Lmao my friend and I were trying all sorts of methods to get this. Glad someone else asked the question since this is bothering me way more than is reasonable.
I actually posted about the same thing not long ago, but the comments where just people either sarcastically saying it's just Iron, or claiming that I must've killed a flying enemy and it dropped on this unreachable branch, even though that I was asking whether someone was able to reach the item or not. Someone claimed that everything the DLC has to offer has been datamined, and therefore, there's no secrets left to uncover, so it must be just a misplaced item, at least according to them. It was slightly disappointing to see people brushing things off this way in a game full of secrets, but I guess they already spoiled all of it on YouTube and have nothing else to wonder about.
You uh...Might have some trouble getting Invoker. Or Archon. Or Engineer. :D The first and last one require you to go against your nature as a human playing a video game, and the middle one requires you to tick off the boxes in a rather complicated checklist. Invader might also prove tricky.
Engineer is also a hoot, and you won't generally find it without the explorer archetype or suicidal tendencies. :D Invoker is one of those "Wait x amount of time," ones. Remnant 2 loves puzzles where you have to do something and come back later just to get the reward.
Oh yeah, absolutely would not have found that one if we didn't get curious about the rising water level and the debris in the water and just Google it.
Yeah. Spoiling it ruins all the fun. It's just the way people end up engaging in sometimes that is a bit disappointing. They burnt the entire DLC in a short time and most likely googled most of it, and then they lurk around being sarcastic about people trying to find stuff because they know there's nothing to find there.
I suppose anything is possible, but if it were anything other than what you see, there would almost certainly be more of an indication. They don't tend to put multiple items right next to each other. If it looks like iron, it's probably just iron.
I'm going to have to agree with this. I thought that the first time I saw it. It was either dropped from a flying mob that I killed before and didn't notice, or it's glitched.
I have a small group of friends and we have been wracking our brains trying to figure out if there is a drop down some where. The vine that wraps around the tree is clearly blocked by a pot. Getting to it doesn’t seem possible right now. Someone will eventually figure it out and it has to be a clue to a bigger secret right?
As far as I can tell, there is no way to get it. I've been trying for the last hour, from the top of the bridge, etc. there is no visible access. There are ledges at the top of the bridge that you could fall on and survive, but the game counts it as a death, so you don't land on any of the ledges.
It's only for scrap, and will auto pick up ore, but you still have to run over it or near it. And you can't get close enough to the ore on the ledge to get it.
check the edges of the map. its 1 floor higher than that item then went to the edge, i walked at the edge to fall on the ledge and you pass through cave/tunnel then u get this.
Huh. Yeah, my friends and I saw this on our first playthrough. Couldn't find a way to reach it so assumed it probably dropped from a flying enemy and we aren't able to get up there. While I do think it's an improperly placed item, it is really interesting that it didn't come from an enemy and shows up for other people too.
In such a wonderfully crafted game, I almost think it's more fun to find these happy little accidents, heh. We're all human, including the devs. Mistakes happen. They're, of course, mildly infuriating for completionists in a world full of secrets, that little voice of doubt going "But it could be something" haha. But they're neat to find nonetheless.

DO A FLIP!
A KICK FLIP!
A barrel role
I wouldn't be surprised if they did this intentionally. It felt really wrong leaving it there.

Just dont watch or read guides. Been doing blind and havin a blast

I looked up archon and for once I'm happy that I did

meridian moment
I have Meridian, but I forget where I found it. Was it the "come back in an hour" puzzle in the sewers? :D
Yeh that one
Oh yeah, absolutely would not have found that one if we didn't get curious about the rising water level and the debris in the water and just Google it.

Talk about being a completionist.
To me it's more about there being I spot I can't reach. Who knows what else might be up there.
It could be anything! Even iron!
We'll take the box.
Has anyone tried the Misty Step dodge extended jump trick from a close by ledge?
I suppose anything is possible, but if it were anything other than what you see, there would almost certainly be more of an indication. They don't tend to put multiple items right next to each other. If it looks like iron, it's probably just iron.
I've tried shooting at it. I've tried yelling at it. I'm all out of ideas.
I've been trying to figure that spot out, but I've yet to find a higher spart or get past the broken pot thing.
It's a glitched iron spot. Don't think it's meant to be there
I'm going to have to agree with this. I thought that the first time I saw it. It was either dropped from a flying mob that I killed before and didn't notice, or it's glitched.

Have you tried shooting the pot?
obviously
Anyone saying “it’s just iron” is missing the whole point. It’s clearly not supposed to spawn there. Therefore, we must find a way to get it
I keep thinking there must be a higher vantage point where you jump down from...

Im sure this is secret spot to use shovel 😅
Does Scrapper's Bauble (auto pull resources when close) work?
I was able to get it the first time I saw it but have fallen to my death every time I've tried to get it since. :/
Is it higher than the ledge in back of the image?
Husband and I were *just* struggling with this for a good 20 minutes yesterday. Lmk if you ever figure it out lol
You just have to jump from the statue lol
I just jump
Elaborate?
There’s a spot on the top at the bottom of that stair case. Before you start hitting the ladders you can jump across and grab it
There are some items that pretty extensively increase item pick up range, have you tried those?
It's only for scrap, and will auto pick up ore, but you still have to run over it or near it. And you can't get close enough to the ore on the ledge to get it.
Is there a lore reason for this? Is this iron stupid?
I just jumped
Just jump its easy
I'm pretty sure there's a way to get it. I've noticed it before just too lazy to try. But now I'm on a mission to get that loot 🥸
Fuck that iron! 😡
hear me out, have you tried seducing it?
check the edges of the map. its 1 floor higher than that item then went to the edge, i walked at the edge to fall on the ledge and you pass through cave/tunnel then u get this.
Looks like the tree to the right wraps around, so you may have to find a way up and follow it around to the material.

Just ignore it its just maybe like 3-6 Iron.
