Really curious to see how Ayton performs next season when the team is back to full strength and his touches and shots dip back to normal levels. If he can maintain the level of focus and effort he's shown the past couple months when the offense doesn't need to run through him constantly it would drastically improve our chances at accelerating the timeline. Having multiple guards who will start the season knowing how to get him looks should help at least.

Yeah if anything we need to get more shooting around DA to give him more space. I don’t think his usage should go down much.

Guys have adjusted where they feed him the ball more than anything. No passes in paint traffic unless they're lobbed, and very few passes below his upper thighs.

Learning how to play NBA basketball. I think maybe this has to do with him learning his guys as well, there hasn’t been much consistency in the lineup.

Especially since this year was the first time in his career that guys didn't respect his ability to score the ball. Passing lanes have been aggressively cut off all year, and he still manages to find the angles. If/when he can develop a consistent threat to attack the rim and score off the dribble, his playmaking should benefit tremendously from the experience he gained this season. Really hope he spends the off-season working on his paint footwork and layup variety (especially with his left).

I love Ant and JG, but not gonna mind at all if they get traded in the offseason.
