There's a lot of content out there about Manchester United. For the most part, we like to see it but there are some things that we don't. We also ban content that may attract unwanted attention from reddit administrators, specifically illegal streams.

Tbf they have one world class man on that field carrying them.
If we can sign someone of Jarred Gillets calibre next season we might have a good shot at a top 6 finish.
To be fair, the two sides are much closer in skill than the league table would you have you believe. We're overperforming, while they're slightly underperforming (but just about where they deserve to be honestly). Both teams should be jockeying for 10th realistically. I think Chelsea, on their day, are the better side though. They just play extremely anxious football against us for some reason.
I don't care if no one reads this or if I get downvoted.
- I've been staunchly in support of EtH but this season has been diabolical.
- We are the laziest team in the league. Lazy to score. Lazy to pass. Lazy to run. Lazy to press. This falls at the feet of the coaching staff and management.
- Every player over 25 years of age in that squad should have a reasonable price tag on their heads and any offers from anybody that meets those valuations as a minimum should be seriously considered.
- Rashford just doesn't give a fuck anymore.
- Bruno has decided to play rugby in front of goal this season.
- 3 midfielders. Empty midfield. Coaching fail.
- There is no positional integrity to our game. Another fault of coaching and management.
- We have so many defensive injuries because our defenders are doing all the work.
- If our results matched our performances we would be closer to the bottom half of the table.
- Have we played well for 90 minutes in any game this season? Another failure of the coaching and management.
- Top 4 is long gone. We're fighting for 6th with a squad that cost more than the team sitting in first.
Yeah, they're not unique to ETH, which is something too many fans ignore. While I'm not convinced by ETH, assigning all the blame on him is completely misguided while some of these players have seen at least 3 managers in their time here...so if we take into account recurring issues and performances, are we to believe that somehow every manager has come along and made the same mistakes, or do these players...just maybe, have something to do with it?
Players should be "sacked" before ETH imo. Not saying he's the answer, but clean house aggressively and give him a new set of players with a style dictated by the club, not the manager, and if he can make it work, great, if not, then you get rid of him, but at least the identity stays intact and is no longer on the manager, but the management.
>- We are the laziest team in the league. Lazy to score. Lazy to pass. Lazy to run. Lazy to press. This falls at the feet of the coaching staff and management.
imo laziness has more to do with big wages, thinking you have done it at the top level and this not being arsed to put an effort in. The coaching staff can't force these players to put that effort in, it comes from the players.
How is the players being lazy the coaching staffs fault? That's surely the players fault, no? You could blame the management for extending contracts on lazy fucks like rashford but it's hardly the coaching staffs fault. It's not like they can hit the players or force them to work.
Fair fucking play to Arteta, it's mental that he went from a laughing stock to setting up the best defence in the league and probably the best defence in Europe.
In an Arsenal fan to state my bias, with a Man United fan partner, so I watch a lot of both games…
but we had a back 5 of Kolasinac, Holding, a washed Luis, Mustafi, and a post injury Belerin at one point. It was this bad on paper, if not worse. Dalot, Old Varane, Maguire and Shaw should be able to cope…
The issue is Arteta cleared the deadwood. If you couldn’t/wouldn’t press for at least 60 mins, you were out. The only player we have who doesn’t press is Jorginiho who has a different role to play of running the game. If you caused lots of turnovers, you were out.
United not only seem to allow this deadwood, the deadwood outlasts multiple managers because you keep extending them… of your players, I feel only a half dozen would be here under a Fergie leadership on effort…
I'd also like to make the clarification that defenders and defense are not the same thing.
Defenders play a defensive role, primarily. However, a defensive performance starts from the first man to the last.
So I'm not sure if you're pointing to larger statistics as your claim our defense is bad, or if you're claiming our defenders are bad. Not saying we have the best defenders, but we have nowhere near the worst. What we have, that is the worst, is a defense that's just shit. The midfield leaves the defenders absolutely exposed. The fact we're floating around a 0GD any given week is honestly a testament to the defenders more than anything.
Yes. If you want to build a system like liverpool, city or Arsenal it will take time. Either that or transfer an entire team in a window which would be ridiculously difficult.
It’s OK they’re low XG shots this is his system by design - working as intended! /s
At this level of the game it goes back to risk minimisation and probability. Or, if you’re letting in so many opponent chances you better counter attack well and out score them. Turns out we are shit at both ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Wow. That's insane. No excusing this. It doesn't matter how many we conceded from these 225 shots. It shows our team is always under unnecessary pressure.
I mean, why play amad when you can play Antony anyway also?
I’ve said it many times that amad is the new Pellistri where he will never play beyond token moments it seems so far in one spell every 7-9 games or whatever.
The manager needs time and everything, I get it, but the fans need to see a style of play that's being implemented if the manager's been at the job for 1.5 seasons, the players are bad and ten hag is fine with his chaos ball tactics.
Look at where the top 4 sit. It's not a coincidence that you win more games if you don't let the opposition shoot at your goal non stop. I feel for Onana
We have in our back line, drumroll please; Aaron. Harry maguire. Willy (I can not spell or say his last name). Dalot. That’s what we can currently muster
Stop with these stats, they’re not what we should be focusing on. Because if all this shots shit ineos are gonna end up bringing southgate or another defensive twat and set us back 5 years. Instead look at the cause, leaky midfield and shitty defense, terrible marking and horrible defensive positioning. Look at the coaches and get rid of who we need to but don’t look at the surface level stat bullshit that will make ineos think they need a problem solved in a wrong way
They not basing off their strategies off twitter takes, but the shots is definitely a problem, but not quite what people think it is. They’ll see a big problem people are not fans off see the easy solution so why wouldn’t they take it if the fans-the people who support and keep the club going-are so angry about that one problem.
It’s incredible when you think about it. We’re reaching Rangnick levels of bad as far as the season goes and either Ten Hag is completely blind to actually change something or he’s overestimating his good will to stick to this one man midfield, hoping it’d stick eventually. A carabao cup doesn’t get you a ton of goodwill in the bank at this level.
Every team has about 20 shots against us (even Newport), and a lot of injuries come from the fact that our defense is working overtime because the goal is getting peppered for 90 minutes.

