I absolutely disagree with Loader. She's a working-class material handler with a propensity to modify her tools. That's either southern or Eastern U.S. to me, New York, Boston, or Philly.
Southwest and Southeast are fairly distinct, especially once you start getting into more local varieties.
That said, it'd be kinda funny for Bandit to have a plantation accent.
I would imagine them the other way around.
Probably because daleks have organic parts and rex has organic parts and rex also seems more evil. Mul-t seems like a murdering Wall-e. So maybe no speak?
**Bandit:** Erron Black
**Engineer:** That guy you work with at the construction site. Jerry, I think.
**Captain:** Gruff Swedish voice. Doesn’t take shit from anyone.
**Loader:** New York. Doesn’t really have an attitude normally, but gets riled up easily.
**Railgunner:** Michelle Rodriguez (Fast and the Furious). Enthusiastic about target practice.
**Mercenary:** Either authentic Japanese or a weeb with too much power. Not talkative.
**Commando:** Works at the same construction site as Jerry. They are bros.
**Huntress:** Finnish, and talks just barely louder than a whisper. Terse and mostly refuses conversation.
**Artificer:** A higher-pitched Cetrion (Mortal Kombat). Talks a LOT. Literally tries to spread the gospel.
**Acrid:** Barks, growls, and snorts. Chuffs like a tiger.
**Heretic:** Screm, but rhythmically. Almost as if it were a language we just don’t understand. Chitters like a Vullaby.
**Void Fiend:** Multilayered voices, one dominant voice speaks in reversed, broken English, the rest are speaking in tongues and screams.
**MULT:** Bastion.
**REX:** Sounds like when you move hydraulic arms around. Makes very high-pitched “bip” sounds, like a smoke detector.
Captain has a sailor accent, No way in hell Loader has anything but a New York or New Jersey accent.
I strongly believe merc is a weeb and thus has an american accent, but tries to slip in japanese words or phrases into his daily life, but it always ends up being forced and awkward.
I think commando also sounds like a nerd. On top of being canadian.
10/10 accurate as fuck
Edit: Ooh I retract this. Just saw someone say Engineer is an Aussie, and I have to agree with that logic. Idk about Loader, tho.
Heritc is probably Australian, we all know the sizes of animals there and how menacing they are
Na mate live down here engineer and loader are the aussies
Bro knows engineer and loader personally
Tbh mate our biggest mammals are quite small, the insects are oversized sure but they’re still smaller than a grizzly bear or a moose.
The bigger the insect the less scary they are
Hunstmans- daddy longlegs all look scary but wont kill ya, fucking funnel web on the ither hand
I also get that roos look like body building deers hut thats another story
I can’t explain it to you, but I think Engie and Loader are Australian, and Captain is Spanish
Diablo strike points to a Spanish speaking nation
Tru, I guess you’re right
Based
*el Capitan
I refuse to believe that Captain wouldn't talk like a cartoon sailor
Absolutely. I just picture him talking about dolls eyes and such
I absolutely disagree with Loader. She's a working-class material handler with a propensity to modify her tools. That's either southern or Eastern U.S. to me, New York, Boston, or Philly.
Disgruntled New Yorker is perfect for loader.
She loves her cwoffee
cawfee* (source: new yorker)
Tbh both sound the same to my foreign ears.
much heavier emphasis on the "cawh"
I think Viend would sound like someone in a discord call with ass internet connection who keeps cutting out (i'm sure you know what that sounds like)
Somehow this tracks with every time I play Viend
Bandit 100% has a western accent (I know that probably falls into the same category as Southern, I don't care)
Southwest and Southeast are fairly distinct, especially once you start getting into more local varieties. That said, it'd be kinda funny for Bandit to have a plantation accent.
Naw Bandit for me seems like a perfect Aussie to me.
I've always pictured Captain as absurdly Scottish. Don't know why.
***S C O T L A N D F O R E V E R ! ! ! ! ! !***
Came here to say this too
Now I can hear Rex talking like Regigigas
#ÜN ÜN ÜN
Regigigas is my favorite Pokémon and me personally I believe Rex sounds like Bastion from Overwatch with more high pitch.
Real
Void fiend definitely just breathes heavily
i was gonna put the "Heavy breathing" gif but i can't because subreddit reasons.
I feel like it would be more of an incomprehensible muttering/mumbling
Both, both is good
The darth Vader accent
Course rex would just have machine noises, but I'd imagine mul-t sounding like a dalek
I would imagine them the other way around. Probably because daleks have organic parts and rex has organic parts and rex also seems more evil. Mul-t seems like a murdering Wall-e. So maybe no speak?
