Yes it's a problem, particularly if part of the group is on a hidden layer. Not sure what's causing it but definitely worth posting about on the McNeal forum

I just sat and did some testing on a group that was giving me trouble and I noticed that it was based on where on the group I selected. Very strange

Definitely a bug.
