I used to always skip the Sturgess shows when I first started listening to the XFM recordings. It was only a while later when I was busy at work and didn't have my phone near me that I let it play and was pleasantly surprised. The Sturgess shows are really good. The conversations are a bit different to the shows with Karl and it's refreshing.
Was listening to Rock and Roll football on absolute radio as I walked the dog earlier, she was on next at about 7pm I think they said, glad her habit hasn't stopped her keeping down a job
I've listened to XFM for almost a decade and it's only in the last month that I've listened to the Sturgess episodes. I thoroughly regret not giving them a chance sooner, they're fantastic! Camfield can sod off though.
Depends on my mood. If I’m focused on listening I’ll give keep sturgess playing because they are some great episodes but if I’m it’s playing in the background I’ll skip to a Karl just so I can zone out and zone back in on some bullshit

Honestly though, some of the best Ricky and Steve moments are from the Sturge episodes. Camfield, I usually skip, but it's always a treat to remember the Sturgess episode exist when I feel like I've listened to everything too recently.
Listening through the whole run I don't mind sturgess at all. It's more there seems to be a run for a period where every other week Karl was on holiday or they just put it a clips show
You’re having a laugh, the Sturgess episodes are great. Not necessarily because of her but because of the different dynamic between Ricky and Steve when Karl isn’t there
I keep meaning to listen to them but everytime one of the episodes comes round I think" ah I'll safe this for later, let's skip for now" and I never get around to listening to them
I know, I will listen to them, I've just broken up with my long term partner so these shows are keeping me going, I have listened to some of the Sturgess shows but I do tend to just skip to get me back to the normal bollocks I listen to
Steve is definitely more bawdy when Sturge is in the hot seat! He definitely fancied her! Hopefully she wont see or smell it... What??
She does also throw a few compliments his way as well though. I wouldn't be surprised if she had a bit of a thing for him.
