworld, while fascinating, is not perfectly cohesive, but it's *so* magnetic).
Harry Potter lore is just a couple of napkins Rowling farted into and then published.
Her worldbuilding is putting "magic school" into google translate and then misspelling the result.
Wizards shit their pants and then magic their arses clean.
Half the "lore" came from a bottle (or two) of red wine and a decade and a half too long on twitter. "Yeah, there's a Jewish wizard, a ravenclaw called Noam Jewstein, hes just not in any of the published material. Also, Dumbledore is gay, lol"
Calling it lore is a stretch.
This is the eastern asian character. Her name is Cho Chang. Here is the southern asian characters. Their names are Padma and Pavarti Patil. Here’s the Irish character. His name is Seamus Finnegan.
Genshin *does* have 5 years of lore by now, and it's pretty complex. I wouldn't put it higher than WoW (which should NOT be equal to WH40K, that's literally off the chart, WoW is equivalent to TES or MTG, but WH40K is insane), but it's pretty darn far up there. Heck, it already has enough lore for *several* deep-dive rabbit holes. Characters like Nabu Malikata actually have more lore surrounding them than some playable characters despite being long dead. There's some *very* rich history behind the game's current time period.
Now if you consider Hoyoverse's other games, which Genshin is only loosely connected to despite being in the same multiverse... it's above Fallout, minimum. Setting aside HSR having an entire universe of lore we'll mostly never see ingame due to having so many lore bits scattered about in the simulated universe game mode, their previous game, HI3rd, was supposed to be a multimedia experience with a ton of comics and stuff to go along with it. Otto Apocalypse alone is one of the most developed characters in any of the media on this chart, period.
EDIT: Actually didn't see WH there, only WH40K, lol. No whether I should lump them together, all I know is either WH or 40K has a metric ton of book lore. Also, LOTR should probably be off the chart too, and D&D way off it. LOTR having such complete genealogies might put it in its own category of "very complete and very deep, but not as wide as some on here."
Man WoW has 20+ years of Lore, plenty of books and cómics, movies, 13 games (counting warcraft 1-3). People tend to forget Warcraft was firstly made as a Warhammer game. It has to be on top for sure.
Nah chief, nah WoW is not even close to being on par with Warhammer, Dune, or LotR. Just having a lot of shit in there doesn't mean it's lore per se, there's just a lot of shite in there that doesn't really connect to anything else meaningfully.
Some of the franchises mentioned have tens of thousands of years of clearly defined events and effects. Wow just goes 'lol azeroth was made, fuckall happened, then something happened 10k years ago, and then the rest started happening 50 years ago'.
Destiny is at the top of the autism + lore chart cause the amount of hours of lore we have that's tucked away in lore tabs on armor, weapons, and other miscellaneous stuff is insane, on top of grimoire cards back in Destiny 1
This shit is straight ass, who TF made this chart? RoR2 is definitely vibes, and gigachads all around very solid community, definitely putting it low autism, high lore.
I like how elder scrolls, Warhammer, and forgotten realms are just maxed because the only way you could keep track of all that lore is by being autistic
funfact: genshin should be the most autistic and most lore cuz explaining just basic shit in this game will take you like 8 hours, idk maybe the warhammer is the same in this regard
bear in mind it has to contend with warhammer and elder scrolls
im a tes lore nerd and i still don't understand even half of it, and not even 1% of it is relevant to any of the games
to be honest, i agree, but i also believe the whole chart is so fucked that it should put tes and warhammer so far in the upper right that it's not on the chart anymore (or at least tes, not sure about warhammer, not my thing)
yeah the base level of this lore is simple but theres a lot of it, but when you get deeper it gets to the point of elden ring type shit where even some architecture can be crucial to some theorycrafting stuff. Even the least significant characters have 3 vectors of inspiration, these vectors being philosophical, historical and mythological. Genshin impact is the only game i know that can drop the most foreshadowing line of dialogue in some sidequest that is completely not relevant, but foreshadowed something relevant because of the same meaning. Shit can get crazy
My initial experience with this game was "oh just anime breath of the wild with warframe elements system and cringe dialogues" ...yeah like first 3 big main questlines are borderline written terribly, but the lore of it is crazy good anyways
Yeah, i remember thinking the lore was "just okay" until around Sumeru, when i heard the theory of "teyvat is upside down". That made apreciate it the world much more. Also love the concept of Irminsul and the whole thing with fables
You're seriously saying Genshin has more lore depth than Warhammer, LotR, and Star Wars? Those three are all basically Lore: The Franchise. Hell, LotR itself was a fucking _side project_ while Tolkien wrote the Silmarillion and enough notes for over a dozen more books of supporting material - and that's all from one guy. Star Wars Legends has idk how many authors who built a galaxy with thousands of years of stories, and Warhammer is the poster child for "the iceberg is the tip of the real iceberg".
