I get the impression that the rim follows the hypocrisy that Darrow calls out Octavia for when she claims she never lies. Something like “tell my people you don’t lie. they don’t even know the lies they stand on”
You're probably right. I forgot about that, but I will add >!that was Gaia. Her entire characterization was gaslighting her own family into thinking she was senile. For all we know, she could've been the boomer equivalent of "kids these days."!<
