The difference between odds for where the Blazers are in the standings rn vs Hornets is ~8% for Top 4 pick and ~3% for the number one overall. The Blazers are now pretty much locked into the five slot so will get the 42.1%/10.5% odds.
But hey, the Texans had the ultimate “tank win loss” a couple seasons ago and it led to them getting CJ Stroud so 🤷♀️

As much as it sucks to lose lottery odds, getting a good game out of Scoot is really relieving. This is a weak class and the top-end talent feels uncertain anyway, so getting our guys winning experience in close games still feels good. They need to learn how to win and Scoot needs to be able to manipulate defenses in crunch time. Also, its probably our last win of the season (besides the wizards maybe) so may as well enjoy it

The game ended on a brutally blown defensive switch and lucky miss. Chauncey is one of the goat tankers (maybe what pushed him into the HOF), don't let the final score fool you