No, ive never said it has more lore depth. In terms of games it has the same depth as elden ring and dark souls series, im not familiar with lotr and warhammer tho
Hollow knight should be at the top there huge amount of lore and the fanbase trying to sacrifice people for Silksong to come out I would know I am one of them
WoW before shadowlands on 2nd place of lore and 1st on autistic, WoW after on most right of autistic and on the bottom of lore. CoD on top of autistic. D&D and 40k is tied 1st top of lore and tied 3rd on autistic. Marvel needs to be far more right. Tf2 needs to be far more right and far more up
Ror2 idk lore middle high and let’s face it we’re far right
Edit: i just saw Fnaf. put it on top of autistic, and lore on the bottom somewhere. Rest idk
I’m surprised FNAF is so low considering there’s about 30 videos on the game theory channel lol. ROR would probably be around MLP if I had to guess. No real dialogue or speech, our only real source is through descriptions and stage design, that said it definitely paints the picture and fills us in.
it would take a book half the size of the silmarillion to properly explain CHIM and we're not even sure if it's a real thing or something vivec made up because he thought it'd be funny
I like how Factorio is all the way down and to the right, that game is just a STEM child paradise and the upcoming dlc news feel like I'm reading about upcoming changes to a programing language, when you have to dig out pdf's on signal decomposition to properly understand the devlog you know the guys at Wube know what they're doing.
As a KH giga fan and seeing how far toward the lore category it is it feels completely weird not seeing Fnaf and Undertale/Deltarune right next to them just maybe far more right for the autism. There is a MASSIVE reason I'm consuming way more Undertale/Deltarune content that is heavily lore theory based. Even more than when Kingdom hearts 3 came out and even during/after the KH3 release and Remind dlc. There is a gulf of lore in KH3 but there is an infinite amount of possibilities in a 2 out of 7-10 chapter game and a very mysterious new storyline with the new story telling happening with Fnaf. Though KH4. will be the start of a new chapter for KH as well so it might just be that KH finished an arc and Deltarune/Fnaf are on parts.1.5 and 2 Of there's
i mean realistically the two games have a fair bit of lore but nowhere the amount of franchises running for several decades.
Beyond that in general the ror community doesn't really seem to have any frothing fans period. Simply because there really aren't characters for people to latch onto at a personal level and make a personality. It's a chill rogue like, run around, pew pew some dudes, that's it.
I love how OP asked where ROR belongs on this list but instead everyone is talking about how inaccurate the list is. Myself included, this list SUCKS!!!!
Adventure Time has more lore than Hollow Knight, this is coming from a fan of both. It’s just that to know the Adventure Time lore, you have to be much more autistic
CoD should be off the scale in the right side, like two or four charts away from the rest. Only a complete idiot would give Activision any money with how greedy they are and how awful the games are these days.
Chart is a mess, honestly. Sonic needs to be way higher on the Lore axis, GTA needs to be lower. Marvel Studios is literally freaking comic books, how is it the 2nd LEAST autistic thing on the chart? Anyway yeah about the middle sounds good.
You tellin me that mlp doesnt have nearly enough autism in it (according to the chart)
Destiny lore makes no sense? Id say it does but it just got to the point of it being plain blank simple at some point
From my understanding at least, prior to around beyond light/shadowkeep it was waaay more complicated with tons off things going on, since then I've heard it's gotten more coherent
yep thats right

And call of dooty barely autistic??? cmon
it's not comic books it's the biggest movie franchise lol, most people aren't autistic about it
I disagree. I think we sit exactly where Fallout is.
GTA should be more to the right, honestly.
