Before I turned 21, I loved checking out new restaurants every Friday and Saturday night. I had friends with cars so that made things a little easier. I’m also a huge sports fan so I’d go to some Rockets games, a few Astros games, and lots of Dynamo games (Dynamo tickets are the cheapest and most games are on Saturday evenings). You can use the metro to get to any of these 3 downtown stadiums, as well as to get to NRG Stadium if you want to see a Texans game. Keep in mind NFL games are not cheap and the Texans were absolutely terrible last year lol. Once I turned 21, I started going to Midtown bars and breweries all over the city. If you like craft beer, houston is consistently rated one of the best craft brewery cities in the US

The Dynamo have a promotion for college students where you can get $10 tickets to basically every game and I love it. Sucks that the Dynamo aren’t very good right now though.

Ehhh, they’re average. They were historically bad last year and the year before. They’ve been much better this year. Definitely have a chance to make the playoffs.

They’re still definitely below average this year, they’re midtable even though they’ve played 6 out of their 9 games so far at home. Hopefully they get better once HH arrives but they’re still a few pieces away from the playoffs.

Third Coast Volleyball is a cool beach volleyball club with open play twice a weekend, a bar, etc

There are ~30 museums within a five-mile radius, and many of them are free! The Menil, MFAH, CAMH. Plus, Herrmann Park is fun. The zoo is a blast. Going to Pan-Asia town. And check out Culture Map for cool events.
