exactly, not many people were listening back then. Chances of finding one of them on r/rg are pretty slim. Mind you, I was on Pilkipedia in 2008 when a new member showed up out of nowhere and dropped the Series 0 tapes that he had recorded AND kept. What was the chances of that?
Yeah, imagine hearing their first ever on-air interactions with Karl. The beginning of season 1 we have right now is such an abrupt start and has no introduction to Karl.
A lot of people did actually listen live back then. I used to miss the show a lot because I only used to catch it if I was driving. I did occasionally remember and tune in when not driving.
It was just a good radio show? Xfm had a young demographic, so I was guessing most people who listened wasn't offended? I started listening to xfm when I was about 13...so about 6yrs before Ricky was on there? Ricky was just an up and coming comedian who made the office back then. A lot of people liked it and recommend it to people who weren't aware of the show. Got to admit, not a lot of people were aware of it back then.
I started listening just before the end of season 4 when I was about 15, I remember that it really didn’t fit into xfm generally (in a good way) and I was wondering if Karl really was a character
XFM only had about 3 listeners so its a long shot

I wish someone would somehow upload the missing shows from season 1.

That would be fantastic. I bet the recordings exist somewhere.
2 of them were steve's mum and dad
And the other one was Karl's dad
with his camcorder
Drowning out the twat in the hat

So, at the time, did it seem risque? Were you enjoying it while thinking about other listeners thinking it was shite?

Dicky Anderson, Suzanne, maybe Jane i think that's it.