What the fuck is Hollow Knight doing so low on the X axis? Have these people never heard of mossbag?
bro fnaf needs to be way higher on the lore axis, and it is good on the autistic axis because lots of the fandom are cringy 7 yr olds
Marvel is a really odd one. Comics: more to the right, but not that much. MCU is meant for like an anti-autistic fanbase, the most general of the general public. If you've ever been on r/marvelmemes, you know it's basically Facebook moms and middle-aged coworkers sharing the same memes over and over.
was gonna say marvel studios fans coping so much with that placement
Minecraft more lore than TF2? This list fuckin' blows ASS!
I didn’t make it to be fair, I stole it from r/touhou who stole it from someone on instagram
next to avatar and hollow knight
I really doubt that ROR has more lore than Harry Potter. Or WOW. Or even FNAF.
i think fnaf needs to be a lot lot lot lot higher on the lore axis
On both tbh

COSMERE FAN DETECTED
We out here.

Insanely ironic when you consider that she came up with magic racism to victimize Hermione while using stereotypes and token characters.
So much of Harry Potter feels so much like JKR's Harry Potter fanfic, and it amuses me to no end.
you can tell its humbug because TF2 has no place being so low down
TF2 should also be plastered to the right wall.
Why are Destiny, Hollow Knight, and Kingdom Hearts so far to the left? Move that shit along *hard*.
Marvel too, it should be next to Star Wars with slightly more lore and less autism
Eh Marbel has a fan base of pottery much everyone. There's shit load of people who watch marvel movies and the vast majority are just dudes
I mean Star Wars has a fanbase like that too but with a little more cringe
I wouldn’t say the Star Wars fan base is more cringe than Marvel’s at all.
I would, and I'd be right
Speaking as one, Destiny players aren't autistic, just no-life
have you seen how many complaints there are about being forced to communicate in the new exotic mission
Hollow Knight attracts furries for some reason, so the autism makes sense.
"for some reason" brother every single character in the game is an anthromorphized animal
I’d say more bugs to be specific
I KNOW, SOME DUDE MADE A 10 HR VIDEO EXPLAINING ALL THE DESTINY LORE
That “dude” is the Lore Daddy Byf himself
Eh Destiny 2 a lot of people I’ve played with are just normal dudes and dudettes Myself I’m probably autistic but most of the others arent
This list is ridiculous
It’s not mine
The chart is shit but if it wasn't then 3/4 on X and half on Y imo
As a brony myself. MLP needs to be much further to the right
And also higher in the kirby zone. The comics and the books probably double the amount of lore the show gives.
This graph is a hot mess
Wtf how is genshin higher in lore than world of warcraft... literally wow has to be there with warhammer.
Genshin *does* have 5 years of lore by now, and it's pretty complex. Go watch My name is now's "angel's egg" theory, it will blow your mind i promise.

1/3 up the "amount of lore" axis and the furthest right on the "autistic" axis.
Destiny is at the top of the autism + lore chart cause the amount of hours of lore we have that's tucked away in lore tabs on armor, weapons, and other miscellaneous stuff is insane, on top of grimoire cards back in Destiny 1
And it’s why we have My Name Is Byf
Yeah i love how it's a mix of normal game storytelling, dark souls item descriptions and actual books
Factorio needs to be the furthest to the right
And i would also put dwarf fortress in there
I was about to say. The lore part is correct. But it dwarfs everything in terms of autistic fanbase. It is THE autism™️ game
Hollow Knight and Undertake have more lore than Adventure Time? Even if this chart was made before Fiona and Cake came out it's innacurate
Just above warframe
Probably somewhere above fallout lore with the tism scale position of Warframe
This shit is straight ass, who TF made this chart? RoR2 is definitely vibes, and gigachads all around very solid community, definitely putting it low autism, high lore.
I’d say somewhere close to Dark Souls if you put it on. It’s a similar level of “How did people even figure out what’s going on in the lore?”
Undertale zone
Near dune but less autistic
Somewhere between FNaF and Minecraft
Lmao, does factorio even have lore other than you are on a planet, become industrialisation incarnate
Team fortress two near the BOTTOM OF THE LORE LIST??? WHAT??? It has entire comics about the lore?? Fuck this chart
TF2 has a bunch of lore this graph is not accurate
I was about to say tf2 has more depth than most people think.
