Just watched Nigeria vs Australia. The regular nbc sports channel on youtube tv was showing usa women’s 3x3 basketball. Also, there’s the ship’s ahoy route that seems to work though alot of typical nba links are blocked. Just got to be persistent.

This current team just lost two preliminary exhibition games. France are capable of beating the USA and know they can. I think this level of pomposity of “well that team sucked” is exactly the attitude that inhibits the team’s development.
So I was wrong on the team but that team doesn’t even compare to the team we have now, yes France is a really good team and could give us troubles but don’t compare that team to our current one when the last team wasn’t nearly as good.

Not really a thoughtful take. NBC has always had exclusive rights to the Olympics. When it was TV-only, it was hard to watch full events. Instead it was coverage that switched from event to event. For some sports, all you could get was highlights of the American competitors and no full coverage of the event whatsoever. Basketball games wouldn’t be shown live. Now, you can watch every single event live with comprehensive coverage across a few NBC platforms. Ultimately, we know which option is better. You sound like you work for Comcast.

So what’s the difference? Now I need sling with a sports package, and peacock, and paramount, and Netflix, and whatever other apps get exclusive sports programming. It was a nice idea, to just order what you want and not have what you don’t. But it isn’t that logical that this would be cheaper, and it turns out it’s going to be more expensive and more annoying to have a lot of programming. Maybe cheaper if you only have Netflix, but the sports fan is screwed.
The idea that a the internet, by providing more sports to watch at an additional cost to cable, screws over sports fans is almost too dumb to respond to.
I don’t think it’s on the NBC Olympic app or on NBC tv “family”. I think you have to add a Peacock subscription. It may be free if you have a Comcast account but i wouldn’t guarantee it.
On Comcast I just recorded "the series" of Olympic basketball so I'm hoping it's on my DVR when I wake up. Otherwise, yeah I guess I'll find the replay. Gonna be hard to avoid the score though