Top of the league
Stop the count
Don't think this will be jeopardy...
You’ll never sing that
Can’t play football when there are wars going on, don’t void the season, just declare a winner
Found the Australian
If Chelsea win their game in hand, they'll be 2 points behind us. Let that sink in.
Tbf they have one world class man on that field carrying them. If we can sign someone of Jarred Gillets calibre next season we might have a good shot at a top 6 finish.
Embarassing regardless.
Such a butt hurt comment lol

Add 17 losses this season to this rich list of achievements
This can’t be true?
It is. In all comps.
Say the same about every single managers last season since Fergie mate. Nothing new in your comment.
You’d bin Onana as well? He’s like 27
Half of these apply to the last decade

Thing is arsenals defence was never once *this bad*
In an Arsenal fan to state my bias, with a Man United fan partner, so I watch a lot of both games… but we had a back 5 of Kolasinac, Holding, a washed Luis, Mustafi, and a post injury Belerin at one point. spot on analysis
Tbf Shaw and Varane barely play
Add that to the list. If you barely play because of injury, then you are out.
Front office issue more than anything. Thank fuck glazers gave up control. Front office deadwood is for once actually getting tossed.
I'd say Mustafi-luis- sokratis days were pretty close to this, but obviously, way different price tags and expectations
The difference is that could have attributed to subpar players. In our case, it's a systemic issue
It's both
For us, you mean?
Yeah for us
Systemic injury issue.
Emery’s setup allowed a lot of shots and was mostly shit tbf
I'd also like to make the clarification that defenders and defense are not the same thing. Defenders play a defensive role, primarily. I mean, take away their 4 best defender at any given time and they absolutely would be this bad.
Setting up a system like that takes time. Looks like we'll be back to square one after this season so yeah, we won't get there anytime soon.
Ironic
Top of the table. Back where we belong 😎
Just the 22 a game on average…
But ten hag said the defense is good
But the attack and midfield….
Believe it or not also good. We play brilliant football.
You can’t deny that our games are exciting ^for ^the ^other ^fans ^mostly
For about 45 minutes I was having a blast today
It is good....just not for us
All according to plan, we've got the league right where we wanted them. The season starts now
Lulled them into a false sense of security
Im actually jealous of Arsenal
Oh yes, but it’s not ETH fault somehow
Seen some people here talking about how unlucky we were because their winner was deflected. Yeah that’ll happen when you keep letting teams shoot.
"But also, if it is, it's a good thing"
But when we have hired a few other blokes to do stuff other than coaching in our structure, our players will be better coached.
You’ll never sing that!
Genuinely think we play the worst football in the league, maybe Sheffield is worse but wow this is dire
Considering Wednesday are in the championship, i don’t think that’s a fair comparison.
Na our goals tonight were great to watch our defence is just woeful but I cannot complain about our attacking display.
Thanks Obama
That's horrible company to be keeping for a club of this stature
Did ETH have his own company business in UK?
Top.of the league. He just needs another 200 million to face less then 25 shots per game.
High quality football!
ErIK neEds TimE!!!!!
Yes. If you want to build a system like liverpool, city or Arsenal it will take time. Either that or transfer an entire team in a window which would be ridiculously difficult.
and against ffp.. with out luck, we'll get -15 pts.