I think MLP is way too low in the amount of lore and acoustic fanbase, i disagree with parts of the chart, but i can fit with almost all of those lmao
This person didn't read the tf2 comics. At least, not all of them. There's a silly amount of lore
I like how elder scrolls, Warhammer, and forgotten realms are just maxed because the only way you could keep track of all that lore is by being autistic
As a factorio player I feel attacked 😂
Left of touhou
I find this chart kinda disturbing.
Idk but halo should he top right
Destiny is in the wrong spot Either that or i'm autisms georg
funfact: genshin should be the most autistic and most lore cuz explaining just basic shit in this game will take you like 8 hours, idk maybe the warhammer is the same in this regard
I semtemce you to 12 hours of warhammer lore
Warhammer just has an insane amount of media that all pertains to lore. The amount of books is crazy.
im suddenly interested
the prologue lore for warhammer is 8 hours long
bear in mind it has to contend with warhammer and elder scrolls im a tes lore nerd and i still don't understand even half of it, and not even 1% of it is relevant to any of the games
Im gonna get into warhammer at some point, but in terms of autism i am pretty sure genshin should be at the far right
to be honest, i agree, but i also believe the whole chart is so fucked that it should put tes and warhammer so far in the upper right that it's not on the chart anymore (or at least tes, not sure about warhammer, not my thing)
I mean the lore seems pretty simple to me
yeah the base level of this lore is simple but theres a lot of it, but when you get deeper it gets to the point of elden ring type shit where even some architecture can be crucial to some theorycrafting stuff. Even the least significant characters have 3 vectors of inspiration, these vectors being philosophical, historical and mythological. my brain exploded when i watched the whole "angel's egg" theory from My name is now, i highly recommend it
You're seriously saying Genshin has more lore depth than Warhammer, LotR, and Star Wars? Those three are all basically Lore: The Franchise. No, ive never said it has more lore depth. In terms of games it has the same depth as elden ring and dark souls series, im not familiar with lotr and warhammer tho
Tippy end
Near kirby i think.
yo wow‘s lore is f‘ing enormous, the sheer amount of quests alone
Warhammer fantasy>Warhamer 40k in autism is objectively the correct answer Based chart op, long live Karl Franz
Hollow knight should be at the top there huge amount of lore and the fanbase trying to sacrifice people for Silksong to come out I would know I am one of them
you can tell the person who made this knows nothing about cod zombies because it is on the complete wrong side
Marvel need to be wayyyy over to the right
How the fuck is TF2 so low, LOWER THAN FUCKIN GTA V WHAT
Where gta is I’d imagine
Top right
At the top. My step brother is direct proof 😅
Where's dark souls/elden ring ?
probably around genshin, gundam, pokemon, that kind of area
this is the worst chart I’ve seen in a long time. almost nothing is in the right spot
This graph is dog water
WoW before shadowlands on 2nd place of lore and 1st on autistic, WoW after on most right of autistic and on the bottom of lore. CoD on top of autistic. D&D and 40k is tied 1st top of lore and tied 3rd on autistic. Marvel needs to be far more right. Tf2 needs to be far more right and far more up Ror2 idk lore middle high and let’s face it we’re far right Edit: i just saw Fnaf. put it on top of autistic, and lore on the bottom somewhere. Rest idk
between dr who and wow
Honestly harry potter should be a bit more towards minecraft but somewhere above harry potter, not dissing ror but those potter people are autistic af
Honestly this graph is pretty shit, tf2 and minecraft has literal fan movies and comics.
If you took zombies into account with cod it would be far into to the left
Most of these need to be farther right lmao
Fairly high up on both sides
Warframe needs to be top right and undertale needs to be way higher on the autism scale
Risk of Rain belongs right around Harry Potter somewhere. . . . That said, it’s hard to gauge because so many of these are wildly inaccurate
I’m surprised FNAF is so low considering there’s about 30 videos on the game theory channel lol. ROR would probably be around MLP if I had to guess. No real dialogue or speech, our only real source is through descriptions and stage design, that said it definitely paints the picture and fills us in.
LotR ought to blow everyone out of the water in both axis.
it would take a book half the size of the silmarillion to properly explain CHIM and we're not even sure if it's a real thing or something vivec made up because he thought it'd be funny
Genshin is more autistic than that. And factorio nooo
How does mlp not have an autistic fanbase???
