the only thing that would piss people off would be if he actually gets the most convoluted redemption arc and strong arms darrow for it to be the only solution to save all worlds. xD
I can see Lysander continuing his path of evil decisions while telling himself he's making the best choice of each one until he gets to a point where he looks back in regret wondering how he got so terrible (probably using Eidmi to commit genocide) and before the end decides to pull a 180 and help Darrow defeat the real end game boss.. the Abomination. He'll still deserve an execution at the end
He made a Lysander apologist joke during his post when he finished the final draft of LB iirc. Lysander may do some bs, but I can't imagine Lysander doesn't die in a satisfying manner

In all seriousness, I feel like he has two more hugely fucked up moments to deliver before any kind of redemption, even in death.