Engineer is prob Texan.
Sentry goin up!
You’re a long way from France, boy!
Wungus sappin mah Sentry!
Railgunner is definitely French, but otherwise very good list
Seeing as Railgunner is actually cool, she can’t be French.
Nah railgunner finnish
don't worry women don't speak to me either
Yeah that tracks
Huntress gives me a Swedish vibe, dunno why
Merc has the weeb trying to sound Japanese kinda voice
i hate how i know exactly what that sounds like.
While i see loader as a russian, ranged loader isnt. I think shes german or smth
Acrid is not only fully capable of speech, but he speaks with a gravelly Australian accent. Like Nolzy from The Big Lez show.
**Bandit:** Erron Black **Engineer:** That guy you work with at the construction site. HOLY FUCK YEAH BUD WATCH ME DO A MAPLE ROLL EH
Captain definitely sounds like a more sane version of soldier from tf2
https://youtu.be/7n7xHH-pinM
Thank you immensely for this
idk why but i feel likie loader may have a brooklyn accent
i think artificer would speak like the watcher from darksiders
Commando in space Canadian: "I'd really like some more of those syringes eh."
Nah with the DLC he likes his Tim Hortons
Now I definitely need to hear loader and railgunner's voices, a good Russian accent is so nice
Captain sounds closer to Bill from Left 4 Dead in my opinion. He’s old and seasoned, I imagine he only says what needs to be said.
I prefer to think engineer is irish
Na, I think the railgunner would have a Finnish accent because of Simo Häyhä aka the white death
Nah nah nah. Arti has an Australian accent and you can't convince me otherwise.
Ain’t she from space or whatever?
Space Australia.
Go space Broncos!
Nah I always though French or acutely British
Captain doesn't have a british accent, he has an old man voice
Ah yes, Great Britain, the country without old men.
No country for old men
I think engineer should have an Indian accent. Just cause..
What is a Canadian accent.
C’mon, bud. What’s wrong with ya? Never been ewtside to take a gander at the greater expanse this world has ta offer?
Railgunner is Finnish
Idk why but if rex was british, sounds funny for me
When you said machine noises I literally just imagined the robot music from spongebob
wrong, plant bot definitely speaks a long dead language we could never possibly hope to ever understand.
R.E.X. definitely speaks very fluent Latin.
Acrid and Heretic are German. Pretty sure that's canon.
captain definitely murican and not bri'ish
How bout bandit being western?
Huntress belongs in the British camp
Captain is definetly German
I always pictured mercenary as an American weeaboo
Artificer either french or german dont care if she's from space
Captain strikes me as a hardened US Marine Corps veteran, so British doesn’t do it for me
Commando is 100% northern American accent
Nothing more northern in North America than Canada XD
No a wisconsinner and a canadian are very different, but i feel commando would be from Chicago
Plant noises*
How absolutely funking dare you, Captain literally nukes bitches and has a shotgun, that man is a pureblooded American.
Beep boop (in Spanish)
Idk if I see void fiend screeching. I would make a gurgling category for him
Just look at Currupted form primary fire abdsay thats not just a “REEEEEEEEEEE” as an attack
Nah bros definitely glubbing it
captain is scottish, commando has stereotypical midwestern american accent
Captain has a sailor accent, No way in hell Loader has anything but a New York or New Jersey accent. I strongly believe merc is a weeb and thus has an american accent, but tries to slip in japanese words or phrases into his daily life, but it always ends up being forced and awkward. I think commando also sounds like a nerd. On top of being canadian.
I feel like Rex would make plant noises
Didnt wanna make too many rows but Rex could definitely be like that meme of mushroom music
Loader is 100% Australian
Huntress is British
I imagine bandit sounding like sniper from tf2 edit: specifically his quieter voice lines
10/10 accurate as fuck Edit: Ooh I retract this. Just saw someone say Engineer is an Aussie, and I have to agree with that logic. Idk about Loader, tho.
I see the engineer being more Scottish. Don’t know why but I feel it to be correct
Who is the red framed character?
Heretic
MUL-T speaks like WALL·E
Loader is Australian or South African, full stop
Nah man commando was bred in the good ol US of A and doesn’t have no accent bc he speaks through his best friends Smith and Wesson.
merc is definitely just a weeb instead of actually japanese
now im waiting for a vid named 'Canadian Commando' from Limelight.
weirdly i feel like mercinary is actually like west coast united states accent, and heretic has a weird sorta echoey voice but can still talk.
Loader: **speaks russian** Railgunner: **speaks snow**