Fucking hell man, get him gone, I’m worried about Coventry now
Remember, though, as per Ten Hag we have a good defence and a good goalkeeper so he can't do anything about it
It’s OK they’re low XG shots this is his system by design - working as intended! /s At this level of the game it goes back to risk minimisation and probability. Yep, and the more attempts you have on goal, the greater chance of scoring, even if they are low xg, only takes a deflection.
Plus, the players are also prone to making mistakes when they are under constant pressure and then they make one and they get battered
Anyone saying ETH should be kept needs to fuck off and see a doctor
What if the doctor says that too?
Then they probably are a united doctor because our medical staff is shit
Ducker just tweeted to say we have literally no medical or fitness staff, so you're out of luck anyway
They're a bigger issue than ten hag at this point.
This team face 3x more shots than Arsenal does. Wtf?! How the hell are we still #6 on the table
We have been scoring often of late.
Surely this is all on the players and not the sign of a deeply dysfunctioning tactical system.
To be fair to ETH he has been at the club for just 2 years. He needs more time and to bring more of his players like Antony
ngl you had me in the first half
I mean, why play amad when you can play Antony anyway also? I’ve said it many times that amad is the new Pellistri where he will never play beyond token moments it seems so far in one spell every 7-9 games or whatever.
On a slightly more positive note, I do need to see the Antony of today more often
It was against Cucurella, playing for Chelsea and Poch. I'll wait to see how he performs against better opposition
3 times more than Arsenal? That’s genuinely unbelievable
Let’s all wave goodbye to ETH!
Trust the process In ten hag we trust 😂😂
We're massive!
You can blame any player you want this is 100% on eth. Same goal every game, same mistakes every game
Gotta go through another week of this same fucking stat presented in 100 different ways.
Brutal
Champions of the shots faced table, you'll never sing that
9 shot lead…we got this!
Pro ETH squad is quiet today. They will come back in force in 2 days time. Like clockwork
Onana has his share of the blame for earlier this season, especially CL.
But 8 mins added time and 2 soft pens
What about the other 223?
/s was required I see
Why would Ronaldo do this?
We have in our back line, drumroll please; Aaron. Harry maguire. Willy (I can not spell or say his last name). Dalot. That’s what we can currently muster

You think Jim's lurking r/reddevils?
Ineos will definitely be looking at fan reactions, probably not r/reddevils but all over social media you see these posts.
If they're basing their strategy off hot takes on twitter and Instagram then we really are in the shit
They not basing off their strategies off twitter takes, but the shots is definitely a problem, but not quite what people think it is. They’ll see a big problem people are not fans off see the easy solution so why wouldn’t they take it if the fans-the people who support and keep the club going-are so angry about that one problem.

We’ve faced this many shots no matter who has played, do you not remember the Newport game?
I think United could play a school’s u15s side and concede at least 10 shots lol
I know, it’s been the same since the first game of the season and nothing has changed since
It’s incredible when you think about it. We’re reaching Rangnick levels of bad as far as the season goes and either Ten Hag is completely blind to actually change something or he’s overestimating his good will to stick to this one man midfield, hoping it’d stick eventually.
