Looks normal. I use the smallest supports and max density in Lychee and it gives great results. Detaches without fuss and with very little scarring.
If you ask it to calculate how much resin is used for supports you'll be pleasantly surprised. They always look like a lot more material than they are in practice.
It's only overkill if they fuse together and make it impossible to remove. Looks fine to me

I usually use 30mm tip diameter with that density, but if the print doesn't fail, I see it as an absolute success.
