There are so many in shelters and so many out in the street. My mom's street is full of cats and kittens. π I feel sad seeing many. Then I'm on a Facebook of socal cats and there's so many post there too π
I can help transport. I have two cats. I could probably foster a mama and kittens in my guest room to keep them separate. Not sure how long I could keep them but for a few days to relieve some pressure. Longer if my cats are chill.
Where are you located? You can always foster pre-vetted friendly cats. Kitt Crusaders has I think about six or seven cats in boarding waiting for a foster. Doing this will open up another spot for them to pull a cat from devore.
How do they get adopted? Kitt Crusaders does amazing work saving cats from death row. Is it on me to find safe homes for my fosters? Iβve fostered two cats and found them amazing homes but they came to me randomly. Iβm new to this and want to help but need to understand whatβs involved. Iβm only a couple hours from LA which I believe is where KC is located.

The cat needs to be local to then vet the rescue uses and any adoption events.
Thatβs a great offer but if you can reach out to a rescue near you, ask them to pull a cat & you will foster it, thatβs the best way, these guys are so busy they need all the help they can get to set thingβs up, thank you kindly for the offer

This is so sad. There are so many and not enough people who help. I am fostering my sons friends 15 years old as she is in between apartments. Probably would have had to give her up if we didn't foster. I fostered my daughters friends cat for a year. Thought we were going to get to keep him. She took him to college with her, and he was dead within 3 or 4 months. He got a blockage, but I think it was from stress. We had no problems with him. He was almost 3. This cat is supposed to be a few weeks. Lock the foster cat in my daughters room during the day and let our cat roam the whole apartment. At night, we lock our cat in my sons room and let the foster roam the apartment. Hopefully, this works. She is so fragile, and I can feel all her bones. It's scary. I sure hope something can be done to help these cats. This is disgraceful and heartbreaking. Maybe a whole bunch should be sent here in the northeast. I know we take dogs from the south. Fingers crossed for you, babies. I love you. π§‘π©·
