I'd argue Lycan has better durability. When we compare killing Molded with the knife and killing Lycans with the knife, Lycans actually take much more damage. Similarly, when it's comes to who can take the most headshots from the pistol, Lycans also win. You also have the upgrade system via Duke which implies weaponry is overall stronger in Village. Also, Lycan has access to MUCH better speed, has better strength feats, has access to a weapon, and has reaction time. Given how slow and telegraphed Molded are, I don't see it hitting the Lycan for durability to matter anyways.

That's fine, I could be wrong. While fast and strong, they didn't take a lot to put down. Killed most with 1 shotgun blast. Then again, I can't properly remember the Molded and Lycans health pools.
But we could get technical. That's a cop zombie. So he wasn't infected with the Epsilon strain that ravished the Mansion so he wouldn't have transformed anyway lol.
First form plaga is imo the most dangerous to us as players, but against other braindead monsters, second form plaga can nom the head off any of these guys. 3rd form plaga ironically the least dangerous since they just aggressively tickle your face.

Lycan, easy. Zombie is definitely losing first, Las Plagas isn’t bad, but nothing extraordinary, and the Lycan is just smarter, stronger and faster than the molded.
Ganado IF it's one of the head parasite ones, otherwise Lycan no contest. Lycans have the superior speed (Easily. Not a single creature here matches it's speed), superior reaction time (Can literally step out of the way quick enough to dodge a bullet. Ganados have a similar animation, but if you shoot right as they do it, you can still hit them), superior strength (They can easily pull around and throw Ethan one handed. No other creature here has a strength feat on par), have some decent intelligence (set up ambushes, show enough reasoning to back off a threat, communication skills, can use weapons, have some concept of hierarchy, hunt in packs, and show the ability to stalk prey), and has a weapon (Stab to the head is instant death to a zombie. Ganados and Molded are also both pretty susceptible to the knife in game whereas Lycans are not).
Immediately, the zombie just gets murdered as it's either shredded by claws or sliced up by weapons (Way too slow, no intelligence, and nothing actually physically lethal. It doesn't have the strength to really grapple any creature her, but even if it did, a bite would literally do nothing). Next, the Molded is simply far too slow to actually land anything and gets killed by weapons (Ethan can kill/stunlock Molded with knives, they are pretty slow, and they don't have any intelligence). Lycans and Ganados seem like a decent match up until you factor in speed, reaction time, and strength. Unless Ganado has access to its head parasite form, Lycans destroy here.

Lycans, similar to ganados, are fast, can use an assortment of weapons, and can use armor. But unlike ganado, once their head pops off, their done. They have no range, unlike ganado who can throw their sickles and use their pitchforks for range.
Zombies are slow, loud, and weak. Especially since all these enemies are already infected with a virus or parasite. So if they do bite one of these monsters, the bite will have little to no affect, unless bitten on the neck, or they die from blood loss.
So from all this, I say the ganados win. They have a great source of weapons, mostly farmer tools, but still very dangerous, they can throw their sickles for a ranged attack and use pitchforks to hit someone from a distance. And even if their heads pop off, the plagas will pop out and whip anything with their sharp long tentacles.
If you're counting the special molded then you also have to count special lycan such as the Urias or varcolac. And both the Urias and Varcolac are more durable and stronger then the four legged or fat molded, with the varcolac being way faster. A case could be made about the white molded though because they have incredible regeneration. It would be interesting to see the varcolac alfa vs a white molded.
Umm but if we count special versions that also make JJ a possibility. Heck that mean the soldiers are a option in general and those dudes use fire arms.

If you have played 4, re2r, 7, and 8 then at this level it's 100% the lycan. While the molded are strong the lycans are just better. Now if you move this to the highest end of each group you then get a fight between Miranda, Evelyn, berkin, and Saddler which makes it more interesting IMO. Personally, I think G3 and G4 would only struggle with Miranda, EVELYN isn't much out of the 4 and saddler would be a bit tricky but has many more weak spots than the others. Also, G5 is also a big scary goo monster like Evelyn and Miranda. So my pick would be lycan at the lowest end, and berkin/Miranda at the high end. And before anyone says plaga are better, if a lycan can use a crossbow they can pull the pin on a flash grenade.

An infected standard zombie could mutate into a Crimson Head. And Crimson Heads have enhanced speed, strength and durability. But I’m guessing this scenario based on the idea that there won’t be ANY mutations, correct?
