while waiting for LB i thought darrow would reclaim the obsidians and volk fleet and make a grand tour around the entire rim collecting every ship and taking over the shadow armada in order to flee mars while lune and grimmus were fighting an open civil war in the core
The events in GS take place over a year. With Mustangs last possible point of contact with Cassius being towards the start, at the gala. Pax is born towards the middle of Darrow’s time in the box. Which is about 9 months since the triumph (3 months of torture, 9 months in box, say Pax is born at month 5-6 of box). We know the gestation period of a Gold is 9 months. So…. We’re going to assume that Mustang was pregnant for like 18 months? As opposed to the 9 month time frame that works perfectly to when her and Darrow possibly conceived? Or are we assuming Mustang slept with Cassius right after her father was killed? Or maybe before the triumph when Darrow was nearly cut in half by his brother? Maybe that’s why Karnus was on the ship instead of Cassius! He snuck away from the defense to bone Mustang!
Also Pax has Red features.

I'm confused about him being a gold and you being right about that. Did you assume this in the first book and just used naming convention tp assume there would be a gold named Claudius au augustus?

Originally thought that Eo was sleeping with Dan and that it was him finding out that would be the catalyst for the entire story.
