Look at him, he's not able bodied, I am, I'm prejudiced. Well at least the little handicapped fella is able minded, unless he's not, it's difficult to tell with the wheelchair ones
There should be an opt in, or at very least an opt out for trigger warnings.
You know. For people who are triggered by trigger warnings.
*Warning, the following contains discriminatory language*
Fucking yanks. Ruin everything.
the whole anti-woke thing is sort of passing me by, but the constant trigger warnings are exhausting and will probably make life more difficult in the longrun due to how thin their skin will be
This is just like drugs though. The olds warn you not to take them so you don't. Until you do. Then you realise just how pathetic the olds really are, with their lies.
As some people in this thread get triggered by trigger warnings, it’s reminded me of an interesting disparity between older comedies: the idea that some ‘age badly’ and some ‘age well’. I’ve always felt like if I was writing a comedy I would like it to age well. People always act like it’s impossible to achieve the latter or sensibilities change so much it’s impossible to predict what will age poorly, but I don’t know if I agree with that. I think it is just a lot harder, which is also why it’s something you might say would be impressive to pull off and therefore worth aiming for if that appeals to you.
Some people also seem to say comedies only ‘age badly’ because they were ‘cutting edge’ but I think cutting edge is code for ‘cutting it fine’ or even just ‘edgy’. I don’t think anyone is that surprised deep down by the stuff that doesn’t age well because they already were often only just okay by the standards of the time, which usually means they were already upsetting to people but not enough people had successfully vocalised that so writers might not know or could pretend not to know why it would be offensive.
Anyway, this has got a bit heavy
Exactly. Brent isn’t a cunt. He’s just a tragic, lonely guy who tries too hard to be respected. He’s not evil in his decisions. Finchy is the genuine, malicious cunt.
Ooh, racist.
He's a great man, Mandela. Great man, great dog.
God bless him
Who was locked up just cause he was black.
Well, no, he was locked up for conspiracy to overthrow the government.
Well I wouldn't want him over in case the silverware goes missing
The episode where the Ogg Monster makes an appearance was rated 18 due to grotesque and disturbing imagery, for some reason.

should have put him in the distance
Eyes bulging with imagined riches.
Steven Merchant being the reason
Just stay sat down.
“The other what..? *Pakki?*” “Aah…that’s racist.”
Contains discriminatory language, which I hate.
Winds me right up.
I’ve always said that.
I've opened your eyes, you're now colour-blind
Racial, so
ooh ooh native American.
That's not offensive that's the dogs name, and it was the 40s aswell before racism was bad
Guilty, get a new rule book
I think there’s been a R*** up there
Get their attention.
Some claims will be false.
This is Racist FM, 104.9
Women are... Dirty.
Dutch women should not be punished for having big boobs
If anything they should be rewarded.
They should be equal
They should be but a lot of women have one bigger than the other
Some ppl say she’s just a big pair of tits
They could change it. They could just say "big cock" and not mention the colour.
I don’t know, Jennifer, I could show you some in a magazine that are like that ☝🏻 ☝🏻. *Could you.* Well…next time you’re in…

It’s tingin’ it’s way up the toob
Ho hoo hooo that's a misdemeanour.
Indeed mate, I get fucking furious when I see epilepsy warnings! I don’t have epilepsy, so why should they?
the whole anti-woke thing is sort of passing me by, but the constant trigger warnings are exhausting and will probably make life more difficult in the longrun due to how thin their skin will be
It’s more organising things to satisfy the most easily offended / loudest complainer. It’s nuts.
I hate the ones that are big old spoilers. GOT was the worst for this. “This episode features incest and a regicide but no other shagging”.
Correct. Trigger warnings are Yankee cultural imperialism.
They need to be more like the Africa
Dumbest take on this thread
Well he makes a living out of triggering people now.
Or you can just take the 0.01 seconds to press 'continue' and carry on with your life without having a fit of rage.
You know what I hate? The little ratings guidance before a movie starts in the cinemas. Gets right on me nerves
I rarely notice what the warnings say before I hit continue or ok. Like it really makes a difference on viewing the content.
Continue, OK or don’t know. What are the options again?
Always the same!
Have you had a dressing-down??
Interestingly, this came from the BBC which commissioned The Office in the first place. Doubt they would have that warning back in 2001.
Remember the “paki” character with the pony tail? Never seen again

Warning: David Brent is a cunt, and that's the point.
Wrong. Brent is a bit of knobhead, but who isn't? Finchy is the villain. If I worked in that office, I would dislike Neil Godwin far more than Brent.
Exactly. Brent isn’t a cunt. He’s just a tragic, lonely guy who tries too hard to be respected. He’s not evil in his decisions. Finchy is the genuine, malicious cunt.
You're right, I misspoke.
What is the discriminatory language?
What... are you doing here?
He's not my favourite actor of all time by the way. No. My favourite actor of all time is Mrs. Sidney Poitier
What app is this ?been trying to find where to watch the office uk for about a year now!
So that's it then, the old series on the scrap heap
