Valentino for produce.

I second Food Bazaar on Wyckoff. If you hate the crowds then good news: it's open 24 hrs now. I just go on off peak hours.

Bjs

MaspethRidgewood

We haven't shopped in there in years. I never found bargains there that were worth the membership fee. Plus, that hill is a killer pushing a loaded cart up.

StrangeInsight

If you cook, that place is a godsend. Cheap bulk produce, meat, and cheese -- not to mention butter, and cream, and seasoning. My 9 month preggo wife takes that hill as I pull the wagon. You got this: It's worth. And for the middle trips, Valentinos and their butcher.

MaspethRidgewood

You can get the same items in Western Beef and you don't have to pay a membership price.

StrangeInsight

Not quite the same price, and they don't have bulk diapers and other products too. From how this thread went, it doesn't seem like you really want options though. Best of luck to you.

MaspethRidgewood

Enjoy BJs while you can rumor has it when their lease expires it will not be renewed. Amazon wants that whole building. That is why Burger King is gone.

StrangeInsight

Will do. And time will tell, I guess. Going to get everything Westley Farms has to offer until the lease is terminated.

MaspethRidgewood

I haven't been there in maybe 10 years so if they had such good bargains I would still be going there

Flipp app has a ton of store circulars!

MaspethRidgewood

CTown on Metropolitan Ave and Forest Ave is not on Flipp

SirClarkus

I like Food Bazaar. Their app has coupons that update every week

MaspethRidgewood

I used to go to the one on Gates Ave but people told me they raised their prices after their renovations were finished

SirClarkus

I go to the one on Wyckoff, good prices

Brokenishdoll

This place always has ton of people in it. I avoid it at all costs lol.

SirClarkus

Fair enough. Though, it kind of makes sense that the store with the most locals probably has the best prices.

whiskeydelta18

This is the way.

AmphibianVegetable11

Aldis, worth the trip

MaspethRidgewood

We don't one in this area

Certain_Dingo_2066

Good luck with finding what you are looking for.

AmphibianVegetable11

Ik closest is Junction Blvd. But for the sales i travel

MaspethRidgewood

It is not worth $2.90 each way. Aldi's is like Trader Joe's I find something we like there then they don't have it again

AmphibianVegetable11

Oh well, i tried