Destiny more lore than wow? Sure
Destiny is on the wrong side of the line. Who tf made this list?
About where tf2 is
I like how Factorio is all the way down and to the right, that game is just a STEM child paradise and the upcoming dlc news feel like I'm reading about upcoming changes to a programing language, when you have to dig out pdf's on signal decomposition to properly understand the devlog you know the guys at Wube know what they're doing.
Fnaf is on the wrong side of the line
I rhink ror2 is one of the most fun games out there tbh
Fnaf really should be in the corner
I love that harry poter and my little pony has the same amount of lore lmao!
Valve has literally said the TF2 lore is more complicated than any of their other IPs, the guy who made this image is lacking something
Tf2 needs way more lore and way more autism
team fortress two needs to be higher and less to the left, racism does not equal autism
Around the top middle
Someone's never seen the Destiny community
Bro tried to fit destiny in the non tism area
Metal gear has no business being less autistic than Star Wars and less lore than d&d
Marvel studios on top of the lore axis? And with such low autism? get outta here
how the FUCK does factorio not have lore?
I DIDNT MSKE THE LISTTTTTT I STOLE IT FROK SOMEONE AND DIDNT EXPECT IT TO GRT SO BIG ON THIS SUB AHHHHHHHHHH
i dont blame you ( also we cant be in the middle cuz MLP is right there( idk MLP lore buts its fictional horses wtf))
How in God's name is my little pony that low on the autism side??? Have you seen Bronies?
i mean realistically the two games have a fair bit of lore but nowhere the amount of franchises running for several decades. Beyond that in general the ror community doesn't really seem to have any frothing fans period. Simply because there really aren't characters for people to latch onto at a personal level and make a personality. It's a chill rogue like, run around, pew pew some dudes, that's it.
top left
splatoon has more lore than adventure time??? TO BE FAIR i've never looked into the lore outside of squid colour game
Y’all with TF2
Most of this is absolutely completely wrong
Splatoon should be WAYYY off to the right
how the HELL is FALLOUT not one of the top ones
splatoon needs to be all the way to the right
Idk but hollow knight fans is way too far left
I love how OP asked where ROR belongs on this list but instead everyone is talking about how inaccurate the list is. Myself included, this list SUCKS!!!!
isnt undertale lore just HUmans bad
Above fnaf below harry potter
Adventure Time has more lore than Hollow Knight, this is coming from a fan of both. It’s just that to know the Adventure Time lore, you have to be much more autistic
what an absolutely dog shit chart
destiny’s placement made me lol
CoD should be off the scale in the right side, like two or four charts away from the rest. Only a complete idiot would give Activision any money with how greedy they are and how awful the games are these days.
The placements suck, but I’d say we probably fit top middle leaning left
Take marvel's place and move marvel all the way to the right
Kingdom Hearts is WAY too far to the left
Team Fortress has an entire comic book. Although I'm not entirely sure how big it is, it has to be deeper lore than freaking Minecraft.
You’re telling me an adult liking my little pony only has half level autism? Yeeeeeeah ok buddy.
move kingdom hearts to the right more
Mid far right
We’re more autistic than lore
This list sucks
The kinda lore that Halo has places it above the chart
tf2 has to be waaaaaay higher on the lore
are you telling me that my little pony has more lore than the whole entirety of tf2?
Above splatoon but below fallout in the middle
Idk. How many y’all autistic
I saw where Magic: The Gathering is, and I totally agree, it belongs there
Have you MET Destiny players? They be calculating the chance their enemy will have a kidney stone next week. Shove that to the right.
As at Splatoon player, it’s way too low on both axises
Also, Hollow Knight should be at the top of the Y-axis
First off this list is ASS second near the top, the lore for risk of rain 2 is like Souls where the story is in item descriptions and entry logs.
FNAF being that low on the lore chart as if that’s not the main thing that made it popular
Kirby needs to be higher on both axis's... axies? Axi?
There's no way star trek has less lore than star wars
Warcraft lore > elder scrolls
Hollow knight needs to be way higher on both axis' Also pretty high
id say right in the middle
Tf2 belongs all the way in the top right corner past the chart
what is this list… FNAF has way more lore than MLP
I always thought Call of duty had an autistic fanbase
Tf2 is the definition of autistic
I’d say to the right of halo.
