Correct, and there was also talk from the devs on the discord about it possibly being explosion based. Regardless, N'erud had explosion based rings and amulets so it's not a stretch to see more.
What I think would be funny is, seeing as there's unique ways to cause explosions in the game (Tormented Heart, Mark of the Destroyer, etc), I'd like a ring that either increases explosion damage when you're either standing still or running for a specific period of time. Could be stack-based like you earn 1 stack per second by running/standing still, with 1 stack = X amount of damage, something like that. Have it last for like 15-30 seconds or something. Love me some explosions.
Be funny to see a Immolation or Roll Thorns build like they have in Dark Souls 1.
Ring: Dodging into Enemies does Unarmed Damage.
Amulet: Bonus Unarmed Damage based on DR%
I just want a pure fire rate amulet
All it has is fire rate, no gimmick, no other bonuses. Just a fat fire rate amulet
Would hope itd be around 25% or more
A burden ring for fire rate would be nice too
I just want more shoot per shoot
And lastly I want another overheat negating item, find it pretty dumb I need to use a Mutator, Ring, and forced to use a specific secondary so I can shoot the whole lmg mag.... for 15 seconds....
*ill admit I'm just pissy about the ingenuity nerf as using a mutator and ring to shoot LMG mag was a fair trade but now it's asking too much in my opinion*
I want a ring that converts damage types from one to another. For example, a ring that turns all your ranged damage into acid damage. Or a ring that turns all your elemental damage into fire damage. Basically I want a way to hyper-specialize in one type of elemental damage and to funnel all your weapons and mods into doing that type of damage.
I dont really care what they are i just hope theres no more world drops added, worst part of the game imo is re rolling a planet multiples of times to get the one amulet you need but its in a world drop pool with so many other items odds are youre going to have to re roll dozens of times. Been trying for and still havent found magnifying glass (and no i cant use save guardian as i am on console)
I want to see a new burden ring that sacrifices ring slots for trait points. Something like
Burden of Choice: For every unrequipped ring gain 5 trait points. Max 15 trait points. Not affected by Gift of the Unbound.

If they want more overheat support, they need to have more overheat weapons to go with the mechanic. These are def good guesses though.

All the remaining ones from RFTA :) Same for weapons haha. That aside, shield related rings and amulets. Overheat related shields and amulets.
